I'm so glad that SD is doing better and that you may have an answer to why he's been scared. I can't believe Bob's not feeling better. I hope the antibiotic kicks in and he's much better by morning.

I know we're all stressing about Fay, but I'm worried about Jen (G-Luv) She hasn't been on the DIS since last Monday. Does anyone have her number to call her?

I was thinking about her today... looked back a few pages to see if I had just missed her.

Happy had his yearly physical last week and they said his one eye was 20/25 so I should get it looked at.
So today I took him to the eye dr. He said his sight isnt at the point where he needs glasses. I asked him if he checks colors because I thought he was having an issue with them and he said that is part of the exam. THANK GOODNESS.. my baby has major issues with them --a kind of color blindness. He can see colors just not all of them and they tend to blend and just see shades. I have to take him to a nuero-opthamologist (sp????) to have an in depth color spectrum test done to see what colors he can see.

Sounds a lot like what my ds is going through. He is just now getting his colors down because they just do not look right to him is how it was explained to me. Primary colors are easy for him now but when you get more detailed colors he is lost. I do not understand it well and he is young yet for the color spectrum test.

He saw them and they all (that's 4 people so far) agree that it IS an infection and they also agree that he has to WAIT IT OUT for the antibiotic to do it's stuff. I don't know! Poor Bob.

Then we left and as we were walking out I asked what the issue was?! He said that he was worried that he would eat something he's allergic to and die. He said he never knew that you could be allergic and NOT be anaphylactic...
Gosh, wish he'd mentioned that before.....
So, he gives his blessing for us to go to FF. Thank God.

Sorry to here Bob is still not feeling better.
No wonder your son was having problems. Glad you were able to talk to him and help ease his worries. Sorry that MIL was kinda right when she said maybe he is worried about you going out of town. I for one will not let her know.

Yup! I'm here. Just catching up on some threads and posting on some friends' blogs.

I see your school starts next week? You got any big plans for the last week of summer?

My DD7 started last Monday and she's already waking up saying that she doesn't want to go to school today every morning! I told her, "Too bad because Mommy doesn't want to go to jail, so you're going to school!" Now I just can't wait until DD4 starts after Labor Day. Until then, I get to deal with her whining that she's bored and there's no one to play with...

I think we're going to take my neighbor's little girl over to the BounceZone tomorrow for part of the afternoon. It should be fun and also tire them out a bit!

DH is still doing well. Glad that he's not having any of the trouble that Bob seems to be having. I assume he and Mel are at their concert tonight. I just hope he's enjoying himself and isn't in too much pain!

DD is OK she can barely talk but otherwise ok. She still has to have a rootcanal and next year even more . She is lecturing the kids about taking care of their teeth. She stoped going o the dentist in High School and didn't go till after the twins and that was for wisdom teeth. Now she is paying. Did I tell her what would happen, you betcha ! Did she listen NO!!!!!
