Sounds like my DD4! Actually her "fiance" is here right now for a playdate. That's why I haven't been on yet this morning. He's here with his sister and then my two girls, so it's crazy. Their mom should be here soon though, so I'll check in again this afternoon and respond to everyone then.

Jen- Do you use that etsy sellers soaps or are they lotions? How did you hear about them?

I stumbled across them...and I use the soaps and the lotions. Wonderful. Delicious. You could almost eat them.

So I may have a "date" like outing on Friday. This guy I work with and have known for three years has been sending me "vibes" for a while now and we made plans to go out to dinner and see Wall-E on Friday. I could be completely misreading things and he is just being friendly but it doesn't feel that way sometimes. I'm really not sure how I feel about him so I figure I should at least give it a chance right?

I say give it a shot. YOu never know. Get your groove on baby girl!

I HATE ALL THIS TOUGH LIFE STUFF TOO.
Worry about my kids.. protecting Joshua... getting him what he needs... to the point I smother Sarabeth.
Having to become the Parent to your Parents.. then watch them die.
Watching almost everyone you know with "NORMAL LIVES" NORMAL FAMILIES AND KIDS... and getting Sometimes.. because they do not understand. Then they say something stupid to me like... "hey you guys wanna do something this week or weekend?"
Uh.. Hello.... NO BABY SITTER You know that.. and I do not see you volunteering to watch them so Scott and I can go out on a date.
I just hope that people are just "STUPID".. and say things that they really do not mean.. that they chose the wrong words or delivery.I would hate to think they are just MEAN.

I know all these "LIFE THINGS" make us "Stronger and Tougher"... but sometimes... I do not want to be strong...

Wacky friend issues... oh, now this one hits close to home. I'm going through a "thing" with a close friend right now, too. She needs to be around people and constantly doing things. I need the exact opposite. And this extends to parenting: she and her DS are constantly running from activity to play date to dinner to activity to play date to dinner... you get the picture. And she invites Leo and I often, which is very nice, but it's not our thing. We only have every other weekend together to do stuff (he's home all week, but we only get time for dinner and a couple books before bed), so we really need to have each other's full attention for most, if not all, of that time. The friend does NOT understand this. She also doesn't quite see that it's no fun for Leo to hang with her much younger DS. I love her to death, but it's hard sometimes, with our personalities and parenting styles so different.

Being friends is haaaaard! Do you say something...do you not say something??? BLAHHHHH!

Jen, we all say stupid things from time to time, but your friends comment about Jon at school was supremely dumb.

Well, we just went up to the junior high again. I met with Jon's case manager and we are setting up his health plan meeting. Jon also opened his locker today...for the first time...all by himself!!!

Jon insisted on buying a school shirt...two in fact. They smallest size they had was an adult small. So, Jon's now wearing his new nightgown.

Ooops... I just got off the phone with the nurse who is calling in a second Rx for a bladder infection for me. She listed all the bladder irritants and I was busted. I have a coffee and a big glass of tea in front of me and guess whats on the list?! And- alcohol! Bummer. I was going to have a nice dinner (hopefully with K) tonight with a glass of wine. I'm not excatly helping myself out, I guess. Also- one I thought was shocking was cranberry. She said no citrus or cranberry. She said it's a new discovery. So, now we all know.

I'd better run!

Hi everyone.I am a little lost but I did skim the last page and saw that were needed.

This morning my kids started school.It was a little but also This is the first time all of them are in school and it was especially hard letting Rachel go.She was soo excited to be a big girl though.

RE: the cranberry and citrus and bladder infections--I just had a bladder infection and kidney stoney not quite 2 weeks ago. Lots of fun! Not! But in talking to a friend who sees a top pediatric urologist for her 5 year old that has bladder infections--he said citrus was still the best thing and that real lemonade had more citrus then any other citrus drink. So that's what her son drinks to help his.

Okay, so I accidentally found out who DD7's teacher is today. I was delivering some stuff to the school office and saw that there were class lists sitting there. I didn't rifle through them or anything, but did happen to glance at one of the second grade lists and DD's name was on it. So, now I know who her teacher is and...

My friend laughed at me...and told me I had to "cut the strings sometime."

Tonight he kept talking about how we should get married someday and he drew up plans on what our house would look like that he would build. It kinda freaked me out a bit.

Well Ben was a little bugger last night, he woke at 12.30am then 4.30am and he was awake thrashing his legs around till 5.30am so I'm tired

Dad sent me and the girls off to the cinema this afternoon, we saw Mama Mia and it's fantastic, I was trying not to sing the whole way through Anyway Dad was going to take the boys for a long walk in their pram so they'd sleep, well guess who forgot to take the pram out of her car before she went to the cinema? Whoops, both boys were a nightmare too!!!! They did fall fast asleep after their bath though

Home tomorrow for a decent nights sleep, can't wait!

Give it a shot, you never know. maybe he's just trying to show you he likes you with all the future talking?! Dinner and a movie won't be so bad, esp if you are uncomfortable you don't have to talk much in a movie! My advice tho- to avoid awkwardness find out who's paying for what before hand so you aren't surprised if he triesd to pay for everything, ya know?

And if you keep seeing him, but still don't know how you feel you can still be single in your head.

Hi everyone else! I haven't much patience for too many quotes today lol. I think my insomnia is coming back...i fear that...I need some darn sleep! I was up most of the night then slept late this morning. So annoying, I feel all out of whack.

Just packing and making some choc chip pancakes for dinner...not much else going on!
