Not much here. Jimmy is up and raring to go after a good nights sleep. MY girlfriend is coming over for what we call the great clothing exchange. (She gives me clothes her oldest DS has outgrown but is still usable and I give her stuff Jimmy has outgrown for her younger DS). IT's great becasue then I will only have to spend $$ on a few new things and the essentials (socks and underwhere) for Jimmy. They are coming for lunch (left over BBQ), but it should be a relaxed day!

Why did they take off the front page

. They are just sitting making fun of the Backyardigans while they eat now. The party's over at 10, so I'll probably run them home then.

Jimmy would be so disappointed. He loves the Backyardigans. We saw them LIVE a couple of weeks ago.

B has try-outs for the dance team Tuesday and Wednesday, so she'll need her rest today also.

That is the worse part. I mean, I know my friend is clean, but I will still wash everything before I let Jimmy wear it.

Just finished cleaning the kitchen floor. I resemble that T-shirt I saw at "wal-mart" around "Mother's Day" that said.. " You know you are a MOM when the Kitchen floor is dirty and you do not care"

Well I do care.. but I am just "gun-shy" about cleaning it since I fell last April and dislocated my shoulder.. leading to surgery this past December.

As you can see, I only made it an hour and 15 minutes past my normal bedtime. I'm sure my buddies here were the main reason I wasn't asleep by nine.

A and C won't watch Backyardigans. I think it's so cute. I also love Little Einsteins and they won't watch it.

I'm liking some of the new faces. I'm sure I'll be annoyed when the one I want isn't there, though.

I did reply to the comments "over there" and they DELETED MY POST and then went back and EDITED all "their" comments to make themselves look good.

I couldn't even defend my comment (which was posted out of context, purposely to make me look bad on two separate threads)

For someone running a site that touts itself as "free of censorship" they sure feel free to attack someone for having an opinion that differs from theirs.
And by the way, it was also mentioned that I was reading and posting there and dared to say something bad about it. Uh, hello, YOU ARE TOO.

Dang, girl! How do you clean your floors and end up needing surgery?!
I'll need to mop today since the stupid pineapple cups I bought for the party came apart easily and there were many juice spills. I don't dare do it until everyone goes home, though.

I'm doing some lesson planning for this week. Since Dad's home I may get him to help us finish the castle we started building/painting a few weeks ago. My school closet could use some help too.
It's so stinking hot here already, that if you're not swimming, you don't want to go outside after noon. So, I have everyone outside playing already. They'll be hiding in the house later smelling like stinky dogs from all the sweat.

Anyway, today is my clean til my fingers fall off day - D is going to take the boys out somewhere.

We gardened all day yesterday and then I went out to Kohl's and Target after dinner and picked up three new cute/casual skirts and 4 new cute/casual tops for France wear. I am freaking out about that. I know I'll be tagged for a tourist no matter what, but I would at least like to look like a "good" tourist, if you KWIM.

Today is my day to kick my DH's hiney and get him outside to re-mulch and wash the deck! I need to run to Home Depot and Tgt, plant my flowers (which I bought last week) and then there is washing the hardwood floors. Yuck! They are all crusty from me preparing the meal that I catered on Sat.

I might get hired for another catering job. Another neighbor loved my food/presentation and wants to hire me.

I slipped in the water on the floor, tried to catch myself by grabbing the sink edge..TWISTING my shoulder.. popping it out ( that was the second time it has been dislocated) and in doing so.. dislodged cartlidge in my shoulder, AND ripped loose some muscle. CAN YOU SAY OUCH ???...I KNEW YOU COULD" I just delt with the pain.. and put if off till after summer ... then after Sara's tonsillectomy.

You know most people who are blatantly mean are usually either insecure or immaturely defending themselves. Mel, as hard as it can be...JUST IGNORE THEM! Just like we tell our kiddos.
