Hi all---
just talked to mom and he had a good night and got a shower this morning so that was good news. The specialist has talked to him and remarked that he looked well, but is now reviewing the chart. They have to figure out how contagious he is (in isolation now) and I guess they'll tell us how much risk we have since we were exposed.
The tests should be back tomorrow nite to know for sure what he has, but the antibiotics are working so that's good.


Trying to get my house picked up some today since I've been out all week--it's kinda scary looking.

So I guess visiting him is out of the question for me huh.

I occurs to me that we've had a lot of new Fockers join in since last summer.... steel yourselves - T and I will commence Heat Complaints R Us in T-minus 3ish days. Bringing the kivetch form coast to coast we are.

I would just call R myself. However, we're really friendly but not really close - I don't have her phone number. They're fantastically well off and therefore unlisted, and I'd have to call MIL to get R's number. Since I'm trying to do a bit of an end run around MIL...

See another reason I'm glad I never took the walk down the aisle.

There's a reception immediately afterward, but then the dinner ressie is at 6:00 at Legal Seafood. Perfectly acceptable time for the boys, and we love the (casual!!!) restaurant.

You're gonna love this.... I'm allergic to my own tears and my own sweat! Yep, it's the iodine I'm actually allergic to. So if I don't wipe the tears/sweat off quickly, I start breaking out in hives. Taking Zyrtec daily helps a LOT, but summer sucks.

I think I saw some inquiries about the new job... It's going really good, but busy since I am still doing most of the old one too Witchy poo ain't exactly stepping up to the plate! BIG surprise, NOT!

Anywho, the old Sr VP, mentioned today he wants to have lunch in the near future to talk about the reasons that made me unhappy so he can make corrections. He told me since he knows I will give him the non-sugar coated truth he wants to talk privately and get some examples.

Witchy poo better not push my buttons or I will nail her to the proverbial cross. (can you tell I don't like the woman)

Deptford (Glouster County). I was thinking about the outlet in Jackson, but I have to see if they have Disney Outlet

Hey Mo..how far are you from Jackson, NJ...Premium Outlets. I am thinking about taking a ride up there on Sunday. I am waiting to here back from my girlfriend to see if she is interested in taking the ride with me. They have a Disney outlet BUt they also have an Osh Kosh outlet and I love Osh Kosh jeans for Jimmy but I refuse to pay $35/pr at Macy's, KWIM?

Well--the doctor said he has pneumonia and went into a kind of septic shock but that is all improving now and he should not be contagious anymore. Apparently the sepsis caused his liver to start shutting down confused: ) but that has turned around and his liver is fine now. Still confused how he got sick so fast with pneumonia--but the medicine he takes for RA suppresses his immune system (it's like chemo), so he is pretty susceptible to stuff.

Anyway---they are hoping the doctor will let him come home by Sunday, but they really don't know for sure.
(and of course, everytime I cough, I'm thinking "OMG--do I have pneumonia????")

Remember--I had it 2 years ago and felt like crap--but still managed to pull off my Disney trip in an ECV!

That's great news TE, I didn't realise pneumonia was contagious??? Hope you don't get it, stay healthy
