Ooo, ooo, ooo! (I feel like Horschak here!) Have I got a product for you....
Redken Outshine 01 Anti-Frizz Polishing Milk. :thumbsup2 The only - ONLY! - product that's ever calmed the frizzies in my hair in full humidity, provided jsut a touch of control, doesn't weigh it down, AND has so little scent, it doesn't fight with my perfume! I think it's meant for straitening, and I've blown mine out with it, but it does wonders for my curls - smooths and softens them without pulling the curl out. Great stuff!

I am sure what V suggested will work, but if it doesn't... I use a new product by Aveda. It is called smooth infusions, style prep smoother. It has a very light citrus scent, as it is made with mostly natural or organic items. They also make a great shampoo/conditioner to go along with it.

Thank you, thank you. We'll have to go give them the sniff test. :thumbsup2

I need some input, please. My oldest son has long hair. It's super fine and he has oodles of it. Its been getting frizzy with the humidity, so I'm trying to find something to control the craziness. I use Fructis anti-humidity smoothing milk and really like it, but he says he'll smell like a girl :confused3 I can't find anything that won't make him smell like a girl. Any suggestions?
Have you had him try Pantene Pro-V Restoratives ... frizz control I have the extra strength serum and it's pretty mild smelling... smells like conditioner

I'm still in my jammies...first day of summer vacation to do that! It's too flippin' hot outside to do anything. We have 100 degree temps for the next several days. Who wants to come to NM???

I just spent the last 5 minutes in my backyard flailing my arms about to try to get my dog to come in. She thought it was a game to run from me. That 3 pound pooch is fast. There's a large field and then the mall behind my house...and I am visible from the street. People probably thought I was a crazy lady...running around, flailing my arms and screaming for my "Kinz" to come inside. I tried to scare her to come into the house by pretending to squirt her with the hose. Well, what ended up happening is that "someone" had not put the nozzel all the way on the hose. So, when I turned on the water, it squirted out the sides all over me.

Sorry, but this image just made me :rotfl2:

Oh yea. And I updated my TR. Just sayin'...

I was there and read already...and I was first:snooty:

Thanks, Tanya. I'll look into that, too. (And I know they have it at Target!) He's only 11, so product is not a priority for him...but the long hair is. I don't care what he does to his hair, so long as it's clean and cared for.

My favorite is Super Skinny by Paul Mitchell. It defrizzes me great! I have long hair so I don't like anything heavy...it makes my hair look lank. I don't think it smells girly but what do I know? They have it at Rite Aid Pharmacy for $17 and change.

That might be too much for a kid's product....? :confused3

---------------

Things good here. Got some wash done. Made my bed and did dishes. Did a quick trip to the market for some things. Got my WW english muffins (1 pt! yay!) and some veggies. Took DS15 to lunch. Had to wait 32 minutes for his sandwich and then it was wrong! This is my fave place to eat. A small family style cafe with great homemade soup and salads. They raised their prices last week due to the huge costs that they are paying for supplies (trucking co's are charging more because of gas $$). I'm ok with the raise in prices, though I can't go there more than once a week now...What I'm not ok with is the service is bad lately and the salad that I usually orders has red/yellow peppers, cuke, tomato, calamata olives, onion and balsamic dressing with some feta on top. Well today's salad had two little tiny pieces of red/yellow pepper and practically NO cuke! Grrr.

Ok, rant over. Man. I don't mind paying. I don't mind waiting. But, DONT MESS WITH MY FOOD! I'm hungry! I'm on WW!!

Oh, and I ran on the treadmill for 30mins this am! Go me! :cool1:

Afternoon!
Had to work then get BA to the doctor.......poor thing got poison ivy on her leg......then leaned up against my muffler and got a 3 inch nasty burn on top of it. I've been doctoring it a lot, but was worried as it burns and itches so much.
So he put her on Medrol dose pack, silver burn cream, and Benadryl. At least it's not infected.

kate---I was gonna help with the Frizz hair part as Ab has naturally curly hair that will frizz......but she likes to smell like a girl........or actually like the whole Bath and Body line! ;)

Janet--is Jimmy better??

CE--great pics!!! Are u back on schedule??

CE- the pics are beautiful...more more!!!

Janet- How's Jimmy feeling today?

Mel- At least the power is back on! More power to ya for getting on the treadmill!!!

Re:MIL's- Mine makes a big deal of calling KC a few days ago to remind him that it's his brothers birthday. So I ask KC "do you think they know my birthday is in a few weeks?" He said "Probably not". I expected this...but if you don't send a card or call on their birthdays we never hear the end of it. I ahte double standards.

HSM- Good luck and feel better!!

V- I always wanted to try Tea @ GF!

Jen- Glad Tink is feeling better. This heat is kicking everyone's butt!

Rosie- Hooray for Steph!!!

T- I'll take your weather over mine ANYDAY! I miss swimming.

WHEW! We are a talkative bunch, and it's rough to get comments in on everything!

Yes it's too hot to deal.
I am home waiting for my disneyshopping.com order thats "in transit" today.
I think I may dye my hair too (too much grey coming out).
