I've been on the run since 8 am! Whew! Got all my shizzle done, so I can't complain. I headed to Le Creuset and had the funniest guy help me. He was an expert in Fuzzy Math. He ended up saving me over $40, but I spent WAAAAAAAY more than I planned, just so I could save that $40!

Anyway, dinner's just about ready and then it's Back to School night. I get to go solo as Andy's at work.

I called the office last week. They hadn't gone through their sub applications vs. need yet, but said I'd definitely know something by Oct.

Wow, we are so desperate here they probably would have called you on day 2. The school district had 100 no show teachers on day one. They took the job, then got offers somewhere else and didn't even call to say they weren't takig the job

just so I could save that $40!

Well, as LL says you gotta spend it to save it!

Back from the 1st home and school meeting. It went well and it was actually short. Boy are we off to the races. Our Cherrydale Candy Sale starts next week, so I will be going to school to help start getting the packets together to give out to the kids. I guess there is a plus side to being home sick, I get to volunteer a bit more at school.

Not much going on otherwise. Jimmy is in bed and Jim watching the Phillies game. I started the new drops the doctor prescribed so we will see how those go, but he said he saw alot of imporovement (many less cells????) so things are on the right track!

Jim and Jimmy are off to work and school :thumbsup:. Did I tell you that jimmy takes a bus to and from school? Last week my neighors took me back and forth to school. This week they are on vacation so I needed to make other arrangements. Jimmy's after school program also has before school care. (It's included in what I pay them, we just never took advantage of it). Anyway, Jim takes him there on his way to work (he winds up being there about 1/2 hour) then the school bus picks him ( and about 5 other kids from his school - 3 from his grade!) and takes them to school. Then after school he takes the bus there and then Jim picks him up. I think it is a long day for him, but its a great stop gap until I can start drving again. They also have breakfast for the kids if they want it. (Jimmy usually doesn't, he eats before he leaves), give them a snack in the afternoon, and also givce them dinner if they are there at 5pm (Jimmy is never there that late anyway though). I really think him taking the bus has giben him a bit of independence. My baby is growing up

I will probably go back to taking him in the morning once I can start driving again, but it's good to have as an option incase I need to get into work early!

Today was supposed to a day to get some more stuff done around the house (fall cleaning ), but I am being picked up at 11:00am by one of the other Home and School moms so we can go to school and start getting the packets together for the kids to take home for our first fundraiser of the year - The Cherrydale Candy Sale. Oh well, cleaning will have to wait until tomorrow!

I am truly sorry for the loses that some of you have had. I pray that healing for y'all comes quickly.

I love the second one it cracks my up because the lady on the left looks like she is slapping (gently) her son to get him to behave. Something I would do. Are you here?

My moms always snaps away with the camera even if everyone is not ready!!

OK, since my TR got stopped in it's tracks I thought I'd just post the pics that Jim took each day so that you can all at least see them. So, we will start with day one. Downtown Disney, Dinner at T-REx, and meeting Michelle!

I'm not sure what everyone else had, but let me tell you that we all LOVED T-Rex. The food was really good! I would definitely recommend a reservation. We were seated right on time, but by the time we came out the wait time for walk ups was 2 hours I felt bad for the CM's becasue some people were really giving them a hard time about the long wait. As the saying goes, bad planning on your part does NOT constitute and emergency on my part.

Anyway I has the French Onion Soup which was some of the best I have ever had and then dad and I splita shrimp and rice dish that was just phenomenal!.

It was great meeting Michelle and her family. They were all so nice and Jordan was very excited about starting DCP! I just wish we had more time to spend together. Next time!

BAck from the doctor, only there 2.5 hours this time. Much improvement! Gave me a bit stronger steroid drop, but he is verry happy with the progress. Go back again in 2 weeks!

So, I still didn't have to make him dinner, and I got the boys fed and showered before he came back. But, now he can go to open house with me in the morning, and he was flying with Deb's (my local Deb ) DH, so now the DH is taking care of her after her hip surgery tomorrow and I am off the hook for that.

I am so exhausted! I have been awake since 8:30 am YESTERDAY and I have no chance to get any sleep today until I am done classes at 6:30 tonight. I don't know if I am going to make it! If you don't hear from me and if my cruise report stops getting updated assume I have died from exhaustion.

I love these! I have the black and white ones. They are very comfie. Only problem for you may be that they are cut wide. I have wide feet and they fit me perfect.

Poor thing! I hope this doesn't get him like it got us. Baby Girl had fever for 6 days and ended up getting an ear infection, too. I was sick for a week and still have cough and some congestion I can't get rid of (been 3 weeks now).

I'm not into the running, either. Heck, I don't even want to be at WDW when a race is going on.

My sister called me yesterday to tell me our friends (they are my sister and her husbands best friends and always at our family gatherings) were riding their motorcycle Sunday and someone hit the husband. He died on impact. The driver fled on foot. Looks like the police caught the man. She saw the whole thing and is devastated. So sad. They've been together since she was 14.

Daran finally flew in late last nite from Colorado--he's been hunting elk for 10 days. The plane got delayed 5 hours in Atlanta last nite--he could have probably driven home in that time! He's not fond of Delta but he had a free ticket. He's taking off today to unpack and unwind and do some chores he missed!

I am thinking about letting A and C ride the bus home (my babies are too big! ) because I seem to get stuck behind it everyday making every stinking stop. It gets them home the same time I get them home, so why not, I figure. The drop of is two houses down, too. I'm not going to have them start riding home though, until after our trip. I don't want to confuse them by changing it to having my mom pick them up all next week.
