Why have you gone so long without sleep Lessa? Hope you get a good night tonight

I had class from 10:30 - 5:30 yesterday and then I had to be at work from midnight to 8 am (I stupidly agreed to cover the shift for a co-worker) and now class until 6:30. Normally I would have taken a nap before work but I just couldn't get to sleep so here I am sleep deprived. :sad2:

Ok, since I have decided to do NOTHING this afternoon;) Here are some more pics. We stayed in the Bowling Pin Section of Pop Century, which was new for us. The other 2 times we stayed, we were in the Rubik;s Cube Section. Here are the pictures Jim took around the resort. WE really like POP, but we are ready to move up. One of the reasons we are not taking a trip for at least 2 years is so we can moveup in resorts. We are considering now not going back until all the work in FL is done, so 2013 :faint: If we do that we are doing AKL!

THat's it for POP. Jim didn't take many pictures. Without me being around I guess he forgot:confused3

Here is my only park day. EPCOT. We had dinner at Garden Grill. The food was okay, but the character interaction was great! The restaurant was rotating, but was kind of boring since Living with the Land was down for refurb. Would go back for the character interaction...the food, not so much! Jimmy also rode MS for the 1st time and absolutely loved it!

 at least youll sleep well tonight. I had a friend that did a project in high school where he stayed awake for 80 hours straight! By the end of it, the teachers were begging him to go to sleep. He was hallucinating and all sorts of wierd stuff!

Kristel-:hug::hug: for you, doug, Rockie, and Rockies mom.

Guess what! I found all the quotes I lost the other day. When i opened the page to reply it was filled with about 10 quotes, but i couldnt remember what i was going to say so...:rolleyes1 :wave2:

This is my 5th day home straight! :scared1: It is wednesday right? I've been  with a fever for the past 3 days. I really wanted to go to work, but since i have a fever still it was a no go. I dont know how good id do lifting boxes and standing all day anyway.

I have pictures of my cousins and I at the garden grill when i was only 8.:cutie: The first day we got to wdw we went to garden grill. I was still dumbfounded and confused...especially when it was raining in July. :confused3 It was also the fist time us california cousins ever saw our Florida cousins.:grouphug: There was 9 kids ages 4-12 and only 2 adults: my grandma and her sister.:scared1:

anyway i should find those pics and scan them in because its funny to see the characters in their old outfits, etc. That restaurant was the first meal in a week of only chicken fingers. :headache: Kids meals stink at wdw. lol

Hi everyone!:wave2:

New Focker Ingrid (WelovMickey!) prompted me to come out of the woodwork (Hi Ingrid :wave2:). I’ve been a Focker wanna-be for ages now, and I think I even posted once or twice, and have been following your trip reports for (gulp) years now and figured it’s probably not right to just be a voyeur so I thought I’d properly introduce myself!

I’m Denise and live with my DH, Ken, and our little puppy Lilly in the Philly suburbs. I work as a paralegal but my obsessions are Disney, quilting, and cooking (if anyone’s in the area, I’d love to feed you!). We have a 20yo daughter Ariel (NOT named for the mermaid) who is in college in Philadelphia. My step-son Bill, his wife and our grandson (11 yo) live only 5 mins away. They all love Disney too. DH, DD and I just got back from the World a couple of weeks ago and we’re taking the WHOLE crowd next August – those bounce-back offers get me every time!! We had the opportunity to stay at AKL for a few nights this past trip before we moved onto SSR. Can’t wait to do AKL again, but next year we’ll be at Old Key West – with six people it helps that those rooms are so huge. And, the kids love it there.

Anyhoo, just want to join in the fun if you’ll have me. I keep telling DH we’ve got to plan a trip during Focker Fest one of these years!!

:grouphug:To Kat, Kristel and everyone else who needs one. May things be brighter soon.

OK, I missed something. Kat, you and KC found a new place????

Me too, Kat are you moving?

No. I dunno what gave u that idea. He wants to pack up and move out, as in separate. Maybe that was it?

thigns are pretty much the same. We canceled therapy for this week because we are just too tired. KC's brother is coming over tonight so KC can fix his phone. Tomorrow the plan is to vege out and eat leftovers and relax.

We went to trivia last night with the couple whom KC was helping with their marriage last week. I had a GREAT talk with the girl (Coral) and we decided we need to hang out and talk because we are in different situations but so much the same too. She told me that when KC spoke about things he was very emotional and she can see he still loves me he just doesn't know what to do. Thats a count of well EVERYONE who I have talked to about this thinking the same thing. He just needs to come to it on his own, hopefully he can get it together sooner rather than later.

Anyways I'm exhausted im off to relax on the couch for a while.

Great photos Janet and fantastic that Jimmy rode MS :thumbsup2

I think some of you follow DisneyParks on Twitter, well every so often they tweet about a panelist and today it was me, I was so chuffed when I saw it :yay:

 Hi Fockers! Checking in again. Still no computer and still at the library. I did quote a few people but am going to have to run and go pick up Lindsey in a few minutes so no time. I was able to read a long though and have caught up on a few pages. Hopefully soon I'll get our computer back.

 to Dawn, Kristal, Mary and Kat and to everyone else who needs them.

Hope eveyone is having a good day!

Mo and I had such fun at MGM today, just read her TR, she'll tell you! :goodvibes ToT is always great and I rode RNR for the first time in a while. I love it, but the shoulder harness usually gives me a headache. Not today though. :thumbsup2 I also got another good Toy Story score. No idea how since my accuracy is carp. :confused3 Enjoyed lunch at Sci Fi and tenatively planned a Thanksgiving meet with V. Hope that's ok, V. ;) :rotfl:

Don't worry about my driving, I arranged it so that Mom will pick me up from school tonight. ;)
Sorry to go all mom on you, Lessa. I just worry. Last year B's former dance team coach's husband fell asleep at the wheel and died in a wreck. K's so bad about stayig up all night when he's working a side job or something. It really freaks me out. :guilty: I'm glad you thought to ask your mom to dirve you. :goodvibes

And chuffed is good, right? :lmao: I told you you're famous!

Does anyone know if DVC gets little cute tags for their bags? I'm guessing no. :guilty: Mine are all marked up with my old addy.

For the new people... Welcome! I'm Dawn. :cutie:
Until this school year I was homeschooling my 7th grader, B. She's in the public school now and as of this week so are my younger two, A (DS6.5) and C (DD8).

So, I'm not a homeschooling momma now. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do first, projects or relax. :rotfl2:
I'm doing a bit of both until our trip is over.

We leave for K's mom's after lunch next Tuesday and fly out super early Wednesday (K's bday!) :yay: We haven't been on a trip alone since our honeymoon to Disney World 13 years ago.

Hi everyone!:wave2:

******************
I hope everyone is doing well. Things are settling in here, just in time for Bob and I to go away and things get all wacky again! LOL I'll have 8 pages of lists for the sitter....as usual.

Well, I'm having a terrible time thinking straight.

BYE!
MEL

Welcome Denise!

Well I survived! It was really difficult staying awake in class this evening as the subjects they were covering were so simple and I really didn't need to pay attention. I was sort of drifting. You know when you are sort of in that half awake/half asleep state and you don't even realize it but when you "come to" and look at the clock you are surprised to see that 20 minutes have passed while you were out of it. That was pretty much me.

I should sleep very well tonight, hopefully, as I have an early day tomorrow.

So, if you're friends with me on FB, you may have noticed that I enrolled my two youngest kiddos in public school Friday. I don't really want to talk about the whys other than to say that it's something I've been thinking about for several months. I finally felt like the time was right, so I went in and got things ready for them to start tomorrow. They are super excited. I'm excited too now that I'm over the sadness of realizing this will be the first time in 12 years I've been home wihtout a kid to watch and before then, I worked full-time.

I just thought I'd share. I set up a coffee date with a girlf firend and I promised the kids I will come to lunch with a special lunch for them tomorrow, so I don't know how much I'll be around.

Thanks for understanding that I don't want to debate my choice. I swear everyone around me has been weighing in on my decision. I don't get why people think they get to have a say in my choices for my kids. I finally starting telling people I just don't want to talk about it. That seems to be helping. :thumbsup2

So, thanks for being here for me once again. :grouphug:

:hug::hug::hug:

HI Fockers

Janet - glad the eyes are getting better

Dawn - no luggage tags for DVC, don't forget though if you get an AP there is a nice discount for DVC, and if no TIW, there are some restaurants you can get a discount, it will be in your Portable Perks book you get when checking in.

I noticed a few new members. I'm Mo and I have a live trip report going if you would like to stop by. Other than that I usually only pop in here once or twice a week as I get too busy in the real world.

Yes, I did see Angela today who kicked my butt on Toy Story.;)

Good night Fockers, I am ready for bed!
