Sooooo.........

I get a phone call from the school nurse. Jimmy swallowed an eraser (I'm guessing the one from the end of a pencil:confused3). He is fine, but she had to call..yada..yada...yada... Anyway she puts him on the phone and he says: "but mom it just fell right into my mouth:rotfl: He is fine. He was rearranging her office furniture. I told her to send him back to class...mean mom that I am!

But I thought you were my running partner Dawn? You do disappoint me :sad2: :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: You know I'm walking it right?
Not a fan of walking, either. :rotfl:

Sorry about your little one Dawn---have you talked to him about what happened today? Was it anything specific or just overall overwhelming??

++++++++

janet--sorry about your little one too! Ab stuck a rock in her ear when she was in Kindergarten---turns out she was trying to play "reporter" and she thought that's what they put in their ear.:headache:

The ER doc thought it was funny.......me not so much.

BA is still really ticked about getting rubber bands put on her braces today---she says she absolutely cannot eat or cheer with them so what's the point????

Poor C... :sad2: She said one of her teachers wasn't super nice, and she was worried about her assignment for writing. It's not due until Thursday, so I'm going to wait until after tomorrow's Teacher meet to work on it with her. :teacher:

I was thinking it was A that wrote the paper. It's good she can express her feelings through writing--that's pretty mature!:thumbsup2

Nope. A is younger. His teacher asked him to write and her wrote, "kor" and drew a picture of a car. :sad2: She said he was kind of put off by her request. I'm sure he just wrote whatever to get her off his back. :lmao:

I meant to say that that must have been a random thing, because she's perfectly fine. She's excited, dancing around... Mel even heard her singing. :cutie:

Also- Can I just say that my prayers for good teachers that will be good for them were totally heard. A's teacher is a sweetheart and we had a nice chat during her lunch today. I already brought home laminating to help her with.

C has a man, which threw me off for a minute, until I saw a Mickey Mouse hanging on his door. :yay: C says he's a Disney fanatic and even has hidden Mickeys in his classroom. :thumbsup2
He's her main teacher. The lady teacher she wasn't as fond of is only her Language Arts teacher.

Patrick Swayze has passed. :sad1:

really? Wow--he wasn't that old was he??

Hey--did u see my crocs link? What do you think--would you take them on the cruise??

Dawn--BA had a male teacher for 2nd grade and she really liked him--they are often more laid back. Now they have quite a few in high school.

Funny thing--BA said she checked in the middle of Art class today (after ortho appt)---and there was no teacher anywhere. She asked her friends where the teacher was they said no one had showed up so they just went and got their art supplies and started working on their projects. At 3 min till the bell, one classmate said "put your trays up and line up"......then the real art teacher walked in and said "where's the sub??" She was shocked it was 11 am and no one had showed up.......and she was really pleased her class had "run itself" so well!:goodvibes (that wouldn't have happened in high school, I bet---PARTY TIME!) :lmao:

Dawn - so glad things went better than y ou thought:cool1:

TE - That's too funny:rotfl:

Last checki in of the night for me. Jim and Jimmy did homework while I got dinner together (i.e reheated in the microwave;)_. then we had dinner, bath, and then the fight to get into bed:mad: Tomorrow should be interesting because no TV becasue he gave us a hard time going to bed. Luckily I have a Home and School Meeting, so Jim will have to deal with it:rotfl:

Tomorrow I have the appointment with the specialist, but not until 12:30 so I am sure I will check in, in the morning.

Have a good night everyone!

Good Evening All!

CEL BEL had a few friends over last Friday and then took it easy. Marc had worked an extra shift and wasn’t home with her.

Friends are gud! Give Marc a big hug.

JANET applied for the Mom’s panel. She used us to help with one of the answers! She’s planning her trip for next year. She wants help with decisions on Halloween or Christmas decorations. She had a choice today of laundry or going through old clothes of Jimmy’s. Jimmy’s culinary pallet includes erasers from the ends of pencils.

Here's the schedules for this year. I am assuming they will be similar for next year. I don't think there was a resort rate difference with Columbus day vs Veterens day.
F&W: Sept 25 to Nov 8
MNSSHP: Sept 5 – Nov 1.
Festival of the masters (Art) at DTD: Nov 13-15
MVMCP: Nov 10 – Dec 18
Osborne lights: Nov 10 – Jan 4

Good Luck with the Mom's panel.

JV has had a migraine and computer problems.

This situation could be related. I hope you get them both fixed soon.

TE got lost in a hammock. She is going to take the cruising fashion world by storm with the Sassari Croc in fuchsia. She will have to drive 5 hours for her pre-ear-surgery on the 29th. She explains the surgery on post #3390.

I guess the shoes would be good with the right outfit. The heals don't squish flat, do they? :rotfl:

MO has a live TR going. The link is at post #3362 – Thanks MrsK.

KAT said the wedding was a food fest. They didn’t get home until 5AM.

That sounded terrific. Except the time spent in getting home.

DAWN’s kiddos are away from her for school now. And she doesn’t want to discuss it any further.

I think I'd just ignore them. It's your decision and that's that! Hey, you're going to WDW next week! :woohoo:

CE and family were a bit chilly on the water yesterday. She is starting team drills in tennis but isn’t thrilled with the timing.

I'm glad you weren't the only one at the drill.

JO and David were planning a wonderful walk today in a beautiful place that was 30 minutes away. Once they got there rain threatened. So the browed some shops in another local town. They did get a walk in later in the day back home.

Well that just bites! You took a crappy situation and made the bast of it which worked out.
:cutie:

T and family went to DLR yesterday. Evan got sick. She kept him home today.

LORI says her computer caught a bug. She is posting from the library.

I’m here for 12 more days, maybe.

V is in a slump!
:hug::hug:

SLATE let us know that Patrick Swayze passed away.

I grew up with that heart-throb starring in almost every movie. He will be missed.

I'm working.

Rockie's mom is still not doing much better. I have been pursuing back up plans for the trip just in case. We got the insurance but I'm hoping they will let me push it back until the beginning of December if needed. I'll keep you posted.

Also, I think I forgot to mention that tomorrow Doug has an appoitment for consult on radiation treatment for his itty bitty tumors. It seems on the last MRI a couple of spots 'lit' back up. :sad2: They stopped the Temodar.

Gotta run!

Whoops :rotfl2: My sister stuck a rolled up candy paper right up her nose and ended up having to go to hospital to have it removed :rotfl2: Hope it comes out safely :rotfl2:
