We are getting along famously, seriously well, but he maintains that he doesn't feel the same. I still think he needs to get past the resentment and then he will see me in a new light. I am working on myself, for me, but also for us. i really hope he will come around, i have to believe he will. Did I mention there's a lot of "trampolining" going on too? weird right? The whole thing is just not normal. We go to therapy tomorrow and I can't wait, i'm thinking every little bit helps.

Hang in there, honey. :hug:

I am a pretty good talker :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Good job, Rosie!

Hey, Angela - could there be better eye candy than this match? :worship: :lovestruc:love: :rotfl:

hey guys! I havent finished catching up yet.

We had a good time but it was soo tiring. The park was pretty busy, and it was bad because i ended up to be the only really mobile person in our group. My grandma is slow, but not bad. My mom has a bad back and hip from her fibromyalgia, and my dad's knee was really bad. He was walking with a cane and they were trading off. Then marc was complaining he was tired, and after he ran the half marathon i think he could hardly walk. We got a wheelchair saturday, but after a whole day of me pushing my pooh sized parents around i was exhausted. They got a ECV on sunday but then marc was the caterpillar.:headache: It was a lot of fun, but marc and i decided we work much better with just us too and cant wait to go by ourselves again.

We booked our wedding.:banana: Now we just have to turn in the contract with our deposit and were golden.

I have finals this week :faint: and all i want to do is sleep. arg!

Hey guys!

Well I started back at school "today". It was just Orientation, I go to my first class tomorrow afternoon. So far so good, let's hope I am feeling the same way by the end of the week. :rotfl:

I am super tired though as work has been busy (it is Frosh Week) add that in with getting little sleep and nerves about school and you have one tired Lessa! :surfweb:

Kat, :hug: it sounds like you're going in the right direction.

Hey, Angela - could there be better eye candy than this match? :worship: :lovestruc:love: :rotfl:
:rotfl2: No kidding! I stayed up to watch the entire match. :goodvibes

We booked our wedding.:banana:

You still have orientation? Good luck! :goodvibes

I'm waiting for the inspector this morning any time between 8-12, but I have the phone number so I'm going to call to see if I can get a more accurate time. After he's finished, I have to wait for the drywall people to fix the walls. Fun day here! :3dglasses

Love that sitting around waiting for people... :rolleyes:

**************************************************
We had a horrible time this morning.

Woody - who, of course, wakes up cheerful and singing at 6:30 on the weekends - has been, for all what, 5 days of school?, really resisting getting up. There have been tears, yelling, etc. etc. Fun. Once he has breakfast and so forth, he's fine, wants to go to school, etc., but won't get up easily. We've tried earlier bedtime, but they are already fairly early considering their age, and they just lay awake and pop out of bed when we try for early nights.

So then last night D purposely stayed up really late so that he could sleep in this morning, as he flies to South America this evening and doesn't land until 2:30 a.m. He wanted to adjust his clock, so to speak.

Well, Woody popped right up this morning, but Buzz still made it up a few seconds earlier, so Woody starts yelling about going first to the bathroom. I am trying to keep him quiet, suggesting that he go downstairs to our other bathroom. No dice, he's stomping around and so on. Then, it's supposed to be only a high of 70 today, so for the first time I though they needed long pants for school. I just bought Woody a new pair of basic Hanes sweatpants, and he wanted to wear them. NO to anyone who does, but I just don't like the sweats for school wear. He had some last year that were more of a "tailored" style, and every once in a while those were OK, but I didn't think these were good. So, I admit to not handling it the best, but I said he couldn't wear the elastic ankled grey sweats to school, and he threw an enormous fit, which, of course, woke up D. (And yes, throughout all this, I kept reminding the kids to be quiet because Daddy needed sleep, so it wasn't like he didn't know he shouldn't have been screaming.)

D got up and started lecturing him on pulling himself together in the mornings, not acting up, etc., which needed to be done, but provoked a ton more tears and screaming. D, of course, was most unhappy as he needed to go back to sleep, and that's hard when you're really ticked at a kid. :sad2:

Then, of course, Woody was running desperately late after all this, so I
had to stay on him to get him out the door on time, which made him mad, too.

Woody is the one who doesn't love change, and I would imagine a lot of this is still because of the newness of second grade, getting back to routine... But even though I get the reason, it doesn't make it better to live through. :headache:

I hope D is back asleep - he did go back to bed once I got the kids downstairs.

Gah.

I have that haircut at 10:00, so I need to leave in another hour. For whatever reason, I couldn't fall asleep last night, either - I was actually still awake when D came up at 2:00 - and I would go snuggle with him, but I don't want to wake him up again because I'd have to set an alarm so I could make my haircut. ;) Maybe I'll curl up on the couch and set my phone alarm. ;) BBL! :grouphug:

I invited the godmother to join me in Epcot one day, her mother (almost 103 years old!) is recovering from some dehydration issues, so she's a little unsure if she can make it.
Wow 103, hope she's OK and you're very nice inviting her along!

We are getting along famously, seriously well, but he maintains that he doesn't feel the same.
Sounds as though you're on the right path Kat and if he didn't feel the same they'd be no trampolining :hug:

But if I called 911 I would have to file sooooo many papers, it was just easier to keep talking and walking !! I am a pretty good talker :rotfl2:

Sounds it :rotfl2: Hope they all arrive soon!

We had a horrible time this morning.
Yikes, why do kids do that? So far so good with Ellie waking up, hope it continues!

I've been so bored today, there are so many things I need to do but didn't want too, I did do a huge pile of ironing though. I also chucked away some lillies and managed to get the pollen all over my white t-shirt :sad2: Doubt that'll come out :rotfl2:

Hi all. ANother quick check in from me. Eyes are getting better. The one dropped that was keeping my eyes dialated (which is what prevents me from not walking around with a hat and sunglasses on) has been stopped. Still on the steroid dropeed, but things are gettings clearer every day:thumbsup2

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with everyone, but I hope to be able to too soon!. Go back to the specialist next Tuesday so hopefully I will get GOOD news!

Jimmy had a great 1st day of school yesterday, so hopefully this is a sign of good things to come!

I love and miss you all:hug: I hope everyone is well. I can't read everything back, it hurts my eyes), but I will catch up soon - PROMISE:flower3:

I am bored out of my mind, though. !

Hi, Janet! Miss you! Glad things are getting better. :goodvibes

Hi Peeps! :wave2:

Catching up is probably not going to happen, so I'm just going to jump in right about here and pretend like I know what's going ok, K? :teeth:

:flower3::flower3: all. I invited the godmother to join me in Epcot one day, her mother (almost 103 years old!) is recovering from some dehydration issues, so she's a little unsure if she can make it.
Did I miss something? You're in WDW now? :confused3

Yeah... I feel like I'm "medium" now - not exactly short, but I've been much longer even in the last couple of years. I feel like it's going to take a long time to get back to a length I really like, so I'm feeling like cutting it shorter, if you KWIM. ;)
I really like your hair short and stacked. You just have the perfect face for that kind of cut. JMHO.

I'm sorry, but why are you "trampolining" if he's saying he's not into the relationship? Sounds like he wants his cake and eat it too, KWIM?
Now if this were me, I'd cut him off until he was commited to the relationship. Why is he giving you mixed signals and most of all, that is not fair for you. I'm sorry if I offend you or over step my boundary, but I just hate to see you get hurt, Kat. :hug:
Kyle says he is getting perfect attendance this year !! We tried telling him Disney would kinda prevent that but he still thinks he'll get it:scared1:
Perfect attendance hope is not lost, Rosie. Tell his educator about his trip and that it's an education one. We did this for Maddie last year and she took photos and a travel journal and she kept her attendance record. It's worth a shot.

Bleh! I'm glad my waiting days are OVER!
We had a horrible time this morning.
Yuck. I hope your day gets better. I don't know what's up with these kids here either. They're sooooo tired every morning and when I ask them to do something, they look at me like I have 3 heads.

Me: What do you want for breakfast? What do you want for breakfast? MADDIE!!!! What do you want for breakfast?

Maddie: Huh?

:rolleyes:

I'm bored too, Jo. I suppose I could find SOMETHING to do, but I'm feeling a bit lazy.
Lessa don't be too tired to keep us udpated on the CRUISE:lmao:
ITA, I'm loving your Cruise TR, Lessa.

Hi Janet! So glad to hear Jimmy's first day went well! :goodvibes We miss you!

Well, our kitchen is officially done. We had our walk through last night with the owner of the company. He wanted all the hairy details of all the ups and downs of our project. We gave him some constructive critisism that he really was receptive to. I'm glad it's over, though. :faint:

I'm really quite bored today. I really need to get back into my routine, but I'm just not that into it. I need some inspiration. Anyone got some to spare? :laughing: I'm making homemade beans to go with taco's tonight. It's Taco Tuesday tonight, except it's Wednesday. :teeth:

Have a great day! :flower3:

I have to say that I agree with T here. :hug:

What a great idea! :thumbsup2 Smart momma! :teacher:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm so tired. I started on this new medicine for migraines last night (Topamax) and the side effects are drowsiness and dizziness. Check and check. I feel really weird. I'm thinking of laying down. :guilty:
I'm also really wanting to go on a cruise. I have read that the only way to go is to pay OOP. The free kids deal is tempting, but it's still over $3000 for K and me. :headache: Also, since I made an ressie at BLT for a week, I have to use those points in 2010. :confused3 I'm not sure what to do. I'm also tempted to do a fall trip because I want to take the kids to see the Halloween decor. The problem is our limited funds. :rotfl: I can't just drop $1200 to fly each trip for a few days, and we can't get a studio with people. So, someone with brain power who isn't tired and loopy- HELP!!! :flower3:
Fly-by post....
JO: I'll check my "stain removal guide" for pollen....:cool1:
Angela: Hope the repairs are done soon!
Dawn: I can't help you. I'm bad at math, remember? :lmao:
Kat: :hug: sorry about things, but I agree with Dawn and T. Trampolining at this point seems dangerous. Getting MORE hurt isn't a great idea!
Sorry everyone else. I'm out of here...
Gotta go do some errands now that my house is clean!
MEL:banana:
So, someone with brain power who isn't tired and loopy- HELP!!! :flower3:
Sorry, I think I'm tired and loopy, too. ;)
So, it's not quite as short as the article I had shown you all, but I think it's doable. My hairdresser was worried about too many short layers in my heavy hair.
I know many of you have seen it on FB, but some may not have:
I need help from a grammar expert. I need someone to proof read a template for me - specifically the use (or misuse) of the words effect and affect.
Let me know if you can help and I will email you the doc. Thanks!!
ill proof read for you. however im not the best at effect and affect. I've always had trouble with it. I just got home and id be glad to help if you want.
