It was a lot of fun, but marc and i decided we work much better with just us too and cant wait to go by ourselves again.
We booked our wedding.

Now we just have to turn in the contract with our deposit and were golden.
Glad you had fun, and congrats on the booking!
Well I started back at school "today". It was just Orientation, I go to my first class tomorrow afternoon. So far so good, let's hope I am feeling the same way by the end of the week.
That's awesome! Yay!

No kidding! I stayed up to watch the entire match.
Me, too!
I'm waiting for the inspector this morning any time between 8-12, but I have the phone number so I'm going to call to see if I can get a more accurate time. After he's finished, I have to wait for the drywall people to fix the walls. Fun day here!
Love that sitting around waiting for people...
**************************************************
We had a horrible time this morning.
Woody - who, of course, wakes up cheerful and singing at 6:30 on the weekends - has been, for all what, 5 days of school?, really resisting getting up. There have been tears, yelling, etc. etc. Fun. Once he has breakfast and so forth, he's fine, wants to go to school, etc., but won't get up easily. We've tried earlier bedtime, but they are already fairly early considering their age, and they just lay awake and pop out of bed when we try for early nights.
So then last night D purposely stayed up really late so that he could sleep in this morning, as he flies to South America this evening and doesn't land until 2:30 a.m. He wanted to adjust his clock, so to speak.
Well, Woody popped right up this morning, but Buzz still made it up a few seconds earlier, so Woody starts yelling about going first to the bathroom. I am trying to keep him quiet, suggesting that he go downstairs to our other bathroom. No dice, he's stomping around and so on. Then, it's supposed to be only a high of 70 today, so for the first time I though they needed long pants for school. I just bought Woody a new pair of basic Hanes sweatpants, and he wanted to wear them. NO to anyone who does, but I just don't like the sweats for school wear. He had some last year that were more of a "tailored" style, and every once in a while those were OK, but I didn't think these were good. So, I admit to not handling it the best, but I said he couldn't wear the elastic ankled grey sweats to school, and he threw an enormous fit, which, of course, woke up D. (And yes, throughout all this, I kept reminding the kids to be quiet because Daddy needed sleep, so it wasn't like he didn't know he shouldn't have been screaming.)
D got up and started lecturing him on pulling himself together in the mornings, not acting up, etc., which needed to be done, but provoked a ton more tears and screaming. D, of course, was most unhappy as he needed to go back to sleep, and that's hard when you're really ticked at a kid.
Then, of course, Woody was running desperately late after all this, so I
had to stay on him to get him out the door on time, which made him mad, too.
Woody is the one who doesn't love change, and I would imagine a lot of this is still because of the newness of second grade, getting back to routine... But even though I get the reason, it doesn't make it better to live through.
I hope D is back asleep - he did go back to bed once I got the kids downstairs.
Gah.
I have that haircut at 10:00, so I need to leave in another hour. For whatever reason, I couldn't fall asleep last night, either - I was actually still awake when D came up at 2:00 - and I would go snuggle with him, but I don't want to wake him up again because I'd have to set an alarm so I could make my haircut.

Maybe I'll curl up on the couch and set my phone alarm.

BBL!
