Ellie's leavers service was fantastic, her class started by singing and dancing to HSM's we're all in this together, then read some memories, then a rap about all the kids in the class, sung our way and other stuff. Half the class were crying, mainly the boys The class also chose 1 girl and 1 boy as best citizen and Ellie won I thne got home to find a letter from Jessica's school saying as she had the most merits in her class she's getting an award and a voucher

hey! We just moved today so its still been hectic. The past 2 weeks have been crazy! Hopefully ill be able to jump back into my routine on here. Unfortunately it may not happen for another week. My parents are coming to help us move furniture this weekend. And i dont get internet until next saturday. Right now i'm just borrowing someone elses. Its really fast!

Just checking in quickly, Ellie's leavers disco was fantastic although she dumped her boyfriend earlier in the day (he was Robin Hood) and then danced with another boy at the disco I even said I'd give her £5 if she went and danced with old BF as he looked sad but she wouldn't I'm now off to her leavers Church service which will require tissues check in later

Aww... Poor Robin. But I'm glad she had fun.

Sweet! I have the "old" 8GB one and it's PLENTY big enough and fast enough.

That's what I figured. I was pleased they still had new ones - the AT&T online store only had "old" 16's that were refurbs and only $20 cheaper than I paid for the new in box one.

No, sadly. And Disboards is one of the least "iPhone-friendly" websites I've tried on my phone. It's do-able, but a PITA.

Yeah, I tried that last night. It seems not great - but I'll be able to check in here and there, at least.

It was 88 at 6am here. We're expecting record highs today - high 90s with heat index approaching 110.

Yuck. It's still only 80 here, and it's nearly noon.

My cousin's coming up form Miami tomorrow to hang with us. I haven't seen her in a couple years, so I'm excited!

Sure, CE... just rub it in to my gapping wounds. See, here in LA, AT&T has a horrible reputation. Verizon is pretty much what most peeps have, well, except those peeps with the iPhone.

I think it's definitely regional to an extent. Everyone in my mom's area uses US Cellular, which you never hear of out here at all.

Not much to report. I'm still looking at my kitchen wondering if the appliances/food/plates/etc. will magically box themselves.

I'm still feeling that way about my jobs needing done today. I think it's that I'm not terribly excited about this vacation. I'm sure it will be fine, but it's not my thing necessarily (I like hotels where people clean for me...) and it's the reason we can't do Disney this year, etc. etc. Plus, I'm not too excited about half the family that's joining us. It's only a few days that they're there, though, so I'm sure it will be fine.

I've been cleaning off and on all morning. I think I'll vacuum and hit the grocery store tomorrow whilst the boys are at the birthday party, or just when D's around, so I don't have to drag them along today. Vacuuming today will just mean dog hair tomorrow, so I'll wait on that. I need to get into the bathrooms to wipe stuff down and so forth, and then, well, pack. I've got laundry in and going.

D & I are going to have a date night tonight. The original thought was to use our college-bound sitter whilst she's still around, but she's busy. So, we're going to try our neighbor, as his mom is home tonight. He's a great kid, and has a younger brother (who's in my yard right now), so he's used to little kids. He seemed willing to try it when I said it's more or less watching a movie and then telling them to go to bed. There's no cooking, bathing, diapers, etc. involved, and his mom's home, so it should work fine.

LOTS of planning is going on with this trip in Oct. I need to do a PTR update today as well.

I just hightlighted the plan and then hit print selection. Mine are in a notebook!

PHEW, I went to the parents open house at Leo's Horse Camp this morning and was it ever HOT! But it was nice to finally meet the inhabitants of the Little Barn - chickens, cow, miniature horses, sheep, goats.

Weather changed again, and it supposed to be fairly nice instead of rain I have me and Jim packed, but Jim still hasn't given me his stuff to pack

Because the 30 kids in Ellie's class have been together for 7 years and are now going off to about 10 different schools. They all think they'll never see each other again yet they all live within about a mile of each other

Then Monday Dad is having his ear operated on, he has a bit of overgrown bone pushing on his ear canal and it needs to be chiselled off The Wednesday Mum is having her wrist done, she has carpal tunnel (sp?) so between them they're going to be useless, not that they live together but anyway

I am finding the drawbacks of a Super WalMart!! They are open 24hours a day AND the girls want to go NOW!!!! I said NO !Judy said NO !but they are Whining !!! I'm waiting for them to tell me how much quieter it will be and how I could shop there now!!!

Did go to Aero tonite .. they had a huge sale got the girls each jeans and 2 shirts for under $40 that is a BARGAIN!! Hit the Deb too and they had a sale too , tha stuff is on layaway!! Thank God Kyle wears uniforms !!!!I did get them both swimsuits for Disney and Steph's is a BIKINI and Sam's is long johns just kidding but it ain't no bikini!!!

Ladies, I am so sad right now. I haven't talked to Chi since Thursday morning before leaving for work. She went to her dads and when I called to talk to her today he told me she was at a friends house. So I called the friend's number and no one answered.

This friend was someone she went to school with in 1st grade when they were living with their dad. I tried my best to go to every school function, every practice, every game, etc. I tried very hard to be nice to the parents, teachers, etc but I always felt I got the cold shoulder from everyone there including this friend's parent and now I can't help but wonder if she didn't answer on purpose.
