It is. I also have to take daily allergy meds, so I have both next to my toothbrush/paste and take them each night after brushing.

DH got an official offer yesterday. It would be a pay cut, but he would get a company car and gas. Those two do not completely offset the pay difference but it makes it darn close. Plus he said he would give DH have of the profit of any additional work he brings to the office. The drive is about 20 minutes closer (we are testing saturday to be sure). And the pay is based on 4 days @ 8-9 hours a day. So overall this is looking better and better.

Tennis was fun and the boys had a good time running around. They wanted to eat there at the club, so we did, but they are huge dirty messes, so we're doing a quick shower, one chapter of Harry, and heading them to bed. Wish me luck in the next 40 minutes or so.

So, let's see, I'm about 2 weeks out from WDW... yep, it's time. Time for us to start getting sick. You know this always happens with me, right?!

I got a call yesterday afternoon from Leo's camp saying that he'd been swinging real high after chugging down some water and threw up; he wanted to go home. Here's the thing - Leo never pukes. For real - only 3 other times in his life has he thrown up. So I knew immediately that, while it may not have helped matters, the swing wasn't the reason. Gramma brought him home and he chilled on the couch all afternoon and evening, eating little and running a low fever. He does feel better this morning - thank goodness!

But.

Now I'm nauseous. I'm not a puker either, so I'll just feel ill till whatever it is passes. Fun.

Oh no! Feel better soon. At least it's a little further away from trip time than normal

We have problems with playmates in our house. It just seems to work better if everyone has a friend. If just one boy is over then everyone tries to get the friend to play with just them and the other boys get jealous and wind up fighting.

Yeah, we get that, too. I meant more to say that it's great that they have a playmate in each other all the time, on the one hand, but on the other, they are better behaved with other kids around and are not used to being just the two of them all day. I am not sure they'd be friends if they weren't brothers - they are just so different. And yes, having one friend is often a problem. The kid last week worked out great, which was a nice surprise.

Well, I drove to MA (the local stores were out of stock) and got myself an iPhone. I cheaped out a bit and got the "older" 16 GB 3G version, not the new speedy one. But the software update is free, so I lose very little in the way of features and I didn't need that stuff anyway - saved myself $50.

Then we went to Target and spent $100.

But that was good, in that we got more stuff for the lake trip and then also the birthday present for the kid whose party is Saturday.

I'm having too much fun playing with my phone, but as it's 6:00, perhaps I should feed my kids.

I agree with Jo. Perhaps showing KC that you'll cut down on the extras in order to make it a cash only trip? Hey, I'm confused, why is your job only for 6 months?

It will be a cash only trip, thats the only way we will go. We can afford it it's just he thinks the $ would be better spend towards the credit cards. The WoD NYC is closing in January, so no more job after that. Thats all the more reason I wanna go down before I am no longer a CM!

I hate it when DH does this (goes back and forth on going and not going). That is why I wound up taking the kids even though he could only go for part of the trip. I just got tired of planning, replanning, then planning again. I do hope you work something out where both of you are happy. If you need any help budget planning perhaps I can help. We spent hardly any money the last several trips.

Usually he is good about it but he suddenly decided to look closer at the finances and now thinks he has it all figured out. lol. I am ALL for ANY tips you can pass on!

Well my dates got approved for the "vacation" in October. Now we just have to convince KC this is a good idea. Once he talks to his boss it'll be real-er for him. Also his friend from work really wants to come on the trip so it's helping KC lean towards going.

He was a very good hubby today while I was at work. He cleaned and had lunch for me when I gto home. He's now at the supermarket and then he's making dinner! I can live like this!

So we changed out Atlantic City trip a bit...we are only staying over Fri night and leaving late on Sat. It saves us all about $60 so thats a plus. It's a good way to start on the road to saving for WDW.

Well, I drove to MA (the local stores were out of stock) and got myself an iPhone. I cheaped out a bit and got the "older" 16 GB 3G version, not the new speedy one. But the software update is free, so I lose very little in the way of features and I didn't need that stuff anyway - saved myself $50.

WHAT!?? NO fair, I want an iPhone now, too! Wish Apple would close the deal with Verizon. That's the only thing holding me back... AT&T. Blech.

It will be a cash only trip, thats the only way we will go. We can afford it it's just he thinks the $ would be better spend towards the credit cards. The WoD NYC is closing in January, so no more job after that. Thats all the more reason I wanna go down before I am no longer a CM!

I finished Lego Star Wars...
Not much going on here. I couldn't fall asleep last night for no known reason - I know I was in bed awake after 1:00 and woke up for a bit at 4:30. I don't know why... So I am tired and grumpy this morning. The boys slept in, and I got up before 9:00 for a change, but took the dog out and haven't done a thing else except move some laundry over and check in here.

I think we're going to shop a bit today - get a few more things for the lake and if any AT&T store here has them in stock, I think I'm caving to the iPhone. I do kind of hope for one of the older ones, though - they have them in stock online, but I really kind of want one for next week, so I can check e-mails and maybe even sneak in here once in a while. The island won't have cable, so I really am not anticipating internet. I don't think I need the new features, and the older ones online are a really good price. We'll see. I think I'll call before heading to the mall, though - I don't need a mall for anything else, so if I can avoid it...

And that's really about all I know. It was sprinkling when I took the dog out, but so lightly that the tree overhangs were protecting even the street from being wet. Yesterday was gorgeous, finally - sunny and about 82 - perfect!

Of course, there are scattered t-storms in store for the entire next week, getting much higher chances as the company rolls in Thursday and Friday. Hopefully the 10 day forecast is inaccurate.

Lack of sleep will make anyone Grumpy! I don't know about your weather people. Ours are usually wrong 75% of the time. I don't see how they can be very accurate 10 days out. Patterns change all the time. I'm wishing you good weather! Glad you got a good deal on an I-phone!

Getting ready to hit the gym in a few, then I've got a dental appt. later this morning. Other than that, it's a chill day.

I have been really busy at work and just not in the mood to get on the computer at home. Chi and Omicron are going to their dad's today for their second long summer visit. I'm not sure what you guys use in regards to your budget but we have this excel spreadsheet we downloaded that you enter in all your debts, and how much you intend to pay each month, and it spits out how long you have left until you are debt free. You could run the numbers with ever how much he wants to put towards debt and again with out that money just to see what difference it makes. Lemme know and I can email it to you.

Had a good evening so far here. D will be home in about 10 minutes, and I think I've got the phone set up to work the way I want (for now, I'm sure I'll find more to mess with...) But I can receive e-mails and read the DIS and FB, so I'm a happy camper. It's the important stuff, you know.

I'm actually finally hot - it's taken until mid-July, but I'd turn the AC on if we had it in the window. Tomorrow's supposed to be 88 - I think maybe I'll have D get it installed. It seems to never fail that his dad and stepmum are here when it's hot and we've not put the AC in. If he does it tomorrow, it would be ready for when we all come back here for a night. And then that will pretty much guarantee that it will be 70 the whole time.

No, sadly. And Disboards is one of the least "iPhone-friendly" websites I've tried on my phone. It's do-able, but a PITA.

I really, really doubt they'll disappear. The company was very good at making things out of Croslite, but very, very bad at running a business. I predict they'll file for bankruptcy and another company will take them over. Nike's at the top of my list.

PHEW, I went to the parents open house at Leo's Horse Camp this morning and was it ever HOT! But it was nice to finally meet the inhabitants of the Little Barn - chickens, cow, miniature horses, sheep, goats.

My cousin's coming up form Miami tomorrow to hang with us. I haven't seen her in a couple years, so I'm excited!

After that, there's only one full week and weekend before WDW!

Ahem. I take the print out and then transfer it to an excel spreadsheet where I shrink it down to say a 4"x4" square, then I print it out on color coded cardstock, laminate it and attach it to a book ring. But that's just me.

Not much to report. I'm still looking at my kitchen wondering if the appliances/food/plates/etc. will magically box themselves. : I've got to head to the mall today and get Evan some shoes and find me a new lip gloss at Sephora. Other than that, another chill day.

Last night Waldo and I were watching LA Ink and these 2 guys were getting tats of their fathers who had passed away. Joking, Waldo asked if I would get a tat of him when he's gone and I said "Sure, dad! I'll get a tat of you in a Where's Waldo outfit complete with striped shirt, beenie and black circle glasses!" Yeah, he didn't think that was funny.


Weeeeeeeell...I suppose I really should work on the kitchen. I'm in total denial... I don't want to open that can of worms today. Maybe tomorrow.
