Does he feel okay?:hug:

As far as I can tell. It's just a whole lot of me asking him to stop doing stuff (mostly a lot of smacking, kicking, jumping on Buzz) and not stopping. Then I ask again, nothing; then I yell :guilty:, and then he throws himself in a screaming mess on the floor, asking why I'm so mad at him all the time. :rolleyes:

Add that into him being an expert on everything, and me apparently knowing nothing, and it's a recipe for a bad day. :headache:

Truly, though it's great that they have a playmate on the one hand, on the other, they are not used to being together all day. Woody just can't keep his hands to himself with Buzz (he is not at all this way with other friends) and Buzz hates it, so they are fighting a lot. When they are in school and see each other awake for about 4 hours, it's much easier than the 12 hours of constant each otherness. Buzz keeps trying to go away on his own and read (he is SO like me) and Woody gets pissy because "Buzz won't play with me, (whine, whine whine...). I really wish a playdate had worked out for today.

Sorry, vent over. ;)

I guess they have a whole rule about texting and flying:rolleyes1

Yeah, his phone goes off, too, even though he's the pilot. ;)

As much as I like working for the store, I am busting my a$$ hardcore and if it's only going to be for 6 months I want it to have a payoff. I feel like the trip is my payoff for all the hard work. I don't mind working at all, in fact I like getting out if the house, but this is physically mo0re than I should be doing and I don't know if I'll stay if there is no real light at the end of the tunnel, ya know?!
How about telling him that you won't buy any non-essentials so no new bags, clothes, stuff etc even meals out and coffees, it all adds up and then add on what you'll be earning and see how much you have :thumbsup2

I want to kill one of my kids today, so I would NOT be taking them along. :rotfl:
:rotfl2:

Happy Anniversary
Jo & David:hug::cloud9::banana::love::cheer2::flower3:
Thanks Mummy Rosie :hug:

Did you hear beck from them?
Not yet but she'll be teaching a class!

Truly, though it's great that they have a playmate on the one hand, on the other, they are not used to being together all day.
I often think it's easier when they have a friend round to play!

The meal was nice, expensive but yummy :rotfl2: Tomorrow is Jessica's birthday and she's decided she's opening her pressies at 6.26am as that is when she was born :rotfl2:

Early update!!

I'll be crazy busy at work tonight!

T is PMSing and procrastinating. She did get a binder going. :hug::woohoo:

V compares horse riding to child birth.:lmao:

CE is unmotivated. Woody is being……….difficult today. :hug: Sorry your day isn't going well. I do hope your get-away goes well!

DAWN is a DVC owner for keeps now.:rotfl:

ROSIE had to deal with a slashed tire on the work van. She has a link to her PTR in her siggie!!!!!! Very nice!!!

JO is getting Ells signed up for singing lessons. They are all going out to celebrate their anniversary!

Happy Anniversary, Jo and David!

Brown people say sorbet? :confused3 :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I am one tired chica! Went to the midnight show of Harry Potter. Ended up runnign into my new friend from work so we hung with her and her boyfriend on the long line and sat together. That made it extra fun! The movie was great! We'll see it in IMAX sometime in the next month.

Rant Ahead:
Before we ran into my friend tho, we were having a "talk" about Disney.

Apparently KC decided to do a budget with an Excel Spreadsheet and after seeing what we owe exactly and what not, thinks we "shouldn't do it". He won't say "NO" because he doesn't really wanna take it away from me, but he wants me to come to his dark side and not go.

I'm really upset about it.

I resigned myself to not going this year, because thats what we talked about. I was ok with it. Then he said yes and I got hyped, started planning, and now he wants me to give it up. Frankly, I feel like crying.

So today I am going to go over exact numbers and make a real number budget for the trip and for savings and bill payment while we save up for the trip. I am determined.

Anyways I have lots of research to do to convince him this is a good idea. :upsidedow

I'd be upset too. Run the numbers yourself and go with your gut.

I don't think I showed you guys this.

Thanks:goodvibes

Happy anniversary to all the love birds!

Thank you:goodvibes

:sad1: Couldn't talk DH into it?
Nope. We went to see dane Cook in atlanta and he wanted that to be his birthday present. I still don't like having to do what he wants for his birthday?????

Hope it works out for the best, whatever the best may turn out to be. :goodvibes
Thanks! He is meeting with him this weekend.

We are going to try virtual public school. The state has contracted with Calvert School in Maryland, where I got #1's curriculum from last year. So they are doing the Calvert curriculum through the state. They stay home...they have an online teacher, plus an at home teacher (me), and the state keeps all the records. Record keeping was becoming a nightmare with the three boys. And, honestly, the day is rapidly approaching where I can't offer them what they need. Virtual school is a step toward a bricks and mortar classroom. As it is, #1 is on the verge of knowing more math than I do.

Oh, and Debra, I have a rising first grader, fourth grader and eighth
grader.
Oops, I said I went to Omicron's 1st grade orientation. but actually it was for Delta's 1st grade orientation. We have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grader this year Plus a preschooler!!

The virtual classroom sounds neat.

Hiya Peeps!

Well the Dis just dumped my whole quote update. I'm not repeating it. What is up with it lately? Very frustrating. If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be here any more.
i hate it when that happens. :hug:

I'm bored. And PMSing. Andy's staying far away from me. Come to think of it, everyone is. :confused3:lmao:
:hug:

Why as a matter of fact, it IS...The Focker's Locker is what I named it!!:lmao:
:rotfl2:

I often think it's easier when they have a friend round to play!

::yes:: Last Thursday, when we had a kid from 9-4, was a dream.

The meal was nice, expensive but yummy :rotfl2: Tomorrow is Jessica's birthday and she's decided she's opening her pressies at 6.26am as that is when she was born :rotfl2:

Oh, lucky you! :rotfl:

Sorry your day isn't going well. I do hope your get-away goes well!

Thanks on both counts. Once we left the house, the day got better.

Oh I love those kinds of days:rolleyes:

Yeah, they're a blast. :lmao:
Nope. We went to see dane Cook in atlanta and he wanted that to be his birthday present. I still don't like having to do what he wants for his birthday?????

Darn that birthday etiquette... ;)

**********************************************
Tennis was fun and the boys had a good time running around. They wanted to eat there at the club, so we did, but they are huge dirty messes, so we're doing a quick shower, one chapter of Harry, and heading them to bed. Wish me luck in the next 40 minutes or so. ;)

Where was everyone last night? Glad I was asleep I would have been bored waiting to chat ;) :rotfl2:

I don't think I showed you guys this.

How funny :rotfl2: Thanks for the anniversary wishes, cute graphic :thumbsup2

Happy anniversary to all the love birds!
Thanks Lessa :hug:

Well she didn't wait till 6.26am, she was in our room fully dressed, breakfast eaten at 6.10am and couldn't wait any longer :rotfl2: I thought she was getting older but obviously not :rotfl2: She didn't get much as we've bought her golf clubs which she already has and is choosing a new phone but she was still excited!

Tonight is Ellie's leavers disco and hopefully it won't rain as the parents are going to sit outside and chat!!!

We call that sorbet, Janet. ;)

Ummmm.....:sad2:

And PMSing. Andy's staying far away from me. Come to think of it, everyone is. :confused3:lmao:

:hug: I feel for ya...The space shuttle isn't the only rocket that launched this week :lmao:and I'm feeling like crap...

So I was hoping, but no. :sad2: Only one strenuous activity I've tried in my life worked the same muscles as riding... child birth. :rolleyes: :faint:

:confused3I got nothin'...I was cut in half like a magician's assistant...:wizard:

Dude - Leo's doing math I don't know, lol!

OMG - it gets worse...2nd grade was mind-boggling for me...not looking forward to 3rd...:sad2:

Just one of the reasons we understand each other so well! :goodvibes Imagine my joy when Leo announced the other night that he had a "story in his head that needed to come out" and disappeared into his room for 30 minutes to WRITE!!!

YAY Leo!!:yay:

:faint: Not the same at all! I need to get LL to add some Italian Ice to her GG order for you. ;)

Mmmm....Italian Ice's RULE

Now I really, really want one. Just to name it "Focker's Locker - the Wannabe."

:rotfl2: I kind of miss my Mouse Gear name though.

Maybe I should get a 2nd one just so I can keep that name too...:rolleyes:

I just got the call that my DVC contract is closing today!

Welcome Home Neighbor!:flower3:

Nope, brown people would call that ice cream. Anything sweet and frozen is ice cream. But I'm a little edumacated, so I know better. It's sorbet. ;)

:lmao:

Good Morning all! Back at work. I have been here since about 7:00. so I am hoping to book out early. We will see.

I started packing for our little Lancaster excursion, Jim starting laughing at me asking why I was packing so early?:confused3

One more day to Friday:yay:

Happy Thursday everyone.

and...

:dance3:Happy Birthday Jess:dance3:

Well she didn't wait till 6.26am, she was in our room fully dressed, breakfast eaten at 6.10am and couldn't wait any longer :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: Please wish her a very happy birthday from Leo and me! :hug:

:hug: I feel for ya...The space shuttle isn't the only rocket that launched this week :lmao:and I'm feeling like crap...
Dudes. Youv'e gotta get on the BCP with no breaks bandwagon - this stuff is GREAT! Haven't had a "that time of the month" in a year. :cloud9:
Ran my case off add-on-itis by Tony last night...he didn't exactly say no...heh heh...now to run it by the little man....
:cheer2: So, how does M feel? popcorn::

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning all! And...
A belated HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Janet and Jim!
So, let's see, I'm about 2 weeks out from WDW... yep, it's time. Time for us to start getting sick. You know this always happens with me, right?! :headache:
I got a call yesterday afternoon from Leo's camp saying that he'd been swinging real high after chugging down some water and threw up; he wanted to go home. Here's the thing - Leo never pukes. For real - only 3 other times in his life has he thrown up. So I knew immediately that, while it may not have helped matters, the swing wasn't the reason. Gramma brought him home and he chilled on the couch all afternoon and evening, eating little and running a low fever. He does feel better this morning - thank goodness!
But.
Now I'm nauseous. :rolleyes: I'm not a puker either, so I'll just feel ill till whatever it is passes. Fun.
Morning :goodvibes
Happy belated Anniversary to Janet and Jim :cloud9: and Jo and David! Sorry I'm a day late.
And happy birthday to Jess :bday: She's 13, Jo?
V, I hope you and Leo feel better. That swing would have done me in. But I'm a puker...in fact, I recognized a garbage can or two in Kat's pictures of Coney Island. :scared:
And LL, what's this about add-on-itis?????
Where was everyone last night? Glad I was asleep I would have been bored waiting to chat ;) :rotfl2:
I finished Lego Star Wars... :rolleyes1 :rotfl:
Well she didn't wait till 6.26am, she was in our room fully dressed, breakfast eaten at 6.10am and couldn't wait any longer :rotfl2: I thought she was getting older but obviously not :rotfl2: She didn't get much as we've bought her golf clubs which she already has and is choosing a new phone but she was still excited!
Too funny. Give her a birthday hug from me. :goodvibes
Tonight is Ellie's leavers disco and hopefully it won't rain as the parents are going to sit outside and chat!!!
Do they dress up a lot, or is it casual? Hope the rain holds off!
I started packing for our little Lancaster excursion, Jim starting laughing at me asking why I was packing so early?:confused3
Are you not going Saturday? :confused:
Dudes. Youv'e gotta get on the BCP with no breaks bandwagon - this stuff is GREAT! Haven't had a "that time of the month" in a year. :cloud9:
On that, I had too much "in between" - if that makes sense without getting too graphic. I now have the only 4 days off stuff and that works great for me. But it's my week, too - can the Fockers affect each other through the computer, even chemically controlled? :rotfl2:
So, let's see, I'm about 2 weeks out from WDW... yep, it's time. Time for us to start getting sick. You know this always happens with me, right?! :headache:
:hug: I would have thought this was too early - isn't it usually about 3 days before? :hug: Maybe in the long run this is good that it's now, (I'm trying to find a bright side) but I hope you both feel better.
*********************************************************
Not much going on here. I couldn't fall asleep last night for no known reason - I know I was in bed awake after 1:00 and woke up for a bit at 4:30. I don't know why... So I am tired and grumpy this morning. The boys slept in, and I got up before 9:00 for a change, but took the dog out and haven't done a thing else except move some laundry over and check in here. ;)
I think we're going to shop a bit today - get a few more things for the lake and if any AT&T store here has them in stock, I think I'm caving to the iPhone. I do kind of hope for one of the older ones, though - they have them in stock online, but I really kind of want one for next week, so I can check e-mails and maybe even sneak in here once in a while. The island won't have cable, so I really am not anticipating internet. :rotfl: I don't think I need the new features, and the older ones online are a really good price. We'll see. I think I'll call before heading to the mall, though - I don't need a mall for anything else, so if I can avoid it...:thumbsup2
And that's really about all I know. It was sprinkling when I took the dog out, but so lightly that the tree overhangs were protecting even the street from being wet. Yesterday was gorgeous, finally - sunny and about 82 - perfect! :goodvibes
Of course, there are scattered t-storms in store for the entire next week, getting much higher chances as the company rolls in Thursday and Friday. :rolleyes: Hopefully the 10 day forecast is inaccurate. ;)
I'll be around here and there! Hope everyone has a good day!
We do too :
:teeth:
I've just been chatting to a friend about singing lessons for Ells, I've emailed the person she told me about already and name dropped, I even said Ellie made her cry at the show on Monday when she sung :rotfl2: Well she did so I thought I might as well say so
Ooh, you should put her on Britain's Got Talent! :thumbsup2 Or American Idol.
Rant Ahead:
I agree with Jo. Perhaps showing KC that you'll cut down on the extras in order to make it a cash only trip? Hey, I'm confused, why is your job only for 6 months? :confused3
Exactly. This is water ice
ritas.jpg
Looks like a slurpee, to me. :lmao:
You are starting to worry me T
Me, too! :confused: Andy thinks I've got Disney burn out. I know that's not it... I think I just have a lot on my plate with the trip, the kitchen, my mom's gimpy knee..... :faint:
As far as I can tell. It's just a whole lot of me asking him to stop doing stuff (mostly a lot of smacking, kicking, jumping on Buzz) and not stopping. Then I ask again, nothing; then I yell , and then he throws himself in a screaming mess on the floor, asking why I'm so mad at him all the time.
Hmmm.... sounds like Evan. He's been really rambunctious (sp?) this week. He's living on borrowed time, let me tell ya!
How about telling him that you won't buy any non-essentials so no new bags, clothes, stuff etc even meals out and coffees, it all adds up and then add on what you'll be earning and see how much you have
Dudes. Youv'e gotta get on the BCP with no breaks bandwagon - this stuff is GREAT! Haven't had a "that time of the month" in a year.
Ok, that just scares me. Where does all the ummm ... residual stuff go? TMI?
Interesting.... :scratchin:
:rotfl2:
********************************************
Well, it's 8:30 and Mads is still asleep.... I'm figuring she's not going to make it to VBS at 9am. :confused3
Getting ready to hit the gym in a few, then I've got a dental appt. later this morning. Other than that, it's a chill day.
You'll all be so proud of me. I got 90% of our stuff packed last night! :woohoo: Just need to double check the toiletries and I think we're set.
The contractor came yesterday and they did a 3D layout of our new kitchen. I'm in love! :lovestruc We gave them the deposit and our start dates is 8/11. We get home from Disney on 8/7. :faint:
Hope everyone has a great day! :flower3:
V, I hope you and Leo feel better. That swing would have done me in. But I'm a puker...in fact, I recognized a garbage can or two in Kat's pictures of Coney Island. :scared:
LOL! Thanks - I haven't had a call yet form camp, so I'm assuming all is well! As for me... interestingly, if I keep eating, I feel better. :confused3
On that, I had too much "in between" - if that makes sense without getting too graphic.
Yep, I know exactly what you mean. And it nearly put me off the whole idea. But my Dr. promised it would stop... and it did! Took about 6 months total, tapering down all that time. :thumbsup2
I think I'm caving to the iPhone.
:cool1::banana::yay: Come to the Dark Side CE! :rotfl:
Andy thinks I've got Disney burn out. I know that's not it... I think I just have a lot on my plate with the trip, the kitchen, my mom's gimpy knee..... :faint:
Exactly my dear. :hug::hug::hug:
Ok, that just scares me. Where does all the ummm ... residual stuff go? TMI?
It doesn't build up in the first place! :thumbsup2 I should serisouly be paid a marketing salary for Yaz - I might be its biggest proponent and loudest voice, lol! Glowing, spot-free skin, no mood swings, no pain and unexpected visits. It's bliss!
Ok, here's the silver lining.... you guys should be better in 14 days, right? :hug:
That's my hope, too! :goodvibes
You'll all be so proud of me. I got 90% of our stuff packed last night!
:eek: You're putting me to shame T! :banana:
The contractor came yesterday and they did a 3D layout of our new kitchen. I'm in love!
Ooo, can we see it?!
:goodvibes Imagine my joy when Leo announced the other night that he had a "story in his head that needed to come out" and disappeared into his room for 30 minutes to WRITE!!! :yay::banana::cheer2:
That is adorable :love:
That sounds really cool, Kate. :thumbsup2 If there were more choices around here I could afford, I might keep B at home longer. Austin's too expensive. She's at the point of needing Algebra and Biology and I'm not interested in relearning all of it. :scared1: I'm excited about school and so is she. I'll focus on my younger two and give them what B got. :thumbsup2
Dawn, you are a great mama!
I just got the call that my DVC contract is closing today! :banana::banana:
Woo Hooo!!!!!
Morning All !!! Had some excitement this a.m. Had to go into work even though I'm OFF !!
Yikes Rosie :hug:
The contractor is coming today to measure the kitchen and bring a cabinet sample, I'm supposed to be doing laundry and organizing our vacation stuff. Big heavy *sigh*. :guilty:
I would love a new kitchen! Are you excited or dreading it?
OMG Deb you're so good, do you want to do my kids rooms too? :rotfl2:
Thank you. They wouldn't like the way I clean. If they can't tell me what it goes to then it is garbage. If it is broken or missing pieces then it is garbage. If I haven't seen them play with it in a while it goes to the top of the closet, then to the barn, then to the goodwill.
We're going out to eat tonight, even though it's our anniversary we're taking the girls, we enjoy their company so it should be nice :thumbsup2
I like our anniversaries to be family celebrations too :goodvibes
Happy belated Anniversary. :flower3:
I
Before we ran into my friend tho, we were having a "talk" about Disney.
:hug:I hate it when DH does this (goes back and forth on going and not going). That is why I wound up taking the kids even though he could only go for part of the trip. I just got tired of planning, replanning, then planning again. I do hope you work something out where both of you are happy. If you need any help budget planning perhaps I can help. We spent hardly any money the last several trips.
It's been a long day. Woody is just being a horrible terror. I do not know what's going on there. :sad2:
:hug:
Good morning Fockers! I am trying to get caught up then I will post my update. Hope everyone is having a good Thursday!
Truly, though it's great that they have a playmate on the one hand, on the other, they are not used to being together all day.
We have problems with playmates in our house. It just seems to work better if everyone has a friend. If just one boy is over then everyone tries to get the friend to play with just them and the other boys get jealous and wind up fighting.
she's decided she's opening her pressies at 6.26am as that is when she was born :rotfl2:
How cute! :cloud9:
I don't think I showed you guys this.
V, isn't that an everyday pill? There is no way I could remember everyday. I would probably wind up with a dozen more kids :eek:
I just recently got the IUD and my face is completely broken out. I've always had problems with my skin so I don't know if it is that or what. But I like the fact that I never have to think about BC!
DH got an official offer yesterday. It would be a pay cut, but he would get a company car and gas. Those two do not completely offset the pay difference but it makes it darn close. Plus he said he would give DH have of the profit of any additional work he brings to the office. The drive is about 20 minutes closer (we are testing saturday to be sure). And the pay is based on 4 days @ 8-9 hours a day. So overall this is looking better and better. :yay:
I have been really busy at work and just not in the mood to get on the computer at home. Chi and Omicron are going to their dad's today for their second long summer visit. Getting ready for VBS at church. Other than that not much is going on. Hope everyone is having a great Thursday. JUST ONE MORE DAY TIL FRIDAY!!
Oh and this is what Omicron said to me last night when he wasn't getting his way:
When I have my own house and you have to live with me because you are so old and I have to babysit you. Then I am going to make all my own rules and you aren't going to get any votes at all!
