Just watched Forrest Gump. Forgot what a great movie that is. Makes me cry every single dang time though! :sad2: Oh and Lt. Dan! Yummy. ::yes::::yes::I think Dawn got sick of me drooling over him in Mission Space too..... :rotfl: Gary Sinise is WAY WAY hot.

No, I don't expect anyone will agree with me. No one usually does....

So, where on earth have our people gone?! It's so dang quiet here. It's creepy..... :dancer: <-----Like that guy.

I'm still here Mel. Just catching up on my Trip reports that I am reading. but I keep checking over here in between reads popcorn::

Oh and I think Lt. dan is handsome too. I think it is his bada** attitude that I am attracted to though :cool2:

Oh NO! I hear them back inside. I wrote too soon. :headache:

Uh, oh!

CE & Janet- I know no difference between Star Wars 1-10:confused3:rotfl: I inly have watched the one with Princess Laia. I even sported the wrapped braids when I was younger. Seriously! :scared:

Here's the deal. The first one made - Episode 4 - came out when I was 5. I truly never saw any of the movies all the way through until I was dating D, which puts it sometime after 5/1995. :rotfl: But now I like them, and yep, all the kids like them, too. I don't mind, because, well, my friends all saw them starting at age 5. ;)

The "new" prequels really kind of stink, in my NSHO. :rotfl:And the animated Clone Wars movie from last year? OMG, it was possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. But the kids loved it.
Great Mouse Detective.....meh. (That's "Kat" speak for BLAH) LOL

But it's different than "gah" which is good. ;)

J Gary Sinise is WAY WAY hot.

No, I don't expect anyone will agree with me. No one usually does....

 You're not Janet. :rotfl: I do think he's hot.

Poor Janet, I'm teasing too much tonight. Love you!

Hi CE!

I have a question for you ladies. I am taking Chi to the Jonas Brothers concert this fall. She wants to get their autograph. Is this possible? What would we need to do to do this? I told her it was very unlikely that we could do this and it might involve waiting for several hours and even then no promises. She said she at least wanted to try but I don't even know where to stand and if we would need to do that before or after the concert?

Oh and since I am taking her this fall my X had to one up me. So he is taking her to see Demi Lavato and bought her back stage passes. :sad2:

I would think that would be tough, but I don't know anything about it. I just read a very nice article in Good Housekeeping about them, but it didn't give autograph tips. Good luck! (and sorry about the ex.)

Debra- I'd try to get on some groupie sites and read up. I'm for sure way out of the "ins" on that stuff. Tink will be a groupie soon enough though. ;)

Hi Fockers! Just playing catch up on here in the wee morning hours. I slept in late this morning and then went and laid back down this afternoon because I had such a horrible headache. I was complaining about the rain a few days ago but wished we had it this afternoon. Not much going on in my household. Hope y'all are having a good weekend. Enjoy your Father's Day.

***********************************************
I went for my annual OB/GYN and it wasn't too good !! I have to have a sono on Monday and have bunch of other appointments !! I'm hoping for the best !! But I seem to constantly have bad results in that department !!

 Hope it goes well.

TINK is screaming at the top of her lungs because her brother had a little bit of orange crush pop (or soda as some of you's ;)call it). Oh my oh my! :scared:

:yay: Another fellow 'pop' drinker. And you's. :rotfl: Poor Tink and poor mama for having to hear the screaming.

Mel....one eyed JOP and a weeping divorcee? Too funny. DH and I did the JOP, too. After our "ceremony" (which was just us :cloud9:) we were on our way to lunch at our favorite restaurant in Georgetown (DC). We got into an accident and spent the rest of the day/night in the ER.

We still curse the kid who hit us.

Oh no! But you had a happy ending, right?

First, the good news! I'm not feeling sick anymore! The reception story:

Glad your feeling better Mel. And wow...what a wedding story! Glad you had a good day, despite the crazy neighbors.

We had a GREAT dinner! I had Ratatouille on a crepe with goat cheese. OMG was it good. KC had duck with a berry sauce that was amazing and Pants had a steak so tender it fell apart in your mouth. A great meal!!!

Sounds delish!

What is everyone planning for Father's Day?

I've got nothing planned. My dad is out in CA so I will call him later in the day. I'll tell my brother Happy Father's Day as well. He's a better father figure to my kids than their own father. The kids are with their dad and I *may* wish him a Happy Father's Day but we'll see what kind of mood I'm in and feel generous enough to say it.

I didn't scrapbook last night... I hung outside with neighbors... in our driveway, drank wine, whilst the kids ran a'muck. Total WT. :rotfl2: The local police car drove throughout the neighborhood and we all laughed, wondering if they would stop and bust up our WT party. They did stop, but to call the kids over for stickers. We all got a good laugh.

:rotfl:

Thinking I'll hit the pool after working out and I've got a nice night out with the girls planned. Tomorrow I'll remember dad with a trip to the beach - his favorite place. :goodvibes

Have fun V!

Here is Jimmy's baseball picture:

What great pics!

Oh and if I may...today I'm doing the

50 day dance

:yay::yay::yay:

All the rabbit stories reminds me of this man who worked for my dad. His name was Wonnie. (Like Ronnie but with a "W"). He raised rabbits. Except my dad refused to pronounce his "R"s around Wonnie. So he would say "Wonnie, those a mighty fine wooking wabbits. You weady to get to wok."

It was embawwasing to say the least.

Sorry, but :rotfl:

Deb said:
yes, blogs came into the court. I've never kept a blog but my X and his XGF did :rolleyes1 Maybe one day I can explain it all in more detail. The judge wasn't happy about them especially the fact that my ex was posting pics of the kids and also his hometown which was very small. One of the pics Chi was all dolled up and looked like Jon Bonet.

 But I understand completely. MySpace was used in my divorce. That is how I first found out my ex was cheating on me and then later on I found out he was engaged before our divroce even was finalized. (He was fighting with me the entire time to NOT get a divorce yet he was engaged...IDIOT! :rotfl: )The ex finally wised up and made his page private so I couldn't see but the girlfriend didn't and I saw everything and recorded it as well. The part that made me the maddest (don't even know if that is a word) was that the girlfriend put up pics of my kids on her MySpace page. Her page was not private and the entire world could get to them. She was told she had to take them down. After that her page went to private yet I could still see her status updates and she still posted everything for the world to see. :sad2:

I forgot to tell you last night what I saw at the grocery store. Please remember this is in rural alabama. I do not live in a big city at all. I saw a man with no shirt. About a dozen tatoos. With a nipple ring. And his keys were hanging from his nipple ring. It was a huge fat ring with several keys on it. It was enough weight that it was pulling his skin. Yuk! I was so disgusted and I consider myself a pretty open-minded person. I asked an employee if they had a no shirt no service policy because it was just too much for me to handle. But alas, he left so I did manage to finish my shopping.

:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

DS had a ball game first thing this am. Apparently he decided today that he was as lethargic as a head of leaf lettuce. He had has a foot issue and can't run right now... but there is nothing wrong with his body or arm! He just laid in out field. :sad2::headache: I kept having to yell, "FOCUS! GET UP! GEt READY FOR THE BALL!" oui, oui, oui...

Awwww...poor kid. I guess he wasn't into it today. We had a few days like that with Lindsey when she was playing.

DH, being the "smart" man that he is, didn't reserve a camping spot for them tonight.

There all sold out.

Go Figure.

The kids are terribly disappointed and have to camp in our yard. There goes having the house to myself. Hopefully DH will learn and next time reserve a spot.

 Hope they are having fun anyways.

Hi Fockers!

 Hi Z!

A Birthday Poem For Someone Over 30

A computer was something on TV
From a science fiction show of note
A window was something you hated to clean
And ram was the cousin of a goat.

Meg was the name of my girlfriend
And gig was a job for the nights
Now they all mean different things
And that really mega bites.

An application was for employment
A program was a TV show
A curser used profanity
A keyboard was a piano.

Memory was something that you lost with age
A CD was a bank account
And if you had a 3 inch floppy
You hoped nobody found out.

Compress was something you did to the garbage
Not something you did to a file.
And if you unzipped anything in public
You'd be in jail for awhile.

Log on was adding wood to the fire
Hard drive was a long trip on the road
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived
And a back up happened to your commode.

Cut you did with a pocket knife.
Paste you did with glue
A web was a spider's home
And a virus was the flu.

I guess I'll stick to my pad and paper
And the memory in my head
I hear nobody's been killed in a computer crash
But when it happens, they'll wish they were dead.

Well craptastic, I sign on for the first time in who the heck knows and see it's Janet's birthday. TOTALLY FORGOT.

Janet, I hope you have a wonderful day and congrats on the 50 day dance!

So how is everyone, miss you all so much. Life just got super crazy.

I had to go to Baltimore for a 4 hour meeting, yes, I live right outside Manhattan and had to take the train to Baltimore for the day, though as I passed through Philly I did wave to Janet, did you see me;)

Now it looks like I have to go to Boston for a day, that's just a sampling how crazy things are.

I also have had an emergency vet visit because Rocky scratched his eye. I am now getting a series of shots in what used to be affectionately known as my good foot. My what is now known as the other bad foot has been diagnosed for what I just had surgery in the other foot.:headache:

Oh and then there was the emergency dental appointment!

Other than that I had my 90 day mark this week and did get my ADR's made, 2 of them I wasn't thrilled with the time, but then saw online was ready and got them through online:confused3

Oh well, I'm happy with what I got especially since it is free dining when I'm there:

Puffy goodness @9:55 morning of MNSSHP, plan on not going to the park until 9:30 just for puffy goodness and maybe hitting DTD for a bit before a lazy afternoon at the resort to rest up for MNSHHP

Sci Fi @12:15 - this is my DHS day, yes even after MNSHHP, I plan on hitting rope drop (makes it easier being at BW) I know I'll only stay until early afternoon, then hit the resort for nap time, may hit AK EMH.

Prime time @5:15 this is for after my Sea World day, I know I won't last past 4 in one park with no break in the Sept heat.

LTT@ 2:45 This is my last full day, either AK or water park, play it by ear. I have been wanting to try LTT for lunch for a while and this seemed like a good time. I won't last all day at either AK or a WP. Probably hit Illuminations one last time that night.

Other than that no real plans, that's right no touring plans, just going with the flow. I guess I have gone enough that unless I'm with a newbie, I don't need a plan, I rather just be there and soak it all up.

What really makes me sad is this will be my last trip until next Sept so I won't be renewing my AP like I normally do this time of year.(expires 9/26)

But the reason I'm not renewing is I am going to Italy in the spring. Just waiting for the Adventures by Disney 2010 schedule to be released in August so I can make my reservation!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay:

I truly have missed you guys and I do plan on doing an update to my DL trip report, maybe even a double.

Love you guys and hopefully life will be a little less crazy!:grouphug:

Good morning ladies

I had a little time and needed to post in a couple of places soo I thought I would come on over here and say hello. Hope all is well with everyone here. Still trying to decide what to do with ds today since it is so nice but I am a little sunburned.

I have decided to let Bug decide what we do what days on our Mother and Son trip. This should be very interesting since he loves KSC so much.

Happy Birthday Janet

I asked DH what he wanted to do for FD. Seeing how I haven't purchased anything for him:rolleyes1 we decided to go shopping after church tomorrow for something then I come home and wrap it so that Alpha and Delta can give it to him when they come back.

Sounds like a great plan!
