In Jim's defense, I liked using my GPS to go to CVS because I got used to what ".1 of a mile" was.
I've never used it, but Mousesavers has some POI you can load onto your GPS for WDW locations.

He dosn't want to know that...he just likes gadgets:lmao: Thanks for the Mousesavers tip though. WIll check it out later!

See you all tomorrow after I sign my soul away to Walt. :goodvibes[/COLOR]

:woohoo:

What the heck is going on around here? I am never the 1st one posting in the morning!!!!!!!!!

Took Jimmy to his first day of camp, he was so excited. It's too bad his allergies are kicking his butt last night and this morning:sad2: On the plus side, one of his best friends is also going to camp with him and is in the same groiup. They were so excited to see each other:yay:

Should be a fairly slow day today since the big boss is out:woohoo:

Hope everyone has a great day today!:goodvibes

Day number 3! :cool1: I am heading out to drop ds off at a book club, take Tink to swimming lessons, p/u ds and go get lunch for all of us, bring ds to swimming lessons, bring Tink to the Derm to treat her Moluscum(sp?)(Yea Lessa & Jo, They found a treatment for it!).

I can't believe that I was on the DIS all day long (and night!) yesterday, trying to catch up. I am nowhere close. Sorry if I haven't gotten to your TR. I did go back and read almost this entire thread.

Where has Katt & Jodi Been? MIA volunteering like me?;)

Good morning!
Well I made it back from the happiest place on earth and I think I have the post Disney blues. I only read this page and am not even going to try to catch up so I will probably end up putting my foot in my mouth at least once.

Angela - did you go to Ole Miss? I went to MSU but dont tell anyone

Kat - looks like you got the Disney job? Congrats and can't wait to visit you at work someday!

I donated mine to the Goodwill. I did keep my veil, and ring bearer pillows (they were my mothers originally, just new fabric ;)) I figured no way Maddie would want to wear it, it was so non-traditional. Can you say 90's bride?:lmao:
Pics?!?! I need to see this!

Hey, no kidding! I attempted to mow our 3/4 acre 21" at a time with our push mower.
:faint: They still make those things?!

Day number 3!
:yay: It's so nice having you around regularly again!

Well I made it back from the happiest place on earth and I think I have the post Disney blues.
 Hope you had a terrific time!

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Happy Monday!

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday... spent the morning at the pool, where I taught Leo how to tread water and he swam all the way across the pool - in the GASP deep end! - for the first time! He's totally motivated by the prospect of being able to do some water slides in WDW come August. ;)

Try again, my laptop died just as I was about to post :headache:

Hey, no kidding! I attempted to mow our 3/4 acre 21" at a time with our push mower.
OMG K a push mower in that heat and sorry about the burn and bites

:headache: Do you get coverage of the Fed Ex golf tournament in Memphis? The course is right behind my parents house.
We do but it's on a channel we don't pay for, doyour parents golf?

Well, I gave goat shots today---always an adventure. Sugar, my "physically challenged" goat, keeps getting weird problems.....and the others butt her all the time. I feel sorry for her but she doesn't like to be by herself either.
Poor thing!

It's from 1994! The thing is so incrusted with bling, pearls and sequins, it could stand on it's own. Nope, I'm not kidding! :scared:
Yep photos please :rotfl2:

Maybe one of the girls would want to wear it:confused3
You never know :rotfl2:

I am off to bed because tomorrow afternoon I have my "new hire" paperwork session at World of Disney! I'm am excited! I was told it a group thing so I get to meet other new hires!
Ooooh good luck!

bring Tink to the Derm to treat her Moluscum(sp?)(Yea Lessa & Jo, They found a treatment for it!).
Fantastic, hope it works!

Fantastic :thumbsup2

David and I attempted to finish the kitchen painting, yep we're still doing it, but the paint had gone yucky, all thick and didn't go on the walls well so we gave up and went for a walk. An 8K one no less :faint: Up loads of hills, I did take photos so I'll try and upload them later :thumbsup2

Good Morning everybody!

So have any of you ever been to Cedar Point? We are going to be heading there at the end of July with my Mom's side of the family. I know next to nothing about the park other than there are a lot of coasters. Any tips or touring suggestions?

He'll have lots of fun with his friend. :thumbsup2

Mitch went to Ole Miss. I went to Tennessee. No need to tell people you went to Cow College. :rolleyes1

Hope you had a great trip! :goodvibes

QVC had push mowers on one day and I thought it would be a great energy saver. Like I'd actually mow! :rotfl2: Then a few days later I saw a news report on how they don't work well on all types of lawns.

Yea, Leo! :dance3: Erica had Reid in the pool and was trying to practice what he learned in Safe Start. He does not like not being in control! ;)

We do but it's on a channel we don't pay for, doyour parents golf?
No, but they do have friends that live on the 17th green so they watch from their porch. Would be nice! :)

An 8K one no less :faint:
Oh my!

I started a new book Afraid by Jack Kilborn so I'm going to get in the pool and try to finish it. If I stay inside, I get sidetracked with other things I need to be doing. Yep, that's my story and I"m sticking to it! :upsidedow

Mitch and I have talked about going but haven't made it yet. Looks like so much fun though! :yay: Where are you flying into?

Hi Fockers!

Sorry for being MIA these past few days. I was spending time with the kiddos and trying to get them all packed up before they left to go with their father for the summer. They left this morning around 5 and I just talked with the ex and they are almost near Nashville. They are spending the summer in Loisianna. It will be a whole new world for the kids being down there. I know it was for me the first time we went there. They'll have lots of fun though.

Not much planned for me today. I have to head out to school to see about financial aid and then also possibly to get my books. I start school next week. :scared1: At least it will give me something to do instead of sitting around this oh so quiet house by myself and the dogs.

So, what is all new around here? Any Kristal updates that I can go back and read. Hope y'all are having a good Monday! :goodvibes

 Hope you had a terrific time!
We did.
:yay: for Leo swimming across the pool

Hello Debra! How was the World?
It was wonderful as expected.

Welcome home Deb and I assume you survived ;):rotfl2:

Thanks! And WOW for the 8000 mile walk. That must have taken a few years

Mitch went to Ole Miss. I went to Tennessee. No need to tell people you went to Cow College. :rolleyes1

Hope you had a great trip! :goodvibes
LOL!! It wasn't my choice. My ex was going there so that is where i went. I hated it and keep very little affiliation with it.

Hi Fockers!
Hi Lori. How long do they stay? Omicron and CHi are going to theire dad's for two weeks starting Thursday then another two weeks at the end of summer.

I need more people on team Janet

Nobody else is THAT crazy. ;)

He has swimming in the morning so he wears his bathsuit, pool shoes, and a Tshirt in the morning and I have to send in a change of clothes, a towel, suncreeen, and a comb. That's it. I love the no packing lunch thing!

Nice!

The owner of the management company and I were talking about where to have future meetings, and I'm working on GF or The Poly. I'll let you know how that works out.

I hope that works out! Don't try the trampolining on him, though. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Wow. It's so quiet. I'm taking a page from CE's book. I cleaned our bedroom so now I am taking a break. Am gonna grab something to eat and then start on the guest room!

Good girl!

This AM was a tough start, but I am relaxing and hope they get under control soon.

Hope you felt better.

Here's a picture of a cute little project I worked on yesterday. I love it.

Very nice!

I need to figure out what the heck to do with my wedding dress.

Mine's at my mom's... :rolleyes1

Well I won my golf, pretty well too 5&4 but the other 4 in my team lost so we're out

It's good that you played well, though.

So much for the movie and dinner. I had a beer, took a shower, through on some clothes, waited on him to do the same, then we headed to Sonic for a quick meal. I was drained. I didn't even try to chat here. Sounds like it was down anyways. I'm soar all over today.

He's finishing up out there today without my help. It's humid again and 80 degrees. He is about done.

Sounds busy, hope work went well.

Can you say 90's bride?

Pictures, please.

Now I look like I have a hickey, some sort of skin disorder, and scratched by the devil.

:rotfl:

Store it at your mother's? That's where mine is.

Good plan... ;)

Well, I gave goat shots today---always an adventure.

I do wish you had video.

It's from 1994! The thing is so incrusted with bling, pearls and sequins, it could stand on it's own. Nope, I'm not kidding!

Yep, must see a picture.

I am off to bed because tomorrow afternoon I have my "new hire" paperwork session at World of Disney! I'm am excited! I was told it a group thing so I get to meet other new hires!

Very good - I hope you're there and having fun right now!

Wow, you're dedicated. Jodi's been super, super busy - keeps saying on FB she'll try to get back over here, but...

Good morning!

Hi, Deb! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Pics?!?! I need to see this!

If we all gang up on her... ;)

Good Morning everybody!

Morning, Lessa!

I started a new book Afraid by Jack Kilborn so I'm going to get in the pool and try to finish it. If I stay inside, I get sidetracked with other things I need to be doing. Yep, that's my story and I"m sticking to it!

Works for me.

They left this morning around 5 and I just talked with the ex and they are almost near Nashville. They are spending the summer in Loisianna.

Kristel did an update a page or two ago.

Hi, gals! (and guy, if Mr. T's around...)

So, yesterday was fairly laid back, but I just wasn't on the computer much. D & I got up late-ish again and then we took the kids to see Night at the Museum in the early afternoon. Then, they played outside (because the rain had stopped - temporarily, as it turned out) for a while with the neighbor and we grilled up some salmon.

D & I watched "Burn After Reading" - which was OK, but could have been better - and then went to bed a little earlier than usual, as he had an early show time this morning.

He's just gone for the day, but it's a back after dinner type trip, not like all of them last week when he got home by 3:30 or so.

But, when I called him this morning, he was unhappy because his car was giving him awful fits on the way to work this morning. :headache: I hope it makes it home - I have an appointment for it tomorrow now, but we don't need this right now. Sigh. We are beginning to accept that the van is going to need replacing within the next year - we didn't want his car to go, too. Hopefully it's something relatively basic and inexpensive. :sad2:

I don't know too much else. I wound up on the phone for quite a bit this morning after tennis talking to the other room mom in Woody's room, trying to plan out what to bring and whom to call for the end-of-year party a week from today. I think we have a plan, so that's good. I need to make a couple of calls to other parents, but just two, so it's not bad.

I'll be around this afternoon, some. I may play some Wii or read some, though.

Hope everyone's having as good a Monday as possible! :grouphug:

Afternoon! :goodvibes

T, you can't tease us like that. We must see the dress! DH and I were married in the Rockville, MD county building by the JOP. I wore a terra cotta colored dress from the Gap. It's up in my closet....a few sizes too small. :upsidedow

CE, hope the car is okay. Those unexpected expenses are the worst.

Not much going on here today. Laundry...and my dad is coming on Wednesday for his quarterly visit  So I'll be cleaning the guest room and mentally preparing ;)

Hope everyone has a great Monday!
:flower3:

Hello all...drive by while I have 15 extra minutes before I leave. I will surely get there stupid early but thats better than late , right? I am slightly excited. It's only paperwork but I can't shake the whole "I work for Disney" thing!!!

See y'all tonight!

Mitch and I have talked about going but haven't made it yet. Looks like so much fun though! :yay: Where are you flying into?

Not flying, we are driving to Toledo which is where our relatives live and then Cedar Point is about an hour drive from there. I have only been once but that was back when I was really little so I don't really remember it at all. I just remember Alek throwing a fit because he wasn't tall enough to go on the coasters. :rotfl:

:woohoo: Have fun today!

I am going to have to look into that drug. Is it new? I currently do Zyrtec, Nasonex or flonease & patenal. They aren't cutting it!

!

I had been on Zyrtec for almost 10 yrs (and shots for 5) so I needed something new.

He let me sample Xyzal and Patenase (a new steroid nose spray) and I felt better after 1 day. Using Nasocort in the morning too. I don't care for Flonase although it's generic now.

I

Ahhhhh, that explains the goat wrestling!:rotfl2:

.

.......workin' on the video! :lmao:

CE, hope the car is okay. Those unexpected expenses are the worst.

Thanks. It's not that we don't have it, but after buying the boat, etc., I didn't really want to watch our savings sink again so fast. ;)

Ok... you guys asked for it! :lmao:

This is just a snap shot from someone's camera. My professional photos are put away. That dress is frightening! :scared: See all the lace applique? I had them add MORE bling to those. And the train is INSANE! I had crystals added to all the way up to the butt bow. YES, I said BUTT BOW. I don't know what I was thinking. I think it weighed 50 pounds. :faint: Oh and the petticoat was sewn into it, so yes it really did stand up on it's own. They had to put it over a chair, so I could climb from the bed to the chair and then get down. It was a riot!

weddingphoto-1.jpg

Yes, yes I did have a few glasses of champagne before heading down the 2 mile aisle. :rolleyes1

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I cannot imagine you picking ANYthing to wear with a butt bow T! But you clearly outshined all the added bling, beautiful lady! :goodvibes

That bouquet is the size of my first car, BTW. How heavy was that sucker?!
