Girls, Girls! Tink has simply dropped to the ground in a panic attack of utter proportions! I have never seen her like this. The treatment they put on her muluscum (sp?) (wart like virus that is little bumps on her) is blistering up each bump and she is freaking out! I am sure it is discomforting, but I mean we are in total screeming at the top of her lungs, running... When I finally calmed her down she told me that her throat hurts from the bumps. I told her that her throat hurts because the she was screaming as loud as she possibly could. Hoping we make it through the night.

D made it home with the car, but it was a near thing. We hope that it will start in the a.m. to get it to the workshop. He wound up having to drive home all the back/surface roads, because he couldn't maintain highway speed. He said he was fine at 40 and under, though.

Anyway, I would normally just take a quickie shower before heading out in the morning, but I won't have time if we need to take the car in before I head out for the day. So, I'm off to shower... Have a great night!

I don't want to push, and to each his own, but I totally disagree with KJJ - just keep in mind that many of us loved it. I promise, my kids did, too. The elements in the list she posted are there, but frankly, they're there in nearly EVERY Disney movie - you can look at The Lion King and see many of the same elements. (Trying to kill the "kid", characters falling to their death, Death, etc.)

There are many, many funny moments, too, and some super touching ones. I definitely thought there was "joy" in the outcome. Just my $.02 - no offense intended to those who don't like it.

I agree! I really enjoyed it a lot. It was suprising the stuff in it, but i loved the story of it and def cried happy tears by the end.

So my hour and a half of Disney was cool. Paperwork- meh. I was def the oldest one there and the only married one. Most were like college age kids. When they asked who has been to any Disney Park me and 2 other people raised their hands....there were 9 of us in the "class"!! So stupid me says "I have been there enough for all of you don't worry".

Then we had to get our lovely "costumes" (note sarcasm). Polyester at its finest. Needless to say the pants run 4 sizes smaller than you actually wear so thew size i need was astronomical and they have to order them for me from Florida. I was a tad embarrassed but at least they will fit. The shirts are stretchy mock neck spandexy shirts. Not sexy. Clingy is a good word. The girls are showcased, not by choice.

The paperwork we got was in a neat Disney Careers folder! Inside I was excited. It was neat stuff. I have some reading homework to do in it. Now I wait until my pants come in or the paperwork is done, then I start. I'll take some pics of my stuff tomorrow so you can see the polyester goodness.

I then went out to lunch/dinner with Pants and then went to get KC. He wanted to go to Old Navy because they are having a 1/2 off ALL MENS stuff so we got him some shirts and a pair of jeans and I snagged me 2 mens tees for $6.

Anyways off to read and crash out! Night all!

True... all good points. But I still feel "meh" (to use Kat's word!) about the movie. It was never really on my list to see.

Hi Lori. How long do they stay? Omicron and CHi are going to theire dad's for two weeks starting Thursday then another two weeks at the end of summer.

I wish ours was like yours...2 weeks at the beginning and 2 weeks at the end. Instead they get 6 weeks all at once. He's supposed to have them until July 27th. He has a horrible track record though and will most likely bring them back early. I will enjoy my 'me' time though while I've got it.

Hello all...drive by while I have 15 extra minutes before I leave. I will surely get there stupid early but thats better than late , right? I am slightly excited. It's only paperwork but I can't shake the whole "I work for Disney" thing!!!

Stitch's SuperSonic Celebration at the Magic Kingdom is expected to close within the next two weeks. The show has only been open for around 6 weeks, but has failed to win over audiences. The main criticisms voiced on our discussion forums and review pages are the total lack of shade for the guests and a poor story line. It isn't clear yet what changes will be made to the show, but with the facility that was built, you can expect some kind of rework or new show to appear quickly.

When it's just the cats and me, they follow me around the house, so I think they want conversation.

We have 2 dogs and 1 cat and they all take turns. Our little one follows me during the morning/afternoon, the lab follows me in the evening and the cat follows me around late night. Worse than kids!

Are you nervous to be without the munchkins for a few months?

I'll be going to school for medical assisting. And yes, I will be nervous to be without kids, especially since they are in LA and I'm all the way up here in OH. Driving alone takes 19 hours. But I know they will enjoy the time with their father and I will definetly enjoy my well deserved 'me' time.

Great wedding photos everyone. You all look beautiful! Here is my dress...

Not the greatest shot but this is the only one I can find here at my parent's house. All my professional ones are in storage in FL/LA/MN/God only knows where my ex has them??? Like I really want them now though. My dress though is still here at my parents in one of their closets. No way in heck I would fit in it now though. LOL We eloped in June '99 and had our larger wedding in Feb '00.

Had a good day today. Finally registered for my classes and bought my books. I forgot how much those thongs cost! I'll only be taking 2 for the summer...a math and computer class.

The kids made it to Nashville and will be spending the night there. When I called to talk to them tonight the ex sounded tired and exhusted but the kids sounded like they were boucncing off the walls. DR actually sounded out of breath on the phone and I asked if he was jumping on the beds and he said 'YES!' Well, I've been there, done that before with them and I'm very glad it's him and not me.

Let me add that there was a complete lack of Joy in this movie-unlike Ratatouille, where Remy found Joy in cooking and you felt his delight-you never felt delight because there WAS no delight.

Oh wow, I felt the total opposite! Up touched me in ways few other kids' movies ever have. FWIW, Leo is an incredibly sensitive child and absolutely adored the movie. He just didn't get some things, like the miscarriage, but at the end leaned over and whispered to me, "Mommy, the man was feeling really sad because he didn't have Ellie anymore, and that boy needed a friend. Now they have each other and they're happy, right?" Oh yeah, he got it.

Loving all the wedding pics! I didn't have one - we just went to the courthouse. But I wore a fabulous hat.

Morning All !! I am not posting any wedding pix , for 1 Iam divorved and 2 they are all black and white and not on cds ! Was a LONG time ago!! My dress was hand made (not by me ) the material was on saleI was married at the church where Henry 8th sis was buried ! Just a piece of useless trivia !

Now to the Judy update !! She is at the Hospital today for her first check up !! She is eating most everything I have given her .. so far pork ( pureed), hamburger , and chicken have gone down ok a well as green beans (pureed ) scrambled eggs and yoghurt !! So far the only thing that hasbothered her and this blows my mind is JELLO!!! She thinks sh'e lost 9 # but today will be the official weigh in !! She still has pain in the surgery area and a gas pocket in her shoulder which gives her the most pain , again go figure !! I hae been doing percussion therapy on her which basicaly means I get to beat her up!! She says it does help!! Willpost after se returns as long as it is before I leave for work!!

I love seeing the wedding pictures. I have some somehwere in my closet. I wonder if my new printer has a scan function? We were married in '96, so I have the typical poofy sleeves and sparkles sewn on. I think I had a butt bow too.

I think we're going to head over to the library today. My mom took the kids when we first got here and now we can't find the stupid DVD she let A get. I wouldn't even let him watch it, so now it's late and we can't find it. I didn't want them to get books and stuff because I was worried they'd misplace them when the house was torn up and now they have.

I'm hoping to have a quiet day at home...

Doctor calls her his ROCK STAR!!!!!He said she wa the talk of the floor when she wa up and walking the first day!!!She did loose 9# and the pain inher left shoulder is "gas" he said everyone is different and h diaphragn is "CONNECTED to HER LEFT SHOULDER " he said like the song 'The Hip bone's connected to the ......"She can start to excercise mors like bike riding etc and he wants her to loose another 40 # by end of summer !! She is clear for work next Monday!!YAHOOEY!!

Not much going on here today. I had to wait around for the cable guy to come this morning. Our box was acting all wonky so they had to switch it out for a new one. Other than that I got nothing.

I had a long reply typed out this morning, and the server went "poof!" and that was it.

So, for anyone who's posted their dress, I loved them.

There was more, but I've forgotten.

The car is going to be bad. It's the catalytic converter, which apparently just broke apart. IF it broke and then pieces got sucked through the pipes and exhaust, we'll have to replace that whole thing, too. Sigh. They're going to do the converter and have a look at the exhaust, and call us back. Gah.

Tennis was good, though.

I am being appreciated (not just me, all volunteers ) at the school at 1:00.

I don't know much else. D says he doesn't mind being stuck at home whilst I go to school. If they have to do the exhaust system, he won't get it back until tomorrow, which might mean that he drops me at Field Day and I try to find someone to get me home.
