Nicest Marriott brand hotel or resort?

So we racked up a lot of Marriott/Starwood points over the past many yrs not having used any for a long time, and decided to use them in Orlando area. So question, if you could stay at any Marriott hotel resort etc in the Orlando area, which one would you stay at? Or even in Florida anywhere bc we could be open to other areas. We like nice places, and pretty property with nice foilage etc, (coming from cold NY suburbs lol). It is just husband and I. Doesn't have to be a Marriott but a Marriott property where we can use our points. We used to travel there a lot when it was Starwood and I know they were Westin's and Sheratons but not sure what other Marriott properties are in the area. Or aware of all that are Marriott properties. Thanks.

Same as Goofy Dad: if you're going to Disney parks, even though it might not be the absolute nicest, I would use the points at Swan Reserve, because that way you get Deluxe benefits. And it's still pretty nice. Otherwise, JW Marriott or the Ritz.

Play around with that to get a feel for the different Marriott brands. Luxury are Ritz, St Regis, JW, The Luxury Collection, W and Edition.

Points are dynamic now with Bonvoy so prices for the same hotel can be all over the map depending on the day and the demand for it in that moment. Since they’ve gone dynamic point value has seen rough devaluations so book sooner rather than later! If you’re really drowning in Bonvoy points don’t forget you can transfer to numerous airlines at 3:1 if that’s your thing.

While JW Bonnet Creek is nice, if you’re doing parks I’d do Swan Reserve. You can’t beat the boat access to EP & DHS.

Marriott also has several timeshare resorts in Orlando you could likely book if you want more space than a little hotel room.

It boils down to whatever you’re doing in Orlando too. If you’re going to be park heavy, perhaps consider either Swolphin or the lower tier Marriott hotels, including the ones at Flamingo Crossings. If you’re considering non-Disney stuff altogether, definitely go all out and try the World Center Marriott.

If you enjoy a great resort pool/water park experience the Orlando world center marriot is a great option. It’s a fantastic resort to lounge around by the pool with some great slides/rides for a hotel “water park”. The resort also has a lot of other great amenities (restaurants, spa, golf etc)
