Played a practise round today with David ready for the club match on Sunday, it didn't rain so that was great! Tomorrow I have the ladies invitation, I've invited my friend who I know from David's group lessons that Jess and her son go too. So hopefully it'll be a nice day

The renovations and flower garden sound great! I am ashamed to admit that I have a Graduate Degree from the ScottNY School of Creative Modification or Your Vacation, with a minor in Cancelling and Rebooking .

Just got back from taking the boys to a friend's pool for the afternoon and now it's chucking down rain.

It's about to rain here too! No pooling for me over the weekend because of spotty rain and thunder. I went to the doctor today and she told me to exercise and lose weight, yes, you're right, and not to tan. I put on sunscreen every time. I know she's right, but tan fat looks better than white fat. Not to mention she's naturally tan.

I'm waiting for Reid to get home from school since he was out of town all last week. We're leaving for Atlanta Wednesday morning because M has a business trip. Hopefully he can slip away and we can go to a Braves game. One benefit of the economy is we can get tickets from the box office and not a scalper.

Internet down again and without Judy home to fix it we couldn't !! She came thru the surgery well is in a lot of pain and stressing about the kids !! She wasn't happy when I asked her how many cords should be plugged into internet box as the girls had been trying to fix itThen Kyle went to a kids house after asking me and all the kids saying he went there all the time WELL he doesn't !!!!But she called him at the kids house and all is well !!So she told me to go to the library and Dis for a while as Kyle will be home later and is fine !! So I will hopefully be around tomorrow !! I am calling verizon again once shes checked all the connections and gettin a Tech out to check the system as it goes down way to often!!
This a.m at the Hospital we were greeted by "Michael in a Tux who took Judy to her room and was awesome !! Then came the drama !!!Judy was super upset as her gown showed her *** and had me get a smaller one and then put the other on as well !! I was rolling And before leaving Steph got super upset at her Mom leaving and Judy cried all the way there !! Once I called after the surgery Steph is back to the OBNOXIOUS Teen !! Chat tomorrow !!

MEL says Gus is on a different antibiotic for strep. SD doesn't think it is right for the school to save the hardest stuff for last. I agree with SD. I hope this works for Gus.

LORI is blaming the ex for nightmares.

V got her Keen sandals and loves them. She has been missing her baby. He goes to horse camp this week. How about a pic of the sandals?

SLATE has almost everything for a salad in her back yard. YUM!

KAT got a call from the World Of Disney store. They have an opening. She gets to interview for it on Wednesday at 11am. I'm so happy for you. Good vibes coming your way!!!

ROSIE is having internet trouble. Too many wires. Judy didn't like the gown they gave her at the hospital. Too breezy for her liking. How is she?

Just tucked Gus into bed. He's going to school tomorrow. His fever never came back. He ate some rice and a banana. Not tons, but at least it's something. He has had two doses of the antibiotic.
I told him I will only be 10 mins away at the gym if he needs me, so he can call if he wants. Hopefully, he will make it through enough of the day to get some yearbook signings.

I am about to have a BIG glass of wine and some chips. I am tired! Star Trek Next Gen. just started and I am going to watch it.

Tonight was a much better baseball game, which was good. I read through, but didn't quote - luckily, y'all were not very chatty today.

D never ended up flying today - he was supposed to pick up a plane from maintenance, but it wasn't ready. He's flying tomorrow, though.

No cucumbers were ready today. I should have about 5 to pick tomorrow. I did buy another peat starter tray and some green bean seeds. In 7-10 days I should have more things ready to plant outside...if this freakin heat wave doesn't kill them.

First Judy is still okay !! In pain but okay !! She was up and walking a few times today !!They really push that , it is something that they have pushed in England for many many years and just recently seems to be catching on here !!I am a firm believer in moving after surgery it speeds recovery a lot!!
Second YAY!!!!! For Kat They will be Crazy if they don't hire you!!!! This is just perfect .... a Dream Job !! Well internet is back up we figured someone had a few wires crossed So our phone and laptops are now working !!

Im back!

now i need to be gone again to go study!
we got our nails done saturday and im having a difficult time typing.

Last night was my friends 21st and so was so drunk at applebees. Very loud and screaming girls girl too. She announced to everyone that she had to go pee, and then made it a note to tell our waitress. She wanted to be spoon fed at one point, and started bawling when brad(fiance) said no. It was fun, but we had to drive home to davis this morning and now i have to get in the study zone!

Not much going on around here. It's very yuck - supposed to rain all day and not get above 58 (it's 57 now - actually supposed to cool off and then warm back up...)

The baseball game last night took the whole two hours, so by the time we got the kids in the car, showered, and to bed, it was pretty late for them.

No one (including me) wanted to get up this morning. Poor D had to get up around 4:00... So, I made the kids a deal that they could have a "night off" of activities, and I'll take them to tomorrow's tennis class, rather than today's. It works for me, too, so...

D's just flying to NJ, so I'm not sure when he'll be back. I think he has the CEO today, and I don't know if it was one meeting and then home, or a whole day of meetings/dinner and not back until late. (They fly to NJ and then the guy takes a heli to Manhattan...) At any rate, I think we all could use a day where we're not scrambling to get somewhere fast.

I'm off to team tennis drills in a bit, but that's all I have going on today. I think I might stick chicken and noodles into the crock pot. I tend not to use it as much when it gets to spring/summer, but today feels like a good day for it.

I'll check back after tennis! Hope you all have a great start to the day.

Morning all! It's absolutely gorgeous down here this AM... cool breezes and sunny!

And I'm stuck inside. It was very tempting to get out with Leo at Horse Camp, hee hee.


May I vent about the ex? He took Leo to camp yesterday and A.) forgot to put in sunscreen, so Leo went all day without, and B.) packed this for his lunch: chips, "fruit snacks" (read: candy), and Jello. Yes, that's it. The poor child was famished by the time I picked him up. Who would ever think that's a good lunch for someone swimming, riding and tending livestock all day in 95 degree weather?! Gah.


As requested, these are my new sandals:

Rather like Crocs, I think they fall into the "so ugly they're cute" category, lol!

The poor child was famished by the time I picked him up. Who would ever think that's a good lunch for someone swimming, riding and tending livestock all day in 95 degree weather?! Gah.

Those are the only DIS friendly things I could come up with right now.

Linds is at VBS this morning and DR and I are home alone again. I need to get the toy room straightened out. Its not too bad and won't take long so I'm happy with that.

Later on, if it doesn't rain, I told the kids they could ride bikes in the driveway and we'll play in the hose. I usually wait until after dinner when the sun is starting to go down and we have shade out front.

My ex finally made up his mind and will taking the kids for the summer. In one way I'm happy to be getting a break but I will be missing my babies so much! He's to have them for 6 weeks but with his track record I bet he'll have them back after a few weeks. So they will probably be leaving Sunday/Monday.

Surprisingly, quite a bit! It's so open, aside from that little part, that it stays nice and airy all the way down to my toes. And it's a wide, roomy toe box like with Crocs, which helps, too.

I could've used some of those smileys last night as a I struggled to find Leo-friendly words with which to respond to the news, lol!

My ex finally made up his mind and will taking the kids for the summer. In one way I'm happy to be getting a break but I will be missing my babies so much! He's to have them for 6 weeks but with his track record I bet he'll have them back after a few weeks.
