I have a vertical veggie garden going in the back yard (been on Living With The Land ride one too many times ) and I think I may have some teeny weeny squash and cucumbers growing on it, definitely have beans.

I planted a bunch of mammoth and american giant hybrid sunflowers but the :headache: rodents ate them before they germinated so I used some little peat pots and put them in some leftover clear salad containers and germinated two boxes of them on the dining room table. I'm debating how big they should get before I put them out in the backyard. It's late for me to be putting them out but I figured why not?

I went to a zumba class this morning and they had a lot of newbies, which is ok, I stand in the back row so I tend to get the newbies next to me, and I don't expect them to know how to do it well :dance3: (I've been going for 6 months and I still constantly mess up-I don't have the confidence to move out of the back row) but the lady next to me wasn't even trying and made a big deal every time she messed up, which threw off everyone around her. I wanted to throw her out the window. (they don't have a smilie for that).

My DD10 has a leopard gecko and we've discovered we're now having to go buy crickets all the time. Yuck. Yuck. Yucko. Animal tally in our house currently is 1 dog (mini poodle), 1 cat (polydactyl pound kitty), 1 gerbil (oldest gerbil EVER), 1 leopard gecko, 2 betta fish, 4 guppies, and a bunch of fish in the 75 gallon tank. Did I mention my husband isn't an animal lover? He's like, is there a room in the house that DOESN'T have an animal or their gear? Nope.

Good Morning !! Heard from Judy this a.m. she is feeling much better , the pain level is down and she seems much happier !!

I'm glad she's feeling better! :goodvibes

May I vent about the ex?

Of course...

He took Leo to camp yesterday and A.) forgot to put in sunscreen, so Leo went all day without, and B.) packed this for his lunch: chips, "fruit snacks" (read: candy), and Jello. Yes, that's it. The poor child was famished by the time I picked him up. Who would ever think that's a good lunch for someone swimming, riding and tending livestock all day in 95 degree weather?! Gah.

Good grief!

Not much going on today. The termite guy is coming....and I need to weed the cutting garden. That's about it. Thrilling, eh?

Have a great day! :flower3:

I would guess that at least you CAN get outside - it is indeed still 57 and raining here. ;) Have fun!

My ex finally made up his mind and will taking the kids for the summer. In one way I'm happy to be getting a break but I will be missing my babies so much! He's to have them for 6 weeks but with his track record I bet he'll have them back after a few weeks. So they will probably be leaving Sunday/Monday.

Hope y'all have a good day!

Wow. I'm glad on the one hand that he FINALLY made a decision, but that is a long time.

Antoher crazy busy day here at work. I hope you all have a great day. I will try to check in later.

It's been a long time since you've had any other kind.

Somebody fill me in....why didn't Janet like Up? :confused3

Because she's crazy. ::yes:: :rotfl:

I think she said she thought it was boring. (See, I told you, she's crazy. :rolleyes1)

Good thing we like crazy around here. :goodvibes Love ya, Janet!

Cool! I was so sure that once we bought a house, I'd have a big veggie garden (my parents have a huge one in IL, so I was all gung ho.) Sadly, though we have an acre, about half of it is wooded, and the only place in the sun is the front yard. I just don't see tearing up our rather expensive grass to do a veggie garden there. Sigh.

but the lady next to me wasn't even trying and made a big deal every time she messed up, which threw off everyone around her. I wanted to throw her out the window. (they don't have a smilie for that).

:rotfl2:I'm sorry. But I like the smilie comment. I would guess you like the zumba. They offer it at my gym, but I've not ever done any of the group classes. I used to just do the equipment, then I started the tennis... :confused3 What is it like?

It's sooooo much fun!:woohoo: It goes by so fast you're done before you realize it. Some lady burned 1150 calories this morning!

That zumba looks fun! i should look for it too.

Our house is pretty much like that right now too. twice as many animals as people. 2 cats, guinea pig, and puppy for only 2 people.

have a great day everyone!

I wanted to buy a DVD for home for the girls and I to do, but I'm lost on what would be good.

It looks like the DWTS Latin Cardio got good reviews, so I may buy that. The girls' dance school has Zumba, but I'd rather do some at home until I'm less jiggly! :lmao:

I know she's right, but tan fat looks better than white fat. ;) Not to mention she's naturally tan.
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

She came thru the surgery well is in a lot of pain and stressing about the kids !!
I'm so pleased!!!

JO is golfing. Good luck with the ladies invitational and the competition this Suday!
Thanks

Woooooohooooooo

Last night was my friends 21st and so was so drunk at applebees.:headache: Very loud and screaming girls girl too. She announced to everyone that she had to go pee, and then made it a note to tell our waitress. She wanted to be spoon fed at one point, and started bawling when brad(fiance) said no. :scared: It was fun, but we had to drive home to davis this morning and now i have to get in the study zone!:teacher:
Nice :sad2:

This morning I'm getting new hair. Actually just new colour it depends on what Jacque wants to do. Nothing too crazy though. I think I want to let my hair grow, not sure how long so we'll see. :goodvibes
Photos please!

No one (including me) wanted to get up this morning. Poor D had to get up around 4:00... So, I made the kids a deal that they could have a "night off" of activities, and I'll take them to tomorrow's tennis class, rather than today's. It works for me, too, so...
Enjoy :goodvibes

:rotfl2: And it looks very high impact :faint:

It was my ladies invitation golf comp today and the rain stayed away :yay: It normally takes me about 3.5 hours to play my course but today took 5 hours :faint: I played good though, to a 7 handicap, and my partner and I came third (well joint second) and we won a dress carrier cover thing, golf towel and padded coat hanger. Not really my style but handy so :thumbsup2 Oh and I won a box of balls in the draw :thumbsup2:rotfl2: I'm shattered now though and need an early night!

Sounds like a good plan to me! Let me know if you find a good video you like!

Me too. My gym doesn't have Zumba yet, but that looks fun! I went to the gym this morning. I did 6 miles on the bike and then 10 minutes on the elliptical. That's pretty good because the last time (which was the FIRST time) I got on the thing, I only made it a minute. I actually felt like I might have a heart attack so I got OFF it. :scared1: This time I made it 10 minutes, and I was SO excited!

Next time, I think I'll try to make it 15.

Anyhow, Gus made it through is last full day of 5th grade. He went to his LAST recess, ever. He came home and had chicken rice soup and then went back to school for the end of the day. He's doing great. :goodvibes Tomorrow is the 5th grade picnic and then graduation on Thursday! Then we're DONE till Sept!!!!! Yahoo!!!!! I think I'm looking forward to summer more than they are! :rotfl2:

Hope you guys are all having a great day. The weather is AMAZING here today. Hold on CE! It's coming your way!

Afternoon Fockers!

I didn't really read much, I skimmed. I wasted my morning watching The Bucket List...now I'm all mellow feeling. Good movie tho, I had never seen it. I got HBO again so we can watch True Blood so I am trying to tape and watch movies so it doesn't seem like a waste of $$.

Anywho I have a million little things to do today. I am trying to get myself all ready for my interview tomorrow (do my nails , pick out the outfit, pack a purse, etc) and there is stuff around the house to straighten up too.

Anyways I'll be in and out.

Happy Tuesday!

I need a vacation ::yes::

Because she's crazy.

====================================

So reorganization is in full swing and I am trying to move over 250 people around this building to make them all fit...some people may be sitting under a tent on the roof:rolleyes1.

We have a presentation to all the supervisors on Thursday, so everything has to be done by then. My co-workers think I am crazy because I brought in colored pencils and color coded each unit on each floor. I may be crazy but it works ::yes::

Construction happens on June 27th, which means I have to work on a Saturday (on the same day my mother is coming home), then all the physical moves will begin on the 30th. ADfter the ohysical moves, then I have to work with the phone compnay and get all the voicemail boxes moved to everyone's new location.

Oh, it's gonna be a fun couple of weeks:sad2:

In the meantime we have Jimmy's move-up day on Friday, his parents are coming over for dinner to celebrate Jim's birthday and Jimmy's "move-up" to 1st grade on Saturday, and Jimmy has a birthday party on Sunday.

Can someone please tell me when I 'm going to get time to clean my house before my mother gets here :faint::scared1:

I know she's right, but tan fat looks better than white fat.Not to mention she's naturally tan.
I say the exact SAME thing Angela. Tan fat DOES look better. :thumbsup2

Have fun in Atlanta!

Good evening Focker Friends!!
Hi Kristel! Thanks for the update! :goodvibes
No cucumbers were ready today. I should have about 5 to pick tomorrow. I did buy another peat starter tray and some green bean seeds. In 7-10 days I should have more things ready to plant outside...if this freakin heat wave doesn't kill them.
I swear I have 5 gazillion tomatoes and not one of them is freakin' RED! :headache:
First Judy is still okay !! In pain but okay !! She was up and walking a few times today !!They really push that , it is something that they have pushed in England for many many years and just recently seems to be catching on here !!I am a firm believer in moving after surgery it speeds recovery a lot!!
Glad to hear she's okay and on the mend, Rosie. :)

Morning all! It's absolutely gorgeous down here this AM... cool breezes and sunny! :
Bleh! We have had crappy weather all JUNE! I got the new pool, but haven't had a chance to get it running with this darn weather. I need SUN! I need to tan before Florida!

As requested, these are my new sandals:

Rather like Crocs, I think they fall into the "so ugly they're cute" category, lol!
:scared: I love you, but DANG those are ugly. :lmao: They looks so comfy though. :cloud9:

Cute shoes, V but how do you like your toes all enclosed?
I was thinking the same thing. I need my toes to not be covered. :confused3

******************************************************

Geeze, I've been so crazy busy, I haven't even had a chance to catch up over here. I read back 3 pages, so hopefully with that and Kristel's update I'm fully informed on all things Focker.

I think Andy is trying to kill me with that darn Wii Active he bought me. It's a really killer. You don't feel it at first, but come the next morning, you feel it all right... in your ***, thighs, arms..... :faint:

Went to the gym this morning and followed that up with some Active. I'm slowly losing weight, but I feel better so I'm happy, but tired.

We have our Brownie Father/Daughter bowling tonight, so that should be fun. Friday I have Evan's Pre-K "good-bye" luau and then next week I have the end of year party for Maddie's 1st grade class and our final Brownie meeting until the fall. THANK YOU!

I do need some end of the year party advice on games. It's a picnic themed party and I need to come up with a few games to play and I have no idea what to do and where to start??? Anyone???

Well I've officially done all I can do in prep for tomorrow. Outfit is picked out. legs are shaved, nails are done. Purse is packed.

Pants has decided he is taking the day off tomorrow so he is going to meet me at the Disney store and we are going to walk down to Olive Garden and take advantage of the soup, salad & bread sticks for 6.95 deal!YUM. Then we are going to steal KC for his lunch hour as well. I'm glad to have someone to squeal to after my interview is over.

Extra flip flops are also now packed, because I am not wearing dress shoes all day in NYC. The blisters from last week are not all the way healed yet.

I'll probably pop back in before bed, but I am hoping to get some sleep so i don't look like a raccoon when I walk into the store. LOL.

Can ya tell I am a tad excited???

I am just going to hope I don't get all Disney fan girl too much during the interview. :rotfl:

Thanks T. The elliptical will not defeat me! LOL

How about that one where they carry an egg on a spoon across to the other side and then transfer it to the other kid's spoon and they go BACK? Sort of an egg relay. If you're worried about mess, you could hard boil them. :thumbsup2

Good luck tomorrow, Kat. I'll be thinking about you! :goodvibes

Good job on the golf, Jo!

Janet: Let your mom clean when she gets there. Mom's love that carp! ::yes::

CE: Hi there! :wave2:

V: Howdy! Have fun with the horses! :woohoo:

********************
Well, Gus is apparently on the mend. He is outside scootering. (Is this a word?) He ate two pancakes with some strawberry soy yogurt and a glass of cranberry juice. :woohoo: I am happy.

Bob will be home from OHIO in about 30 minutes. Gotta go clean up the kitchen.
