I don't understand why they dislike her so much. She doesn't bother me although I find her trying way to hard to prove to herself she's still young. And how sad that she says she needs a man to take care of her and her daughters. :sad2:

I agree and I think that's the one thing I don't like about her is that she NEEDS to find some rich man to take care of her and her kids. No lady, if your about to lose your house and everything else than go find a damn job.

Good luck with school and TV watching. ;)

Thanks. It came back on and I was able to watch. :thumbsup2 Tori & Dean were on tonight as well so I was flipping back and forth.

My cousin just called. They are actually going to leave tomorrow, spend tomorrow night with her DH's sister in NJ, then come on up - possibly even in time for seeing part of the baseball game.

Glad its all starting to work out. Good Luck baby proofing the house.

****************************************************

I was just on my March '05 Mama board and read some shocking news.

This woman and her husband had tried years to get pregnant in the first place. She was due in March '05 with a little boy but the baby ended up dying in utero. His cord got tangled and basically strangled him. That was in Dec '04.

Since then her and her husband tried and tried and tried. They did IUI, Invitro, etc. I'm not really all sure because I personally have never had to go through it so I really don't know what is all out there. But I know they tried everything and spent a lot of money on it.

She finally got pregnant and I think this was on their own with no medical aide. Her and her husband were both so happy and just a few weeks ago found out she was having a little girl.

This evening she posted that she had an ultrasound today and the baby has a lot of birth defects...brain not growing right, congestive heart failure, stomach in wrong place, etc. Even if she were to go full term the babies survival rate would only be 3%, but will most likely miscarry in the next few weeks. (I know she is due at the end of Oct so that makes her well into her second trimester.).

I'm just shocked and so saddened by this. They have aleady been through so much loss and it was truly a miracle and blessing she had gotten pregnant this time around, especially with no help. And now something like this happens. :sad2:

I guess they will be doing genetic testing now and just do a waiting game to see what happens from here.

The baby is crawling, so I really need to childproof - something I wouldn't be too worried about with the 3 year old and a non-mobile baby, but...
I never did that but I guess Reid wasn't here for that long at one time.

The PI is getted **** off and he has a GUN !!! My vote is use it :worship:
:eek::rotfl:

You'll have to wait 'til September for me.
Plenty of time to get your drink order in! :thumbsup2

That is so sad, Lori. :sad1: And then there's octomom.

I ordered a new vacuum, a Dyson. How geeky is it that I'm excited about that? It's supposed to come tomorrow and I have to wait to sign for it. A vacuum? But oh well. :upsidedow

Morning All!!! Not much going on here !! Am using DGD's laptop so any typos are truly mine:lmao:Made arrangements to have my buddy help me load the cd only to find out Judy wants me to babysit !! :scared1:Have to see if can fit everything in!!!

Any way Judy's friend Sandy is coming with us and Judy told her potty breaks are scheduled :rotfl2: Sandy says that'sOK !!!!:lmao: I am happy se's coming it will be fun for Judy !!

:rotfl:That's good!

Anyone want to learn about the mamals of california? Complete with color pictures! Just give me your email!:rotfl:

off to go read....:surfweb:

You know, I'm sure it's fascinating, but... ;)

You will not have a dull moment this weekend. That's for sure. I hope it all gels for you.

Aside from the panic over getting the house ready, this really IS better for my scheduled stuff. :thumbsup2

Thanks, it's been a long time since I've had to think about that.

Oh, no... That's too bad.

I never did that but I guess Reid wasn't here for that long at one time.

You probably don't have a house full of swallowable Legos, either. ;) Truly, I'm not nearly as worried about the outlets as all the little crap we have lying around.

Oooh, I'd be excited about that, too!

Morning All!!! Not much going on here !!

Good morning, Rosie!

********************************************
Up and slowly at it... D just got the boys on the bus and the dog out - I'm lucky that he didn't have to leave at 5:00 this morning. He's got to shower and get going now, though.

I've caught up here and am going to have breakfast, then it's super cleaning time. I did do a lot last night - both getting rid of tons of Happy Meal/broken/junk toys and just generally picking up everything.

I need to dig out the pack-n-play and high chair and get those cleaned up (and figure out where to put the pack-n-play - I've added a dresser to the guest room since last time she was here and needed it.) And then do the floors, and the bathrooms, but that's not awful.

And we know how I clean, so I'll be in and out all day! :rotfl2:

Have a good one!

:lmao: I like your style of cleaning...it's pretty much like mine. :thumbsup2
Hope you get it all in.

I'm hoping to get out to school today to register for classes but we'll see how that goes. I have a feeling my brother will be here today doing laundry and getting things ready for his trip to CA tomorrow so maybe I can get him to watch the kids while I run out there.

DR is the only one up at the moment. He fell asleep early while Linds was up until I have no idea when. She kept coming down stairs last telling me she couldn't sleep. I swear she has been my high maintence child since day 1. I love her, but sometimes I wonder. :rotfl:

Hope y'all have a good day!

Morning! :goodvibes

Hope all is well with everyone. Not much going on here today. We're almost finished with the school year, so I think I'm going to tackle the school room and clear out some old books we never used and that kind of thing. Exciting stuff, eh?

Have a great day!

That's exactly my feeling about Woody, especially compared to Buzz. He's just been more problematic since the very beginning. I love him very much, and he can be the nicest kid - but he's very, very much more the squeaky wheel/high maintenance.

That sounds good! Do you sell your old books? :)

I am actually from Germantown which is a suburb of Memphis, famous for the largest multibreed horse show. "The Germantown Charity Horse Show evolved in the way the most enduring events do: from a dream, a drive, and the dedication of its members. The dream began when a small group of friends, recently returned from active duty in W.W. II, decided that local interest in horses should be channeled into community-wide participation and an extension beyond county lines." For the 60th anniversary the horse show comissioned 21 painted horses to display around the city. We only made it to two.

The girl on this horse is the granddaughter of one of the original founders.

Great photos, Angela. We went to Monticello when I was maybe 10, and I loved it. (I was a history geek, even then...)

Fun! :goodvibes

Good Morning!

I think I'm all caught up here... let's see what I rememebered...

Dawn - Congrats on DVC!!:cool1:

Lori - that is so sad about your friend. :guilty:

Deb - :lmao: at Omnicron and his booger! On the DSi, you can add parental controls on the internet if you want. It's so much more than a video game, it's got a fun camera feature and you can play music on it via memory card. :thumbsup2 I just love it!

Ok, that's all I remember.. oh that's bad!

Hi Everyone, sorry if I forgot something! :flower3:

Off to get Mads to school... I'll check back later!

Morning.
Angela, great photos. Looks like a neat place to visit.

Lori, I will say a prayer for your friend. That is so sad.

CE, have fun with your company. And  for your dad.

Hi Jo, Rosie, V, Kristel, CelBel, Janet, Kat, T, and everyone else I am sure I missed.

This is the note I had to put in the ladies restroom yesterday. Keep in mind that there are only 6 people working on the 2nd floor and I am the only female.

ATTENTION MEN: IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE LADIES RESTROOM PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. FLUSH THE TOILET, CHECK IT AND FLUSH AGAIN IF NEEDED. AND PLEASE REMEMBER TO KEEP THE FAN ON. USE THE AIR FRESHENER IF YOU NEED TO. I DON'T MIND SHARING THE RESTROOM WITH YOU IF I DON'T KNOW THAT YOU WERE HERE. I DON'T WANT TO SEE OR SMELL WHAT YOU DID. REMEMBER THAT THESE DOORS ARE UNDER SURVEILLANCE AND I WOULD HATE TO HAVE TO SHOW YOU ENTERING THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM AT OUR NEXT SAFETY MEETING.

Morning! :grouphug:

Did I ever check in yesterday? I can't remember! :confused3

I picked Leo up from school yesterday and we spent the rest of his last day of 1st grade... watching a movie whilst I napped. But he had a riding lesson last night, so it was good to rest.

I had to skip my lesson to attend summer camp orientation. What a joke! They can't find his paperwork. They know he's attending, but can't find emergency contacts, allergy info., etc. Great. He goes to a different, more on the ball, place for Horse Camp next week; I know they've got everything at least!

Speaking of horses... I'm finding myself very seriously considering partially leasing a horse soon. Yep, I've got it bad! :goodvibes

Have a good Wed. all!

I hope it works. I don't think I could deal with that.

I hope you get to use a good part. I don't know what you'd do with a hoof. Or the mane. But I can see how the back would be a useful part.

;)

I have a ton to get rid of too. :sad2: I'm thinking about organizing a book sale here so I can get rid of stuff for a decent price.

How interesting, Angela. I really want to take the kids to Montecello and DC. I've been waiting until the younger kids are older so they will appreciate it. :cutie:

;)

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I so struggled with how to phrase that in a single sentence - should've ponied up for another, lol!

Okay, clarification: partial lease meaning NOT responsible for boarding, feeding, medical, etc. - just tacking up, basic grooming and riding a few days a week. :thumbsup2

Good Morning!

Hi, T! Bye, T! :wave2:

CE, have fun with your company. And  for your dad.

Thanks!

Nothing to say about this in particular, just wanted to say, "Hi!" ;)

*****************************************
I've dusted the whole downstairs and am ready to do the floors. And I've spent too much time playing stupid games on FB.

But, I'm feeling good about it. I really do need to find the pack-n-play, because I have to find the sheets for it, and also probably should wash the cover of the high chair.

OK, off again! bbl!

:rotfl: Thanks for the laugh, Kate!

Hey V - did you know I'm afraid of horses too? Yeah, add that to the list... birds, horses.... bones in meat....
:scared:

Just popping in for a loud exhale of frustration. I can't catch a freakin break! We have termites, a broken washing machine, and I was just rear ended at the grocery store. :sad1:
Oh no, hope they catch him!!!!

Somebody needs to kick Angelina Ballerina in the teeth!
Why?????

Sadly, of course, every toy we own is comprised of hundreds of itty bitty pieces. :rotfl:
The bigger the kids the smaller the toys :rotfl2:

ExSIL is also dodging the PI who is trying to serve him ! The PI is getted **** off and he has a GUN !!! My vote is use it :worship:
Hope they get him soon

Errr I'll pass :rotfl2:

You do have more than one pair of shoes without cleets, right?
Yep they were a pair of shoes I use for the garden :rotfl2:

I was just on my March '05 Mama board and read some shocking news.
That's terrible, poor lady!

I ordered a new vacuum, a Dyson. How geeky is it that I'm excited about that? It's supposed to come tomorrow and I have to wait to sign for it. A vacuum? But oh well. :upsidedow
But Dysons are good :rotfl2:

:sad2: And wow on the horse is it pricy?

And I've spent too much time playing stupid games on FB.
Any good ones????

David had his neurology appointment today and the general consensus os migraines, he still wants him to have another MRI scan so that's good :thumbsup2

Really?! And here I was going to suggest a little pony ride at FW after 21 or so Lapu Lapus. :rotfl::hug:

Jo said:

Not using Fuzzy Horse Math! :teeth: Partial leases run around $150 - $200 a month. Versus buying a horse, which could run thousands for the horse, $500 a month for full board and who knows how much in vet, farrier and tack costs. :faint:

Any good ones????

Just the ones you already play! :)

Migraines stink, but I'm glad that they don't think it's anything more serious.
