Ihad an AWFUL day at work and have been moping around all evening to upset to even Dis !!! But meds help and I am Dissing !!!!

I'm sorry, Rosie!

I have nothing planned for my 3 days off. Might have lunch with the brother on Thursday. I guess I'll be working in the back yard and on the man cave. Chat at ya' later!

Have fun! :goodvibes

I'm tired. Good night, Fockers! :goodvibes

Hi, Dawn! Bye, Dawn! :wave2:

Hi Fockers!!!!

Just a quick drive by, I skimmed this page only thank goodness Kristel's update was here. :)

Later!! :flower3:

Hi, Z! Bye, Z!

Nothing to excited planned for us today. Linds is in school and DR and I will head to the grocery store this afternoon. I'm about to take Linds to school and DR is still sleeping. Hope he stays that way so I can relax a little more when I get home.

Be back later! Hope y'all have a good one!

You, too!

**************************************************
The boat is apparently ready enough for us to go take it out for a spin before D leaves tomorrow for a week in Miami (be ready to see a lot of me!) and so I am skipping tennis :faint: and going up with D to take a ride! I'm excited! Pictures when I'm back. :goodvibes

We were thinking of coming back, getting the boys, and letting them go for a spin and then dinner, but it's a lot of driving, D DOES have to, oh, pack, it's a school night, etc. So, I don't know. If we don't do that, we'll take them out for the Mexican we'd talked about on Sunday. :thumbsup2 I've already arranged for them to go to tennis on Wed. instead of tonight, as well. At any rate, if I'm back today, it will be late, no matter which we do.

So, I'll see y'all later! Have a good one! :grouphug:

Good morning everyone!

I'm so ready for this to be over.

Hang in there! It will be soon.
I thought I posted the bag tags I made today for the girls' dance bags, but I don't see them...
I'm losing it, I guess. :lmao:

I'll post it again! :rolleyes1

Bagtag-1.jpg

Love them! You are so talented.
BTW does anyone know of any good ways to train a dog to stop whining? She only whines when shes tied up outside alone. but im afraid shell do the same thing anytime we leave her alone, and since well be moving to an apartment at the end of summer, that just wont do and i have to stop it now.
My kid are also having allergies.
No advice on the puppy with the whining. Maybe she'll grow out of it. We had a dog that would bark nonstop when we were not home. She was the dog from hades. I was so glad when we got rid of her.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I've got to get dd ready for ballet in a few minutes. THis is her last class and her first recital is Saturday. After ballet, I think I am going to go sign up for a tennis cardio class. Should be fun. I just hope Baby Girl will behave herself while I am taking the class. Another girl taking it said some others bring their kids and the kids just hit balls around while they are doing the class.

Cute story:
Last night I walked in my bedroom and all the covers were on the ground. This is the 2nd night in a row my kids have done this. So I said to Baby Girl, "What am I going to do with you?" She said, "Love me."

ds only has 2 weeks of school left.

I booked my flight for the October trip. I won't make it to Fockerfest 2010. We are planning on getting our APs in June, using them next year before they expire and then wait a year. Plus, it is doubtful it will be at a time I can make it since my kids get out of school earlier and start back earlier than everyone else.

Morning :goodvibes

OMG, where is Kristel? I need an update. I go away for a few days and you guys max out #10  I am so behind!

I hope all is well.

Our trip was a success...in that we got to Ohio and back safely ;) The team didn't win anything...but they were up against some amazing kids. For anyone who is concerned about the future of the world, just go to one of these events. Two teams out of 60 have patents pending...and they are middle schoolers!

So we're home and it's laundry day:laundy: I'll be around, trying to catch up.
:flower3:

I may have to pop over for F&W Fest in Oct as well. ;)
Might I suggest Halloween weekend? Two someones you know and love will be in The World. ;)

And that reminds me...has anything been planned for a Fockerfest 2010? Or is everyone waiting to get this year over to start planning for next?
Nope. I think we're just talking in general terms at this point. Truthfully, it's never really been a planned thing per se; it's just kind of come about as folks started making their own family plans and trips overlapped. Well, myself excluded, but only because I'm just down the road - much easier for me to switch things around when there's no airfare involved, lol!

Today is a bad allergy day. Im sneezing and running everywhere!
OMG, me too! It's awful today. :crazy2:

Yay, you're back! Hugs to you all for making it back safely. And to #1. Bet he had fun, though!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing new today. We have a slight chance for rain later, which is desperately needed, but would screw up our riding lesson. Why can't it rain tomorrow?!

As a follow-up to my earlier sunscreen post, I want to issue a warning for all who are heading down here in the next few months...

I was using a 50SPF sunscreen at the beach Sun. and reapplied about 4 times over a 5 hour period. I still came away with a LOT of color and a little pink on my face! This is not the norm at all; I usually come away with no color at all with that much sunscreen. I don't know if the ozone hole is directly over my town or what, but the sun is very, very strong down here right now. Slather that sunscreen on and keep reapplying folks! :thumbsup2

Good morning everyone!

Hi, Mary! Enjoy the cardio tennis. If it's the "official" one, be prepared to run like mad. ;) It's the one I did about 4 weeks ago and nearly died. :rotfl2:

Wow! Glad you had fun. :goodvibes Kristel posted an update last night, maybe just try back a page?

::yes:: That's how I'm feeling. We're supposed to ride the boat (I thought we were leaving as soon as the bus took off, but we're still here.) Anyway, since it's D's last day off for at least a week, WHY are there possible t-storms this afternoon? :headache: I think we may just tool around for a couple of hours and come home, at this rate. Tomorrow, I wouldn't care at all!

I'm so behind... What does a friend request mean and why do I only have one from one of you?
I saw the friend thing too. Don't worry, I think they are just trying to make it like FB. I don't think it's catching on. LOL :rotfl: I only have two friends too here.
I can only find my DIS profile when someone else asks me to be their friend - defintiely not catching on for me, lol!

I hope it's not the official one. :scared1::rotfl2:

I talked to one of the girls taking the class and she said there are lots of beginners in there.

Good morning Fockers!
To top it off my back is super achy today and I really just wanna lay back down in bed, but can't because I need to do the shopping.

Hope your back gets to feeling better

See why I can't wait for summer? :faint:
:scared:

::yes:: and I probably won't make Fockerfest 2010unless it is in October:rolleyes1
We've already decided (well, I've already decided) that we are going fall break in 2010 which is usually around Columbus Day if we get another free dining pin or some other great offer.

Nothing exciting going on here, but Jo said don't be daft, so I'm trying not to be. Although, I'm not fully sure what that means! :lmao:
:rotfl:

I know what you mean about missing dinners. We are down to one family meal a week now due to baseball, cheer, dance, cubscouts, karate, and church. Especially now that DH is gone from 6AM until 6:30PM :sad1:

I called, she wasn't in. Tomorrow she's in, I made sure to leave my # tho. I'll try again tomorrow. I hate waiting and prolonging things.
I hope you hear something today Kat

I thought I posted the bag tags I made today for the girls' dance bags, but I don't see them...
How adorable! You are so talented. I have great ideas, just not good with the follow through LOL!

Today is a bad allergy day.
So sorry, And I have no advice on the puppy. We are not animal people. I tell the kids we can get a puppy when everyone is potty trained and can clean up after themselves. I'm thinking that should be 15 years.

Ihad an AWFUL day at work and have been moping around all evening to upset to even Dis !!! But meds help and I am Dissing !!!!
Hi Rosie! Sorry you had a bad day. Hope today is better.

I just realized that my 90 day mark will be June 30th. I'll be in Wisconsin. :scared1: They'll have to wait until I get back on July 1st.
What are you doing in Wisconsin? Can you not call from there?
Enjoy your days off!

Be back later! Hope y'all have a good one!
Hi Lori!

The boat is apparently ready enough for us to go take it out for a spin before D leaves tomorrow for a week in Miami
How fun!

THis is her last class and her first recital is Saturday.
Pics please!
That was a cute story. It is moments like those that makes being a mommy so rewarding :cloud9:

See page 4 ;)

Everyday is laundry day here :sad2:

Today is my day off so I am still in my pjs! Saturday DH started complaining of a toothache and it was hurting so bad by Sunday night that he could hardly sleep. He had an appt with the dentist a few months ago that he skipped due to work. Then when he was out of work for a month you would have thought one might take care of things like that but no he didn't. So now his tooth is killing him and he goes to work anyway Monday morning because he had this oh so important meeting. Around noon he calls me and asks me to make him an appt. So like the good wife I am I call and ask for an emergency appointment to see the dentist because he thinks he has an abscessed tooth now. The lady tells me he can be seen in JUNE! I tell her he needs to be seen before then but she said she couldn't help. I was so upset. Later i called back and talked with someone else and she not only made him an appt for today but also had him called in some pain meds and anti-biotics.

I know this sounds mean but I still have little sympathy for him because he should have taken care of all this while he was out of work.

Today I am speaking to Alpha's gifted class about my job and I still have to write my speech. This afternoon karate, cheernastics, and a tball game.

Carp, school just called. Omicron just got sick and i need to go get him.

I'll check back later!

Today is a bad allergy day.

Jimmy's allergies have been bad this week:sad2:

Drama with the puppy...

We have this problem with our dog. We started crating her when we aren't home and at night and she is fine!:thumbsup2

I just realized that my 90 day mark will be June 30th. I'll be in Wisconsin. :scared1: They'll have to wait until I get back on July 1st.

If yesterday is any indication you shouldn't have a problem. I didn't call until alomost 11:00 and got everything I wanted!:thumbsup2

Enjoy your days off:goodvibes

Hi Fockers!!!!

Hi Z!:goodvibes

Good Morning Fockers!

You can't argue with that logicprincess:

How about Columbus Day Weekend next year;)

Mom said that they need rain desperately!

I usually lather up first thing in the am (when leaving for the parks) and then several times afterwards:thumbsup2 Last year, the first sunny day after Faye left (Sunday after fockerfest) I lathered up Jim and Jimmy and forgot to put any on myself:scared:

We've already decided (well, I've already decided) that we are going fall break in 2010 which is usually around Columbus Day if we get another free dining pin or some other great offer.

I will probably do a long weekend this weekend so that I can visit my parents and if I "happen" to have some free time I will be hitting Food and Wine Fest;)

Ha! I found y'all!!

Hi Slate :wave2:

Ha! I found y'all!!
Hi s'latey! Come back and chat - what's going on in your world? popcorn:::hug:
How about Columbus Day Weekend next year;)
As in 2010? Probably. It's not a holiday for us, and I might not have Leo, but at least one of us could make it over for a day or two!

OMG, how bad was it? Gramma missed the tops of her feet Sun. and they are scorched! :scared:

This morning I was reading about a few fun things to make our trip in January special since it'll be my mom's first trip. When I went in my room to take a shower, A was in my bed watching tv. I kissed his forehead and told him that I was looking at some fun things for our next trip to Disney.
He said, "You do that every day." :lmao: :rotfl:

Smarty pants! :rotfl2:

I am looking into tea at the GF, the celebrations fireworks cruise, a pirate adventure package... Any special suggestions, Fockers? Isn't there something special for larger groups at Epcot? Where's Jen V? I know they did something special...

I know the fireworks cruise would be fun, but since we'll be at BLT, it wouldn't be really different than what we'll see from the beach. :confused3

It may not be a holiday here after contract negotiations this summer, but either way I will be planning a solo long weekend so I can see my parents since we aren't doing a family trip next year.

I was going to go this year for girls' weekend, but with the move, our family beach trip and a big trip in January, I just can't. Maybe I can swing a weekend in October next year. :thumbsup2

How many people?

8 or more is considered a grand gathering. There are tons of things you could book. Where is our resident mom? She can tell you what they are!

Didn't they change the fireworks cruise so that it's not just for grand gatherings anymore? We did that last summer and had a great time. :thumbsup2
