Speaking of ADRs, does anyone know if you can book Victoria & Alberts more than 90 days out?
I don't know but try now just in case. You'll love it! :goodvibes

My godmother is gone and as much as I loved having her here, I'm tired! We were nonstop except for the time in the pool. :lovestruc Thanks for all the good thoughts about my grandmother. I haven't talked to my mother yet today to know the latest, but my g'mom sounded pretty good when I talked to her yesterday. :thumbsup2

Anyone in the vicinity, shuttle launch 2.01 pm today!

Since we are going in Oct without kids, we thought we would try V & A.

I think you can book now. They said something about V & A when I was hold, but I kind of ignored it.

That's still 6 weeks of school. :sad2:

Ugh:sad2::hug:

Wow, interesting. It's a little "Minority Report" huh?

::yes::

Looking good! :goodvibes

:yay:

Good morning Fockers! Just wanted to check in. I've been on the disSigns board all morning looking for EPCOT passport ideas. Does anyone know how much the passports in the park costs? The ones here are cute but I think I'm too lazy to make one myself. :rotfl:

I think they are about $12, but not 100% sure.

:thumbsup2 Looks good!

CE - Any update on your dad?

He has another appointment today with the nephrologist, but the "big" one with the oncologist is on the 21st, where he should get most answers.

However, when I talked to Mom yesterday for the holiday call, they hadn't told me that late Friday afternoon they'd gotten some weird news from the kidney biopsy he had a couple of weeks ago (this is not the bone marrow one he had last week.)

Anyway, they have decided that he has 30% "fibrosis or scarring" on each of his kidneys, so they aren't functioning quite right. This is irreversible. :sad2: And they can't even stop it from happening more right now, because they can't figure out if it's a medication that caused it, or his pre-diabetic condition going full-on, or what. Hopefully, again, they'll know more on the 21st. :confused3

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the high protein levels in his blood and urine that indicate this MGUS or myeloma, as far as I understand it. But I could be wrong, I guess. There's a lot of info coming in, and I get confuzzled. Mom writes it all down. ::yes::

OK, Croc people...

I tried the Athens a few years ago, and they are just way too wide for my foot (it's why I can wear the Alice and Prima, but not the Beach.) I've got my eye on some Capri flops in the outlet, and the description says it's a "slender footbed." Are they skinnier than the Athens? Better for a narrow foot?

Thanks!

Let me put it this way... I have duck feet - narrow heels, wide at the toes - and am nearly flat-footed. My Carpis are super comfy and have ample room where I need it. I wouldn't call them narrow, though they're more fitted than the Athens.

(and Grandpa has a giant GARDEN, Jo! :lmao:)
Fantastic :rotfl2:

D's making me breakfast now - I asked the boys if they were going to do it, but Woody said, "No, Dad is. I'm going outside."
Kids :rotfl2:

Kristel, what days are you doing MNSSHP, I have to order my tix, I think I'm going on 9/15, it's a Tuesday so I haven't rushed to buy it yet. Have you gone to a MnSSHP yet, they are so much fun. The parade and fireworks are worth the price admission (and I'm not a parade person, but LOVE Boo to You parade)
Mo when are you in WDW? I'm there 24th to 28th September!

It's only for 2 hours, so I will have some time to myself, whcih will be nice!
Enjoy!

I so agree that the Fockers are my lifeline ! This is where I can vent, share, laugh and cry !! In return I get hugs when needed , love all the time and a good dose of:rolleyes1 nd:rotfl2:!
So true Rosie :rotfl2:

The problem... not enough gas to get there, but we found a Kroger yesterday and after spending over 3 hours in line we got gas.
OMG Tracy glad you got out and 3 hours to get gas :faint:

Well, NotBob's friends FINALLY left today. Bob and the boys said that we'll celebrate Mother's Day next Sunday so that's good. Especially since I spent the three hours he was gone bringing them to the airport cleaning my house!
Wooohoooo

p.s. did you guys know that your limited to using only 25 smilies per post?! the outrage!
I know :sad2::rotfl2:

OMG! We have mice
I think we have 1 in our garage too need to set the trap!

Eek!! Say hi to Mickey for me! ;)
:rotfl2:

Wow MK was a mad house with MNSSHP. I knew better than to book it for a Friday.
I'm hoping to go on a Friday but won't be paying :rotfl2:

I didn't share two of the more interesting things about our day yesterday.
OMG how funny about the GPS but yikes to the dog, that must have been scary, glad you were all OK!

Linds missed school on Friday because she was sick and she tried saying she was sick today as well. I told don't even start and that she is doing. If she gets sick at school then of course I would go pick her up but I think she'll live and just wasn't wanting to get up this morning.
She's getting clever :rotfl2:

That's true. I haven't posted much because I figure it would be boring to say, "Nope. Still don't know about moving" everyday.
Don't be daft we want you posting here whether you have anything to say or not

Now, to find that TRex number:upsidedow
407-828-8739 and woohoo on the ADR's

The girls went on a great 2 hour bike ride last night so David and I went and played 9 holes, other than almost getting hit by a ball and the people not shouting fore :headache: we had a great time. This morning David had to have another blood test, this time a fasting one, as the last one showed high sugar (7.2) and lackof Vitamin D which seeing that he works outside is strange. We then went to the mall where I bought some new clothes and some birthday pressies for Ellie. Then when we got home there was a message from Ellie saying she had forgotten her PE shorts and she had rounders (like baseball) after school. So we dropped those off and then went for a long walk via the coffee shop :rotfl2: Then it was Mummy McDonalds for dinner and it's now 8pm :rotfl2:

Tomorrow is the Spring meeting at the golf club, it's a big competition followed by the presentation includng stuff from the last 6 months, I'm hoping I'll get player of the year but we'll see!

Oh Kat have you heard about the job???

Thank you both!

OK. My problem with the Athens was that, to get them long enough, the top straps or whatever you want to call them don't even touch my foot - resulting in slipping and therefore rubbing. So I guess maybe it's not exactly the width, it's the distance between the sole and the straps. Does that make sense?

I suppose I could try the Capri and sell it on eBay if it doesn't work. I need to get the boys' anyway, and this pushes me to free shipping. FDM! ;)

Thanks for the info! :goodvibes

I am in a pickle...

I called the store for the job around 2:40pm. The woman answered and said she needed to call me back, she took my name then I hung up. She never called back!

I dunno what to do, I don't want to be a PITA if she's busy. But I'm thinking it's not the best news if she didn't call me back quick, meaning she wasn't planning on offering me the job.

I dunno!!!!:confused3

I need to go grocery shopping and the store is only a few blocks away so I may stop in. Or should I call back?

URGH.

To top it off my back is super achy today and I really just wanna lay back down in bed, but can't because I need to do the shopping.

MEH! :sad2:

Funny to see so many of you counting school days. I'm the one soooo over school. I can't wait for summer! :cool1: Maddie is liking school so much this year, she hasn't asked how much longer. :confused3

Busy week again. Ortho appt. & Brownies tomorrow, Wednesday I have to spend some time at Maddie's school as they're having pancake breakfast on Saturday and there's a PTA meeting about it, Thursday is volunteer day at M's school and a Girl Scout leader meeting, Friday I get to breath shortly and then Saturday is pancake day. See why I can't wait for summer? :faint:
:rotfl2:

But then on SUNDAY, I get to see Mo at DLR! :cheer2: I'm excited, I miss my focker friends and it will be nice to see at least one of them. August was so long ago. :guilty:

Hope you all have a great day! :grouphug:

I decided my back is bad enough that I don't want to go shopping. I'm hoping KC gets home early enough for us to go tonight (they are open till 11pm).

So do i call back?

I really think at this point she would have called if she was planning on hiring me, right? I hate when people don't get back to you.

URGH.
