Nothing exciting going on here, but Jo said don't be daft, so I'm trying not to be. Although, I'm not fully sure what that means!

We did nothing really today. The girls are at dance, so A and I will go up there later to wait until they are done. I have no idea when K will be home. He typically only makes it home 1-2 nights a week before 8pm. So, the kids don't see him much. As you can imagine, he's tired once he gets home, so I don't see him much either. I'm so ready for this to be over.

We all miss our family time so much. I think I've stopped being stressed over the move so I can stay sane. I know it has to happen by the 20th, so it will.
When we're all home (like on the weekends) there's so much to do that we all split up to get things done. It'll be nice to be together in the same town again. It'll be nice to get to eat dinner together again too.

When is she done T?

Her last day is June 17th and Evan's last day is June 18th. They don't start up again until Sept. 9th, which is kind of late.

Me neither... it all depends on if I start back to work this fall or next fall. Not sure yet. Bah, we'll see what happens.

My godmother is gone and as much as I loved having her here, I'm tired! We were nonstop except for the time in the pool. Thanks for all the good thoughts about my grandmother. I haven't talked to my mother yet today to know the latest, but my g'mom sounded pretty good when I talked to her yesterday.

Glad you had a good time and good news about your grandmother.

That stinks

Anyway, they have decided that he has 30% "fibrosis or scarring" on each of his kidneys, so they aren't functioning quite right. This is irreversible. And they can't even stop it from happening more right now, because they can't figure out if it's a medication that caused it, or his pre-diabetic condition going full-on, or what. Hopefully, again, they'll know more on the 21st.

Keep us updated.

Tomorrow is the Spring meeting at the golf club, it's a big competition followed by the presentation includng stuff from the last 6 months, I'm hoping I'll get player of the year but we'll see!

Awesome news! And I said the same thing on our last trip but ya know...things were changed around. LOL

Busy week again. Ortho appt. & Brownies tomorrow, Wednesday I have to spend some time at Maddie's school as they're having pancake breakfast on Saturday and there's a PTA meeting about it, Thursday is volunteer day at M's school and a Girl Scout leader meeting, Friday I get to breath shortly and then Saturday is pancake day. See why I can't wait for summer?

Jimmy is done the 12th (Kindergarten move up day) but the other grades aren't done until June 23rd. They go back September 8th!

ooh im so excited for my very first thread change!

Today is a bad allergy day. Im sneezing and running everywhere! Ive got tons of notes to copy and need to get a move on with that and making dinner so that ill be able to sit down and watch house later tonight.

Drama with the puppy...Marc went to work today and left the puppy up here in davis instead of taking her with and leaving her at his moms. well one of the roommates only wanted her to be here when he was AKA only in the house on "visits" since marcs only here 3-4 days of the week. we had her tethered outside and i guess she was barking and whining, so he called marc and asked when hed be home. When he found out the answer was thursday he was upset at the "breach in contract" as it were. The other guy was upset because the puppy was "keeping him up all night with the noise" but mind you we didnt even put her outside until 10:00 this morning. So i told marc that he has to deal with any resulting drama with the dog and roommates. I'm not touching it with a 10 foot pole!

BTW does anyone know of any good ways to train a dog to stop whining? She only whines when shes tied up outside alone. but im afraid shell do the same thing anytime we leave her alone, and since well be moving to an apartment at the end of summer, that just wont do and i have to stop it now.

Got to go cook. im making porkloin and potatoes.

Hmm... It's so hard to know what to do while you're away. Do you use a kennel? I used to think it was kind of mean, but truly everyone says that dogs like to have their own little dark space.

CE found out you can’t trust a GPS. They had a scary moment with the dog. She says her dad has an important appt. on the 21st. He does have some scarring on his kidneys. They are not sure of the cause.

JO wants to be golfer of the year. They had to watch for incoming golf balls while they played.

KAT hasn’t heard anything about the job. They were supposed to call her back. They didn’t. So frustrating!

T is busy with school stuff and Brownies. She is ready for summer.

CEL BEL is dealing with allergies. Puppy problems. Apartment life and dogs are always a challenge. I'd try a kennel with some toys. Plenty of walks. They do have collars. I think the shock ones are inhumane. I did see some that use citronella spritz. Evidently dogs don't like it too much. Bottom line, some dogs are just more noisy than others. It might come down to the dog or the apartment. Sorry
