Let's see. I've done some laundry, done some dusting, and played Sims 3. Big day. D's outside doing lawn stuff. It's cool - only 60 and cloudy - and I'm just not feeling motivated.

Plus, I keep thinking it's Friday. I don't know if that's just wishful thinking or what?

I'm back in the computer era!

Who'd of thunk that Microsoft Office suite would corrupt my new MAC. To add a cherry on top my laptop arrived today too! I'm hoping it doesn't break in 5.2 seconds, so that I can get my TR's off of it and start loading them.

Tomorrow starts a huge SCRAPFEST 09- a scrapbooking convention put on by the store Archivers. It is in the Mall of America, where is takes over the mall. There are classes in techniques, many make and take booths, celebrity scrapbookers who give demos and at night you can scrap at stores and at the MOA . The lines are worse than WDW. But for scrapbookers, it is a hoot!

It's been a busy morning - I cleaned the house from top to bottom, washed all the bedding and hung wall crap in the kitchen. I'm waiting on 1 more thing to be shipped and it's all done! Pictures soon, I promise!

It's been a busy week.

I got a new phone, I told u that. I love it tho! I can do everything i do on the pc when i'm out and I am ADDICTED. It's 24.99 more a month but i don't care lol.

We canceled therapy yesterday , we were both just too tired. KC's brother came over for a while. We were in bed very early, which was GREAT. And slept most of the day away today. Ordered some Chinese food and now are playing games and messing around and relaxing.

Tomorrow we are going to a yoga class. A friend of ours teaches it and i'm curious to see what it can do for my back. This week Aunt Flo is visiting so next week i'll participate next week, but KC will be yoga-ing or whatever. Then i think we are going to hang in the city.

So on the work front, I had a "counseling" session about my call-outs and schedule issues. They were nice about it, given my situation, but i still got in troubles. Oh well. I am still trying to get a hold of the guy for the full time job and staying on that as well.

My BFF L and her hubby and daughter will be here next week, so I ma excited and not, ya know.

Anywho....I'm off to goof off some more.

Royal Pacific Resort...THis is the Universal "value" resort!

Jim said it was a fabulous stay. THe room had no fridge, but did have a coffee maker (with those pod things). IT was Emeril coffee and he said it was NASTY! THe view was of the pool He didn't take a pic

We are definitely going back next time!

my new rubber high heels came in the mail today---FED EX no less! (the fed ex guy HATES to come up my driveway! )

I think they are comfortable....but they do run a little wide as Mary said...now I got 241 days to find a matching outfit so I can wear them on the cruise!

Again thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.

Here’s what’s been happening around here. (I didn’t go all the way back.)

T had a salesman help her spend more money to save more money on cookware.

I can’t wait to see it all.

SLATE’s been hanging with the cruisers. She posted some funny threads at # 3442.

I love the wig story!

JANET gets to help out the school fund raising since she has to take it easy. She has started the new drops for her eyes. The doctor said they are much better. She posted pics from the ill-fated trip at # 3448, #3462, #3463, #3494, #3512. She loved T-REX. So did Jimmy. She got a tweet from JO super early in the morning.

You know you can set Twitter to not call you during a certain time frame.
The pictures are great. All the bright colors cheer me up!

ANGELA met up with Mo. They had an awesome time at DHS. She is looking for a new doo.

I want to see pics of your hair.

INGRID now knows who Lessa is.

JO felt like decking a hardware guy that didn’t know decking. She has been ‘quoted’ on Twitter for her grand advice. She will be getting a new deck soon.

Rockie’s mom is still stable after the dialysis. That is good. I guess she woke up briefly night before last and talked to Rockie’s older brother for a couple of seconds. The doctor has told them that she is improving slightly. He said there is hope but be realistic. She is still very sick.

Rockie has asked me to hold off on changing any plans until Sunday. She said if her mom does improve by then and she knows she will be taken care of, she still wants to go. I practically begged her to reconsider. She begged me to hold off.

I know she understands my concern because she turned right around and told her girls the same thing. They need to get back to school. They also need to understand they will be 4 hours away. They may not get to see grandma if things get bad too quickly.

This whole thing is frustrating.

I haven’t seen Doug since the early AM of Wednesday. I called him tonight to set up a date for tomorrow. I’m going to the hospital to see Rockie’s mom and then I’m meeting him at the Golden Corral. Yay, dinner and a show! I’m always mystified at the amount of food one person can carry back to a table.

Plus his Gamma Knife Surgery is scheduled for Oct. 5th. That is just after I get back from WDW if we go. It will take the whole day but he will be able to go home. There should be no lingering effects. He has done general radiation before and it went very well. I don't anticipate any problems.

Do I have enough going on right now?

Like Kat said, just gotta keep my head above water. Keep swimming!

I tell my kids that they can't complain if they won't take the meds. But I don't know what I'd say if they said the meds didn't work.

It does, I'm not sure if she has a low pain threshold or something. Last night when she was asleep I went and moved her arm around, poked it etc, yep I'm a nice Mum anyway she didn't even stir so in my mind if something was wrong it would hurt whilst she was asleep too! That lady at tennis sounds like a nightmare, hope she gets the message soon!

Well the decking that was meant to be delivered after 10.30am arrived at 8.30am good job I didn't go out, the driver was very sweet and put it all in my garage which was good. But I cancelled my golf with my friends so when David gets home in about an hour we're going to go and play then

Well, it was inevitable. I'm sick. So is SD. Nothing major, just a sniffly nose and scratchy throat but I just KNEW that things were going too smoothly!!!

I'm going to get both boys on the bus and then head to the gym. I want to make it there today because I know I may not this weekend. I'll be extra dilligent about wiping my machine down today though. (I usually am anyway, but you know....)

So, I just wanted to pop in and say hi.
