It all started with one woman's dream... a dream of finding a way to non-verbally acknowledge a fellow DISer across a crowded park...

Summer 2006: a terrific DISer named Lisa posed the question of how to acknowledge all those Lime Green Mickey Heads (LGMH's), lime green Crocs, lime green Baggallini's, lime green DISERS, when one is standing in line or otherwise unable to engage in conversation.

The answer? Robert DeNiro's infamous "I'm Watching You Focker!" gesture from Meet the Parents, now known as the LIME LOOK!

What followed was the joining together of many DISers willing to give the Lime Look to other DISers. We've come a long way, baby!

We are TEAM FOCKER WATCH!

One rule:
Let's keep it clean! We all know how much fun one can have with the name Focker, but let's refrain from inappropriate word-plays with it on the boards, k?

She thinks they are doing the Atlantic City party the last weekend of July. Where you gonna stay?

ANGIE had a great time at Epcot and being pampered at GF spa. Her grandma has an infected sore on her leg. I hope she heals quickly.

MEL is alive and well. Her company has left and not a moment too soon. She is going to veg tomorrow. HI Mel!! I’m glad things are back to normal for you.

I think we are staying at a time share hotel (HERE). I found a decent rate on a discount website. It's about $250 a night BUT it's for at least 5 of us, maybe 7, so split it'll be a lot cheaper. Esp. because weekends in AC are ridiculously priced! This place has a full kitchen also. Now if I can only get my friends organized and on the same page as me. lol.

So the weekend of the 25th? Let me know when plans are finalized. A Dis meet right before I leave for the World

Linds missed school on Friday because she was sick and she tried saying she was sick today as well. I told don't even start and that she is doing. If she gets sick at school then of course I would go pick her up but I think she'll live and just wasn't wanting to get up this morning.

And she not in high school yet

I think Jimmy has had enough of the school thing too. He is ready for it to be over. He only has 23 days left but righ tnow it seems like forever (That;s not counting weekends, days off and any other FDM methods I could think of)

Hey all. At work...not much going on. It's a fiarly nice day, mostly sunny and going up to about 70. Crazy busy at work. With the fiscal year ending next month and the budget up in the air things are crazy!

Hey guys, I have a product alert for you. Leo and I have so much trouble finding effective sunscreens that don't make us itch or break out in a rash, and I know some others here do, too. So when I find something fantastic, I've got to share, right?! Here it is:

This stuff is amazing for Leo! It truly is waterproof and doesn't give him a rash at all. We've been using it for a few weeks, and for a whopping 5 hours* in the sun - at the beach, no less - yesterday.

*Note that we reapplied a few times; it wasn't 5 hours on one dose.


I found it at my local health food store, but you can also order online here. I see they have a good seleciton of other sunscreens, too. Enjoy!

So............I am on hold AGAIN with Dining. Why again> Becasue the first moron I talked to told me that becasue my first ADR wasn;t being made for the 9th that my 90 days starts TOMORROW when I want to make my first ADR, not check in day...Um..I don't think so.

SO I am back on the phone and my estimated wait time is 4 minutes!

The First Moron is wrong, wrong, wrong. When I made mine, my check-in day is 7/30, but the first ADR I wanted taken care of was for 8/1. No sweat; we took care of that and then went back for my 7/30 ADR. Give 'em hell Janet!

So I got all my ADR's AFter I hung up on moron #1 I was ready to do battle, however...I got the lovely Kim (Stripper names must be reserved for DVC Members). Anyway I expalined to her what the first person I talked to said and she said and I quote "No, that is absolutely wrong it's 90 days from day of check in" Thank you Kim So here are my ADR's.

Garden Grill (Early Dinner 4:25)
Boma (Dinner 5:10) - Jimmy will have his celebrate today party favor here
Chef Mickey's (Dinner 5:20)
50's Prime Time (Early Dinner 4:25)
HDDR 5:00 (Which is good, when we get out it will be stil fairly early, we can go to DTD or stay at FW for campfire and movie night...whatever floats our boat!
'Ohana (Breakfast 8:30)

Now, I just have to call T-Rex and make a ressie for arrival day. Our flight lands at 2:20 and we are renting a car. Do you think if we go to Pop, check in and then head to DTD (driving) we would make a 6:00 ressie. It's a Sunday, so I don't think traffic will be horriffic. V? Angela?

I think so. My one concern is parking - DTD parking after noon is an absolute nightmare. But you can always do a cubrside drop-off to get checked-in at T-Rex while someone else parks the car.

OK, you're inspiring me to count. We did finally get word on the last day - 6/23. That's 30 school days. One of those is Field Day, so it only sort of counts, but... That's still 6 weeks of school.

Good morning Fockers! Just wanted to check in. I've been on the disSigns board all morning looking for EPCOT passport ideas. Does anyone know how much the passports in the park costs? The ones here are cute but I think I'm too lazy to make one myself.

I hope she's OK. Woody was pulling the same thing this morning - despite the fact that over the weekend, waking up WELL before school time was fine.

Oh I know!!! She was up at 6:30 Saturday morning and I think about the same time on Sunday but I made her go lay in her bed and not move for half an hour.

I know right! This is Lindsey's last full week of school and she only has 3 days next week and then done. Grades 1 and above don't get out until the 29th but since they do Kindy testing for next year so Lindsey gets out early. It'll be nice to have some one on one time with her though since DR doesn't get done until the 27th. They'll leave on the 15th to go with their father and will be with him for 6 weeks!!!!
