CE- I'm sorry you're having to deal with all of that drama. I hop e can all sit down and come to a decision that's helpful for everyone involved.

Janet- What a funny cartoon! :lmao:

Lessa- That stinks about your dad moving farther away. :guilty:

Jen2- Good for you! I may or may not have had a mango margarita with my mexican food today. :rolleyes1 I went to order it and the waiter said, "A non-alcoholic mango margarita?" I said, "No... a regular one." I was a little annoyed with him. Don't judge me, jerk. I didn't tip very well after that. He tainted my nice lunch out.

Jodi- Yippeee!

TE! I missed you! How long will you be gone this time. :guilty:

I painted nails today and did laundry. I don't often paint my own nails, therefor I am not too good at it. But Tink and I had a jammy and hang out Monday, from our busy weekend. Tink LOVES to have "paint nails" the same as momma! My ds is at a playdate for the day = GIRLS day!
Sounds fun! We do those kind of days sometimes. :cloud9:

I'll be back Friday morning. I don't remember leaving for a work conference for several nites before so this is new for me. I used to go to Austin every summer for a PTA conference with moms and that was fun!
I get 16 hours of continuing ed credits and a certification in food safety so I think it's worth it--we'll see. I get bad headaches if I have to sit in fluoro lites too long so I hope they let me take a break!

Be safe and have fun! :goodvibes

Other than that...nothins going on. I"m going out to lunch with meeska. Since the motha "incident" I am needing wine earlier in the day.

I see no problem with that. ;)

How bizarre! Isn't that you want tequila implied when you order a margarita?

Hey! Thanks for missing me!

I am exiled to the slooow lap top (or the crap top as I call it) since KC is covering the 2-11pm shift from home.

CE- I really hope everything gets better and you have a stress free week.

Lessa- man thats a nutso price for airfare!!!!

TE- of course we missed you!

I know there was ton more but I was afraid to loose my quotes since ths thing has a mind of it's own sometimes....so HI everyone else!!!!

We did some grocery shopping today... why is it that going to pick up a few things turns into $100 bucks! I can't imagine what you guys spend with bigger families!

So is it crazy that I planned out our meals up until the trip? I have it color coded on the fridge, with a list of what we may need for the wek from the store. I think I have boredom issues.

Off to try and cathc up with my subbed threads!

Nope that is for just one seat. Airfare in Canada is ridiculous, that is why I fly from the States whenever possible. It is because there is no competition up here. There are basically two airlines WestJet and Air Canada. The $800 I quoted is from the "bargain" airline (WestJet).

:scared1: Wht about flying out of Syracuse and then gong back to Canada...probably makes the trip longer, but does it make it cheaper:confused3

I'm back online!!! whilst I was typing a most excellent response about broken bones.........Bear was chewing the keyboard wire..... Had to go get another keyboard.
Did anyone miss me??

Of course we did fearless leader:worship: :worship:

Try tabasco...don't think the bitter apple is working on bear...or get a wireless keyboard:rolleyes1

I'm leaving for Atlanta tomorrow for a work conference--prayers for me. Gonna drive by myself--about 6 hours if you pretend Atlanta has no traffic!

Sounds like fun:confused:

What's up with everyone?

How much have you missed, lets see if I can recap...

T - grandpa passed away:hug:

Jen2 - moved back home

Rachel - is making everyone itch talking about lice:scared:

V - Leo is loving horse camp

LL - Michael broke his arm:sad2:

Jen1 - is writing her TR

Kat - is showing us all up and prepping for the trip:headache: :headache: LY Kat:goodvibes AND she started a PTR.

Lessa - her dad is moving to BC.

CE - is in the midwest

Angela booked a mini-trip for her and her DH.

I forget everything else...can anyone else fill in the blanks.:confused3

Where have Kat and Tanya been?

No it's not crazy...I wish I could decide that far in advance what I want to cook for dinner so I could do the same thing,:thumbsup2

I have looked into the Syracuse to Seattle deal it is about $400 for a flight, not bad for cross country. We would then have to rent a car though and deal with the hassle of crossing the border four times in one trip. The city my dad wants to move to isn't close to the border either like the city where my Grandma lives. So basically the costs would be about the same once all was said and done with.

I'm sure we will visit every few years with him coming here or us going there but it definitely will not be a frequent thing unless somebody in the family becomes a millionaire! :lmao:

Evening Fockers!
Swim lessons went great this morning. Gus was really paying attention and that made me smile!

In laws still haven't called to tell me what's going on. They have 24 hours left.... I did call the sitter anyway though and gave her a heads up. We just got home from music lessons. DS15 was so excited tonight! His instructor was asking him last week if he had tried to figure out any songs on the guitar alone yet. He said, just one and it was pretty hard. He said, bring in the music next week and we'll work on it. So tonight he surprised him with teaching him the whole song and playing it with him!!! Ds was thrilled!!

Bob isn't home yet. He's working late tonight so I don't know when he'll be here. He has a terrible cold though so I hope it's not too late.

I can't wait for FF. I need another vacation already!

:lmao:

It involves a lot of crock pot cooking and leftovers, if that helps any. lol.

He played "Pork and Beans" by Weezer. :goodvibes

They're my favorite band, so I'm pretty excited for him!
(If you don't know the song, just go to Youtube and search it...)

Thanks Jen - I needed to hear that, too!

Is it seriously messed-up that I'm jealous?! :rotfl:

[/IMG]

My parents are in town right now and my mom cooked dinner. Yummy! I'm glad she doesn't live with me, though.

Mel - thanks for all the car info. We've been considering a new car. We have an Expedition that we have wanted to get rid of for a while - even before the gas got so bad. We hate the way it drives. We were considering an Acura RDX or MDX, but you have to fill them with premium. My other car is a TL and I love it. I like the Subaru Tribeca, but dh said he doesn't know much about Subaru and is unsure about buying one.

I also like the Saturn Vue and Outlook. I've never been much of a Saturn fan because when I was a claims adjuster, every Saturn I saw - even ones in minor accidents - would have frame damage. I think they make them better now, though. My friend who is still a claims adjuster says he thinks they are made better now, too - from what he's seen in more recent accidents.
