Oh he is a Cutie..

Well then I"M NOT GOING EITHER:mad:

Well back from the doctor and will be heading out for Bugs swim lessons soon. The doctor said the rash was infected. She gave us some meds and wants Nana to come back on Monday. She also did not seem to convinced it will be cleared up by the time we go to WDW and Nana has her first set of Senior pictures taken :scared1:.

Charley is a sweet puppy name! And he is cute too!

Mel- Up and at um hun? Are you relaxing those baby blues too? (do you have blue eyes or brown?)

V- YIPPEE! You are MY HERO! Down 4.5... you go girl! :worship:

Kat- Did you send me something too? Whachu talkin bout Willis?

What am I missing? GIRLS WEEKEND?????? ME ME ME ME ME! I don't bite, can I come????? It's not in AUGUST is it? Death-gust hot-gust?

Mel - Had to have her eye needled again, but she is fine today

TE - Waiting for her hearing aid to be adjusted

V - Leo started horse camp and doesn't like cleaning horse poop.

Parla and Jodi have a meet today (and 1 of them MAY remeber to take a pic)

Lessa - Is trying to make a decison on whether she should go to nursing school.

Kat - started her PTR

CE - Is in the midwest, but has been checking in sporadically

Jo - Emma is moving to NYC and the girls are upset. Also she ONLY came in 3rd in her tournament.

Jen1 is being stalked

Jen2 has an interview on Friday

That's all I can remember. Can anyone else fill int the blanks.:confused3
Thanks ,Janet! Not quite so lost now...
Okay, I owe you all a huge THANK YOU!!!! :grouphug: Here's why...

After two weeks of eating right and exercising, and losing 2.5lbs... and then doing the same but gaining it back, I was ready to quit and eat an entire cheesecake.

But I didn't. Thanks in large part to all of your helpful suggestions and positive feedback, I stayed the course and kept on doing what I'd been doing.

And it paid off! As of today that 2.5lbs. are gone again... along with another 2lbs.!!!

As you can see, I'm not very motivated and there's no doubt I'd have eaten the cake without you all, so thank you so much for helping me do the right thing. :goodvibes
WTG ,V!! I weighed this morning.I have gained 15 lbs since the kids got out of school.:sad2:

He is adorable!!

We have been really busy around here so I haven't been on in a long time. The kids go to camp next week and then back to school the week after that.:scared: School supplies, clothes, camp stuff,etc...Plus I am getting everything together to turn in my application for substitute teaching and getting Peyton's meds straightened out before school starts back. And I have been doing some intense behavior modification with Rachel. If I don't straighten that child out she will be kicked out of school. The other morning I told her to do her chores and she said " screw that ,mama".:scared1: Her brother got in trouble for that one.He said it on the phone to a friend and she listens to EVERYTHING!

He could be fun...if he had anything more interesting to discuss than the History Channel...:confused3

So he should date my DH? :confused3

How come TE isn't having as much fun as Evan? :rolleyes1

So as you all know right now I am set to do a one year Human Resources program starting in September. I am now waffling on that and seriously thinking about going into nursing instead. I would be earning a second degree if I did that and it would mean 4 more years of school unless I am able to get credit for some courses that I took while earning my first degree. I haven't decided yet, if I do go this route I wouldn't be starting school again until next fall! My big hang-up with this plan is that I would be almost 30 by the time I finished with school. :faint: I would have spent just over a decade of my life in university. I just don't know if it is a good idea or not or whether I would even get into the program. :confused3

DH is a pharmacist and they are in very high demand. His company services nursing homes and assisted living facilities, so don't think just retail. I know people, in Orlando, if that's what you decide to do! :rolleyes1 Good luck!

He also nominated "cleaning horse poop" his least favorite.

Maybe he'd like it better if they called it mucking the stalls. :rotfl2:

This reminds me of Harry Potter for some reason. :confused3

Great news. I have an interview this Friday with an agency...that pays great...and is an early intervention agency for birth to 3...my favorite age group! YAY!

Good luck! :thumbsup2

So now I am watching the Tudors again. I can't seem to get into it really but I'm still watching it because Jonathan Ryes Myers is HOT:lovestruc . Maybe it's because to me it seems like a drawn out version of "The Other Boylen Girl" (which i really liked). :confused3 I also dl-ed "Brotherhood" and "Rome" so we'll prob get to those this weekend. Anyone watch?

We started watching The Tudors before TOBG so maybe that's why we like it. LOVE Brotherhood. :thumbsup2 Never seen Rome.

So stinkin' cute!

Wooooo! That would have sent jen over the hill! I MEAN O V E R! This momma doesn't put up no....!

YOU GO GIRL FOR NICKIN this behavior NOW! :cool1:

Not August, Columbus Day Weekend...2009:thumbsup2

Is that OCT? You mean the OCT, in which we have FALL break? You mean the OCT, in which Jen took her son LY?

Have fun you two and we expect lots of photos :goodvibes

It was fun! I will try to post lots of pics below. It is taking a while to upload them... my son fancied himself a photographer today. I think we have a bunch of pics of Lauren making faces and Jodi has a bunch of my DS making faces. :rotfl:

Make sure to do the meet "run" and take a picture! :thumbsup2

Oops, we didn't do a "run." Jodi just walked up behind me and asked if I was me and that was it. I don't run. ;)

Can't remember whose baby got her ears pierced, but she's adorable! :cutie:

I think that was mine. I don't think of her as a baby though so I was confused at first. :rotfl:

And it paid off! As of today that 2.5lbs. are gone again... along with another 2lbs.!!!

 Hooray! Congrats!

OK...I was just on Disney site and I was looking up things for our Christmas trip. And guess what!

No MVMCP while we were there...it ends the 19th and we don't come until the 23rd. SOOOO...

what do I do with Jon?

I want some sort of neat event for us to do. What?

Doesn't that suck?!? Our soccer coach went last Christmas and was telling me how they had to change their plans and head down a couple of days early since a big part of why they were going was for the MVMCP. I want to go at Christmas but there's no way we could get there before the 23 in any given year and missing the party makes me sad.

I think Charley is a perfect name. He's so cute!

Don't revoke my DIS card...but what in tarnation is HDDR? Hoop Dee Doo Review? Cuz I've heard it called Poop Dee Doo Review? You ever done it? :confused3

We really liked HDDR! I don't know about it being a Christmasy thing but we would like to go again at some point in the future. It was a really good show.

Applesauce Muffins

Thanks, I love trying new recipes. Well, at least printing them out sticking them in a folder and planning to try them... :rotfl:

The doctor said the rash was infected. She gave us some meds and wants Nana to come back on Monday. She also did not seem to convinced it will be cleared up by the time we go to WDW and Nana has her first set of Senior pictures taken :scared1:.

Oh no!!!!! I hope Nana has a miraculous recovery for her pictures.

I think I will post Zoo Focker Meet pics in a different post since I'm still trying to upload the photos.

Congrats on the weight loss V!! From the pictures I`ve seen of you, you didnt have any to lose,,but thats good about not eating the whole cheesecake!

Mel. thanks for the muffin recipe! I`ll try it...we picked some of the blueberries but only enough for a half of muffin, and they are the really tiny ones,so I added some frozen ones and Annie just put the batter in a 9x9 cake pan,,,Sam said they taste funny,,

YOU GO GIRL FOR NICKIN this behavior NOW! :cool1:

She actually isn't too bad but some of the things she says are over the top.She picks up on everything we(as in my DH,me and DS12) says and she is a four year old in a teen body.We always say don't ask Rachel a question unless you want an honest answer.

I asked her teacher what she could work on over the summer so we have been working on her suggestions. Her biggest thing is sitting(barely can),walking(runs everywhere) and listening(no you CAN'T talk and listen at the same time). Also not always saying EVERYTHING you think.Yesterday my neice said "do you like my new shoes ,Rachel?":scared1: Rachel said" No,the pink looks like medicine I threw up."She really wasn't being ugly, she just says whatever she thinks.

Jen2,I thought of Jon when I saw this picture. This is my neice with Rachel. My neice is 8 yrs old ,weighs 40 lbs and wears a 4/5 in clothes.

Okay, your DD is the little on, right?

She looks an amazingly like my cousins dd, who is now like 13. OMG! I thought it was her in that picture.

Look at it this way...your dd will not be letting anyone walk on her! No sirry! My Tink is a lot like her... we are pulling the reins on her, as I type! PULLING HARD!

__________________________

I still can't get me current TR to plug into my siggie! It keeps throwing my old one in there...:headache: I sent my loyal Tanya an email. I know she'll pop up after I type this. Always does!:cloud9:

Is that OCT? You mean the OCT, in which we have FALL break? You mean the OCT, in which Jen took her son LY?

What's in October? Is it still the girls meet? Cuz I'm meetin' ya'll if I have to stalk you to your doorstep. ;)

Jen2,I thought of Jon when I saw this picture. This is my neice with Rachel. My neice is 8 yrs old ,weighs 40 lbs and wears a 4/5 in clothes.

Thank goodness he's bigger than that. He wears a size 7, I put him in an 8 to make him "cool" like the other kids. :lmao: He doesn't like tight anything...sensory issues.

The other day, we were at the park...and a kid walked up to him. They were talking and the other kid...who was bigger than Jon...goes, "How old are you."

Jon said 12.

The other kid laughed and said he was only 8. Gee, thanks for that boost of confidence.

Yes,Rachel is the little one.:cutie: You are right,no one will mess with her.Pulling the reins,I like the way you put it.She is extremely head strong and hyper.

I plan on checking out your report after the kids go to bed.:surfweb:

Mel- Up and at um hun? Are you relaxing those baby blues too? (do you have blue eyes or brown?)
They're very patriotic right now, Jen. Red, white and BLUE. :lmao:

I have been doing some intense behavior modification with Rachel. If I don't straighten that child out she will be kicked out of school. The other morning I told her to do her chores and she said " screw that ,mama".:scared1: Her brother got in trouble for that one.He said it on the phone to a friend and she listens to EVERYTHING!
HI Amy! :wave2: Missed you!
Your little Rachel sounds like my nephew, Tim. He's got the same type of personality. He evened out pretty much by the time he was 7 or 8 but he's still the kind of kid who does NOT sugar coat anything!
Honesty is refreshing, right!? :confused3 :lmao:

Oops, we didn't do a "run." Jodi just walked up behind me and asked if I was me and that was it. I don't run. ;)

Ok, but what about for Zombies?

You're welcome! The double batch made 19 muffins. DH took 3 to Indy with him (his dinner, poor baby) and Ds's ate about 5 or 6 so far. I had two, they were SO good!
Not too many left!

Thanks for the compliments on Charley! :goodvibes

You are welcome on Charley and the muffins!

YAY! Mango Margaritas! I have some left too....maybe I'll join you Carrie!
OMG, your dinner sounds YUMMMMY!
-----------

Well, I made dinner. I wasn't going to but Mommy Guilt got me. I was sitting thinking what to order in and realized that DS15 has had pizza for dinner and lunch for the last 3 days. OMG. I made turkey burgers, sweet potato fries and green beans from the garden. They had another muffin each for dessert and a big glass of milk. OK, my guilt is gone! Now I'm going to drink Mango Margaritas and watch Nancy Drew with them. I hope it holds their interest. SD's in a foul mood and I don't feel like dealing with his 15 year old attitude right now.
I feel like calling my mother an apologizing for being a brat when I was 15. I must have been one, as I can't think of a single 15 yr old who isn't! Mine are good kids, don't get in trouble and don't fight. BUT, they are way too open with their "preferences." I'm not sure what I said or did that gave them the idea that I care if they "DON'T want TO do SOMETHING."
