What's in October? Is it still the girls meet? Cuz I'm meetin' ya'll if I have to stalk you to your doorstep. ;)

Thank goodness he's bigger than that. He wears a size 7, I put him in an 8 to make him "cool" like the other kids. :lmao: He doesn't like tight anything...sensory issues.

The other day, we were at the park...and a kid walked up to him. They were talking and the other kid...who was bigger than Jon...goes, "How old are you."

Jon said 12.

The other kid laughed and said he was only 8. Gee, thanks for that boost of confidence.

Peyton is almost eleven and wears size 8.He could still wear a size 7 but he likes his shorts to go to his knees. His bathing suit is a size 5/6.He was standing in the middle of Rebekah's softball team and looked at me and said"they are all bigger than me!".they weren't ALL bigger than him but they are an 8under team.Peyton has sensory issues but its the opposite with him.He can't stand for clothes to be big on him which makes it hard because he is so thin.He hates that Rebekah is so much bigger than him and he is the older one.The Dr. thinks she will be 6 feet tall.

Amy- your niece is tiny! C's 7 and 45 pounds with a full belly! :lmao: I moved her 5s, and sometimes 6s when it's a dress so you can't see her underwear peeking out! :sad2: But she had on some 4T shorts the other day.

Well, I made dinner. I wasn't going to but Mommy Guilt got me. I was sitting thinking what to order in and realized that DS15 has had pizza for dinner and lunch for the last 3 days. OMG. I made turkey burgers, sweet potato fries and green beans from the garden. They had another muffin each for dessert and a big glass of milk. OK, my guilt is gone! Now I'm going to drink Mango Margaritas and watch Nancy Drew with them. I hope it holds their interest. SD's in a foul mood and I don't feel like dealing with his 15 year old attitude right now.
I feel like calling my mother an apologizing for being a brat when I was 15. I must have been one, as I can't think of a single 15 yr old who isn't! Mine are good kids, don't get in trouble and don't fight. BUT, they are way too open with their "preferences." I'm not sure what I said or did that gave them the idea that I care if they "DON'T want TO do SOMETHING."

MEL:banana:

Dude...Jon is hitting prenager. He has turned 12...and suddenly he has an opinion on everything.

The other day...his attitude was foul. FOUL!

He kept on and kept on...and he finally said something (I don't even remember what now) and I said:

"Jon, I don't care. Now hush."

He pops back with:

"You don't care about anything."

He is beginning to answer back...

I give him the mean look and right now...he'll pop back in line. But oh my goodness...he needs to just shut his trap sometimes.

Girl, I hear ya!

Mine is SO mouthy! I can't believe it because he's always been the quiet one who wouldn't EVER say boo!

Today, I said, "I didn't yell at you. I said I don't appreciate it when you answer me like that." He said, "Like what? You never shut up so I CAN answer you!"

OMG. :scared1: Who is this kid?

MEL

TANYA!!! WHOOO HOOO? HELLO? I lost my ticker and all...where did it go?
You gotta find it!Or post a link because I was about to read it.:surfweb:
They're very patriotic right now, Jen. Red, white and BLUE. :lmao:

HI Amy! :wave2: Missed you!
Your little Rachel sounds like my nephew, Tim. He's got the same type of personality. He evened out pretty much by the time he was 7 or 8 but he's still the kind of kid who does NOT sugar coat anything!
Honesty is refreshing, right!? :confused3 :lmao:

Ok, but what about for Zombies?

You're welcome! The double batch made 19 muffins. DH took 3 to Indy with him (his dinner, poor baby) and Ds's ate about 5 or 6 so far. I had two, they were SO good!
Not too many left!

You are welcome on Charley and the muffins!

YAY! Mango Margaritas! I have some left too....maybe I'll join you Carrie!
OMG, your dinner sounds YUMMMMY!

Sorry about your eyes.
Well you always know where you stand with Rachel.
Oh and you made me feel guilty.I need to send my kids to you for a healthy meal.:sad2:
Fifteen year old attitude.:scared1: If Rachel has this much attitude at 4 I can't imagine...

Yes,she is tiny.I went school shopping with her yesterday and it was hard to find clothes for her that looked like something a third grader would wear. She can still wear 3T shorts but they are way too short. We found that she can wear 6slim in jeans as long as it has adjustable waist.Everything else was 4/5

I am right there with both of you.My boys are almost 13 and 11 and my almost eleven year old(Peyton) has an answer for EVERYTHING.All it takes is a look for Tyler but Peyton gives me a look right back.

I think they reappear once they turn 18. At least that's what I hear...

then our Super Target opens today and I want to wander around there a bit. :lovestruc

I  Super Target!!!! I never get out of there under $50 though, so I try to limit my visits!

I do live in OH right now but I am on the OH/WV border. I can look out my back door and see the WV side. Plus then I'm about 20 minutes from the PA border.

Here's a pic from photobucket to describe it. See on the left side the big area covered in buildings...that's Wheeling, WV. Then on the right side that little small patch with the little town...that where I live in OH.

wheeling.jpg

I think I've driven over that bridge! When DH and I lived in VA, we made the drive back to Indiana often to visit family. I thought it was awesome to cross so many state lines so quickly. Unfortunately, Ohio took forever....

Heres pictures of Charley,,,thats his name for today,,we`ve been through, Sammy, Henry, Wally, Billy, :sad2:

I still think you should name him Hollis..... :rotfl2:

So, Carla and I had a great time at the zoo today. I don't have my pics uploaded yet, but I will post a few tonight. My DD4 and Carla's DS9 became good friends. They were holding hands half the afternoon. :goodvibes

Hey Mel!!! Did you receive a delivery yet??? Or since DH is down here, maybe I should have just given it to him! Let me know when you receive it!

Ok, but what about for Zombies?

No, I would use a chainsaw. :rotfl:

This sounds like DD5. She has actually said, "You don't care about anything." when I've gotten tired of all the whining and said, "I don't care." to her. She can really lay on the whining... ask Jodi... :rotfl:

Rachel will say"you would if you loved me.." when I tell her no about something.

We lived in Southlake, which was close to Keller. We had friends that lived there and would be at their house all the time. We were in TX from June 2005-July 2006.

And I grew up all the way up in the northern part of the state in Wheeling.

We lived in VA when we first got married becaue the ex was in the Marine Corps and stationed at Quantico. Our first apartment was in Dale City and then we moved to Fredericksburg. He then got stationed at the Pentagon and we moved to Arlington.

Being married to him we have lived all over, I'm thankful that the kids and I are settled now and won't be moving for a LONG time!

:

Wow--Southlake was very close and Carroll is a good school district. We liked the Keller area but would have moved out a bit for more land if we had stayed. After that we moved to Charlotte (Ct prior to that). Actually had a job offer in Wheeling sometime in all that but turned it down. I did learn it's about 5 hours from here! :thumbsup2

.....and I hope to not move again either. BA had 4 elementary schools by the 4th grade......but she's very outgoing and adept at making new friends so I guess no longterm damage.

=++++++

whilst I took BA to the hairdresser, the pup chewed hunks out of my new coffee table AND chewed the cord off my iron. Ab was supposed to be watching him but fell asleep. I'm really ticked-------and I'm NOT getting enough of an apology to suit me.

I'm off to drop the kids at VBS and then sign Tink up for her Fall Dance classes before they are all filled up. Be back later girls!

Thought I'd show ya'll where I'm living now.

We went down to Old Town Albuquerque and walked around.

First we went into the Christmas Shoppe. Here is a native tree...hung in chiles...;)

And there you go. My new home town. I'm so freakin' homesick for my cows.

Is that OCT? You mean the OCT, in which we have FALL break? You mean the OCT, in which Jen took her son LY?

::yes::

Jen... You can stalk me anytime baby! I like stalkers!:)

Me too;)

SD's in a foul mood and I don't feel like dealing with his 15 year old attitude right now.

You mean it doesn't get any better from being a 4 year old:scared1:

I feel like calling my mother an apologizing for being a brat when I was 15.

Hey TE, how is your dad doing?

Thought I'd show ya'll where I'm living now.

Loved this section when I was there....Isn't there a hanging tree there too. A tree that used to be used for publiuc hangings?

I will have see if I can dig out my pics, scan them and post them!:thumbsup2

OK...how do you guys see my pictures. Because I adjusted them in photobucket...and rotated them...and a few of them are still big on here and rotated wrong. WTH???

It's still here. It's now used for Christmas lights...much better on the heart! :confused3

DS took sooooo many pictures today and I'm not at all comfortable in my storytelling abilities (or punctuation skills, thanks V) so I will just add a comment above each picture.

Our day at the Indianapolis Zoo with ncsjodi...

We got there a little early and decided to visit with all of our favorite animals in the Plains area. First up was the Zebra. My son took no less than ten pictures of each animal so I have lots of pics to chose from. Most of them blurry and of rear ends for some reason. I took this nice snapshot of a zebra myself, then the fight for the camera began.

I also took this picture of an ostrich walking. I thought it looked like he was dancing.

Except for the smell, this is the life. Photo courtesy of DS.
1001451sj6.jpg

My DS and DD. They really can get along. For about two seconds.

DS and DD again...
1001462zz0.jpg

I think she wants us to scratch her belly!
1001468xu0.jpg

Elephant... Jodi, which one is this? You seemed to know A LOT about the elephants. ;)
1001479ft4.jpg

Tie me kangaroo down!
1001474bf9.jpg

Makes me wish I was back at AKL. So did the zebras for that matter.

DD feeding a giraffe.

Here's an elephant getting a bath. I snapped this one quickly before DS started whining for the camera again. I'm glad I did. The rest of the elephant pics are just little bits of the elephant. He even had a chance to get the elephant looking right at us but at the time he was taking a picture of the lady scrubbing her side. :rotfl:
1001530rs6.jpg

I thought it was cute that DD was holding Jodi's DD's hand while Jodi pulled the wagon.
1001535jq5.jpg

OMG! It's a picture of two Fockers!
1001550hb6.jpg

One of the many pictures on my camera of Jodi's DD taking a picture of my son while he was taking a picture of her.:rotfl:
1001557rj4.jpg

Aaaah, who wants to be left out of the hand holding?
1001577xu4.jpg

One lonely polar bear.
1001582ww9.jpg

Last animals of the day... sea lions.
1001586ok3.jpg

The whole gang.
1001595gs4.jpg

Just the kiddos. Come on kiddo, smile! :goodvibes
1001596iv9.jpg

THE END

Thanks for the great day Jodi. It felt like we were old friends that did this all the time. Sorry about DD's whining, I know she would have stopped if I bought the Dippin' Dots but I just couldn't after the wasting of the $3 hot dog. ;)

OK...how do you guys see my pictures. Because I adjusted them in photobucket...and rotated them...and a few of them are still big on here and rotated wrong. WTH???

They are fine for me. Right side up and not huge:thumbsup2

It's still here. It's now used for Christmas lights...much better on the heart! :confused3

:lmao: As a law enforcement person I liked the hanging tree:thumbsup2

Our day at the Indianapolis Zoo with ncsjodi...

Sounds like a fun day:thumbsup2

The whole gang.
