I'm home. The needling went well. It hurts but the pressure went down from 28 to 13! He said that's really good news because it means the scar tissue was exterior and maybe some "middle" but not interior which would have necessitated another eye surgery.

SO glad it went well, Mel.

Gluv: Hope this helps. Bob and I bought in January. We bought 160 pts. They gave us a "matching pts bonus" of 160 pts. The way they do this as by making your use year something soon (rather than making you wait a FULL year till your actual purchase month anniversary came around) The sales guy made our use year JUNE 07. That meant that we got 160 pts for June of 07, which expired on June 30 08, 160 new pts for June 08 which expired on June 30 09 and then added 100 developer pts.

I banked our June o7 pts right away to so that we could use them past June 08. The other points were already good till 09 so no worries there. The developer pts (100) were only good till for a limited time ( I think for a couple of months..) and they were NOT able to be banked.

They also don't show up on your dvcmember site online...which made for very confusing times when we were trying to check our wait list for BCV for June. If and when you finally finish all this, I would say that you need to SPECIFY that you are using developer points FIRST to book any trips. The ressie people at DVC are trained to NOT look for those pts (they don't show up on THEIR screens either) and if you don't tell them to use those pts first for your ressies, you'll end up using your points that are good/and or bankable for a trip that you COULD have used the developer ones for that expire!!!

:headache: :confused3 :headache:
My in-laws tried explaining all this to me two weeks ago. I swear I don't know how you guys keep up with it.

Well, hello Dolly!
It looks like tropical storm Dolly is headed to the TX & Mexico border via the Gulf. We should only get a good rain here  , but I hope that it's pretty mild and there's a minimal amount of damage everywhere else. :guilty:
Stay safe. :goodvibes

Golf went OK, I came about 3rd so OK. On the way home I told the girls about Em moving and they were devastated lots of tears, I didn't know what to say really! My Mum said think of all the lovely vacations, but as a kid would you be interested in visiting NY? Nope they're not either!

Oh,   for the girls.

And just so you know, Jo, I won Wii golf yesterday.:thumbsup2 Stayed out of the water this time and everything :rotfl2: That's got to count for something, right?

Just saw that - stay safe!

I know house prices are ridiculous here! We bought our very first house 14 years ago, it was a small 2 bed end of terrace, we bought it for $111,000 and we struggled to raise that much, well the exact same house sold last year for $410,000 ridiculous, the young buyers just can't get onto the housing ladder :sad2:
WOW!!! Has everything gone up that much, or just the housing market?
On the way home I told the girls about Em moving and they were devastated lots of tears, I didn't know what to say really!
I'm so sorry Jo, and Ellie, and Jess!

Kat- You need to put him in a figure four leg lock! :lmao: He was already released, I read.
I have the HSM show recorded. We should watch it later. The girls are watching the finale of Legally Blonde. I watched it last night. :thumbsup2

I watched that too! I'm not too crazy about Legally Blonde the show but I wanted tos ee who they would end up putting in it. i was not happy with the results tho. The finale was good tho!

World of Disney:rolleyes1

Believe it or not I have applied there before and no dice! I even sent a letter once explaining my love for disney and how I would be an asset to the store, etc. KC knows 2 people who work there tho so you never know. I don't know if I can physically do it tho. I am def going to apply to a local books store tho!

What for this time???? Oh and you forgot me :snooty:

Welll EXCUSE ME !!! :snooty: I did say I was Sorry IN ADVANCE :sad2: :sad1: :guilty: .. ....after all.... I was catching up on 9 pages of stuff I knew I probably left off half the gals
Like G-Luv.. she did not get on my case :cool2:
And Janet... did I even say Hi Janet... :headache: Not sure ARRRRG
Just call me "LEGALLY GREY !!!!"
Well she has a double trouble brewing in little girl world.
A kidney infection... her first one.. and a BAD RASH..
Not a good combo.:sad2:
She can't have Cranberry juice.. ALLERGIC :scared:
She spent a good part of yesterday afternoon sitting in water to ease the rash..Cream I used on her.. burned like fire ants.. this cream Dr gave me is not as bad.."lotrisome" .. and today the rash is not as bad mostly from sitting in the water.

Katt- No tatoos for my kids! If I can stop them, anyway... :sad2: Hopefully when they see how gross mine looks on a saggy belly, they'll be scared and never try it. :lmao:

Jo- :grouphug: for your girls.

Jodi- That sounds so cool! I skipped the field trip to the homestead near here because of gas prices, but I'm thinking we'll go when we get to that time period this year or next. :thumbsup2

Thanks for safe wishes. We should be fine. We're 3 hours from the gulf. :goodvibes

Hello! Working hard in the mornings and running BA to band in the afternoon. I'm tired.:sad2:

...typing large for the visually impaired..........;)

Did I see (no pun....) that Mel got back from glaucoma surgery?? I'm sure you are glad it's over. You seem really young for glaucoma??? My SIL has increasing pressure due to a past Lasix which has me sceered to try that (well......that plus a needle in my eye and a $3K price tag. ).

Tanya--Hey! I've been around but working too.

Lessa----go talk to some nurse friends first.......nursing is a much needed profession, BUT it's not for everyone. New nurses get crappy shifts (nites/all weekends/holidays) and deal with a lot of crap (literally and figuratively!) There is a high degree of burn out in the profession. Not trying to discourage, but I think people go into cause they know they can always get a job...then they hate it.

++++++++++=
what else is up?

.....she should move to Orlando instead! :lmao:

My girls are dying to go to NYC---maybe this Christmas. They talk constantly about which play to see (both want to see Phantom.....I want to see a Disney one. ).
We went a bunch when I lived in CT, so I haven't been as anxious to go back, but it's something to see.

Did I read right that you can go back up in the Statue of Lib??

Jodi- That sounds like a fun adventure - the lighting!:scared:

Dawn- How close to the ocean are you? Do you need to hunker down?

Jo- I am so sorry for the girls.  AND you! Maybe show them some pictures of NYC. It is a really cool place to visit. I went there as a child and had a great time!

Kat- Really the World of Disney didn't want you? CRAZY! Did you even get an interview?

Katt- OMG! POOR BABY! Tink get bad rashes down unda and they are a problem to deal with!

Hi EVERYONE!:)
_________
Anyone help me?? I have several pictures of my DS, from our mommy & son trip which I need to blur his name. It was his b-day, so he was wearing his b-day button the whole time...which splattered his IRL name...right across his chest. I am just about ready to post my TR (I have been working on it tirelessly to get ahead before I post it).

We visited the living history center today. It's called Conner Prairie and is only about 1 1/2 miles from our house. They have a town set up like it's the year 1836 and people in costume that act like the people then. It was really fun, although my girls are a bit young, I think. They were more interested in running around than listening to what the people were sharing about their lives or their trades, etc. We watched some women spinning wool and some men making doors for a new building that's going up in August. We also got to see some baby animals, including some lambs that are only 1 week old. It was a lot of fun, but I think I may go back by myself sometime to spend more time just experiencing it, if you know what I mean.
Sounds like fun, kids don't appreciate stuff though do they :rotfl2: Oh and scary about the lightening!

And just so you know, Jo, I won Wii golf yesterday.:thumbsup2 Stayed out of the water this time and everything :rotfl2: That's got to count for something, right?
Great :yay: So what was your score??

WOW!!! Has everything gone up that much, or just the housing market?
Mainly the housing market, there are lots of problems at the moment, houses not selling, people being repossesed :sad2: Oh and thanks for the hugs!

Yeah but I thought you loved me the mostest :sad1: ;) :rotfl2: Hope Sara's rash gets better

Jo- :grouphug: for your girls.
Thanks :goodvibes

I wish :rotfl2:

What I do Jen is get the photo up on my PC and open it with paint, I then use a spray paint or a thick brush or anything, have a play, then save and add to photobucket as normal :thumbsup2

Photobucket has editing options that allow to pinch and swirl any area they you need to distort.

Jen- No we're near San Antonio. We'll hopefully just get some good rain since we're on drought restrictions.

I wish I could help, but I don't know how to do that smearing thing people do... :confused3
Good luck!
