I HATE VERIZON!!!!!! 35 minutes on hold to dipute some crazy charge on my bill and the guy has the nerve to say I made the calls that resulted in the charges....

Just a few days ago I got the cell phone bill (Murph is on my plan).

When she was in Mexico, she called a couple of times to check in, I get the bill and one call is ther 2x, same date, time # of minutes. Clearly it was the same call billed 2x.

So I call, sit on hold, blah, blah , blah and the conversation goes:


Me: I see I was billed 2x for the same international call
Verizon: I don't see how that could happen
Me: Please pull up my current bill and look at the bottom of page 5 ( I know from past experience then can so this and scroll through and see page #'s)
Ver: Ok what do you want me to look at
me: the duplicate charge on the bottom of page 5
Ver: OH, how did that happen
me:

At least they didn't try to argue it at that point, but c'mon!

Now let's see if it's fixed on the next bill!

So I'm thinking about what I'm gonna do...

Nope DD.. we had out the tonsils in October.. but we have it again. It is hitting her different ( no tonsills) but she has the Virus. 2 kids.. Strep :

Amazing as it sounds... there are people in America that can not Name the VP or Speaker of the house.
They do not know who would be president if Both the President and the VP were eliminated... much less who is #4 in line for the Pesidency. So I can assume that not all People in the UK... know the "Order of the Throne"

I love Mel's ideas about wyas to stay in touch. Will they also be able to visit reasonably often? Change is hard, but Jon is learning the skills to cope with it - good stuff for later on in life.

Jen2- I was going to ask about Lilo moving too. It's hard to move. I know it was a big thing for B when we moved here.

I'm not feeling chatty much the last few days. Today is my last day to have solid food for the week. My friend and I are going to lunch with the kids for my last hurrah. I've been so sick to my stomach, I probably won't enjoy it anyway.

So, nothing going on here. I have almost everything crossed off my list of things to do by Friday except working on my TR and Flat Dawn. I also need to get the puppy's nails trimmed. I don't need those claws jumping on me when I get home!

I am "re-reading" New Moon myself (audiobooks). I soaked up all the trailers for the movie and I am so annoyed its so darn far from now! The guy playing Edward is pretty hot!
When he plays on the paid service (he has a server his friends set up he uses too) he plays on Hellscream as Alliance. He just discovered a game he started out playing (similar to WoW) called Tantra is free to pay now so he may go back to that , for this week anyways.

Kat, don't you love love love the guy they picked for Edward?! Yummo. He played Cedric Diggery in Harry Potter....
Oh, and DH said to tell KC he and the boys are Alliance on Gorgonash. Please let us know how your Rice Cream comes out!

Thanks for the ideas. Jon does have a cell phone...he is a spoiled rotten kiddo! And he does call a million times a day...already. He just had a "realization" of sorts last night.

Thanks for the encouragement. You are right...the hardest things to do aren't always the easiest.

Lilo will not move with us...I begged him to come because I can't stand to have him alone. BUT...he's a stubborn old fool. And my mother and his divorce was NOT pretty. He doesn't want to be in the same city as she...even if there are a million other people here. But, we're not far...and can visit often.



You're right...a wonderful way to teach. I just can't get over being so darn protective...

yep! I think the Other Boleyn is the best, but they're all pretty good. The Virgin's Lover was my least fav.

Hello to everyone!!!! I'm home. We drove (really DH drove) for 12 hours straight from Chattanooga to Michigan. WHEW. I'm going to start the TR soon... You guys are gonna love the pics! Totally cool!
