Pool time always trumps just about anything else I could offer the boys, too. Although #3 told me last night he wanted to go with his brothers to play lacrosse so he could "sweat out his cold"

I don't know where he gets this stuff.
So there we are, #'s 1 and 2 playing "Indian" and #3 running around like a loon when the thunder started. It seemed far away, but I was watching. You know, three boys, an open field, aluminum sticks...So as it got louder I started to make my way over to where the older boys were playing and this lady comes up to me and says "How long are you going to let this go on?"
Pardon?
"Just how long are you going to make them play in the lightening? I can't believe it! I've seen five strikes over there and you're letting them play!"
She was seriously yelling at me.
Granted, I had on my Charleston LaCrosse t-shirt, primarily because I was cleaning the house yesterday and it's a good house cleaning shirt. But this lady was flipping and she thought little ol' me was in charge

Finally I said "I'm just a parent."
So she grabbed her child off the field and shoved her in the car.
