Hey CE - You are almost caught up:thumbsup2

I AM caught up! :thumbsup2 Of course, I have to go shower (nope, haven't done that yet today :rotfl: ) in 10 minutes and leave the house in 30, probably not to return until late-ish tonight, so I'll be behind again soon. :rotfl2:

that just sounds SO wrong! :lmao:

I know, but it's funny... :rotfl: :goodvibes

All right, I'm out again. See ya later or tomorrow or something. We have a tennis lesson in the morning followed by an afternoon playdate. Who needs camp? :hyper: ;)

Jo tried to golf with a 9lb lemon, which I don't understand becasue it wouldn't fir in that little hole:confused3 :lmao:
That's why I didn't score well ;) :rotfl2:

:wave2:

And of course, even though they were up late and it was the first free morning in a long time, they got up an hour earlier than they would for school. And fought like cats and dogs so that I had to get up and intervene. (They are allowed to come downstairs and play or watch TV if they want, without us.)
It does get better, I don't hear a thing from my 2 now!

Nope.I quit in May and will NOT be returning.I miss my babies but thirteen years of diapers is enough.
I can totally understand and the runny noses too

Other than that its a boring old Wednesday.
I found a website with some cool games on it Kat it's king dot com and I like bejewelled, it's pretty tough, well for me anyway :rotfl2:
Hope this isn't too small.I am in the middle with my best friend on the left and my SIL on the right.Jo,you probably remember my SIL from the PEEPS thread,Harleygirl.

It is a bit small Amy but you look lovely and so brown, it's obviously sitting at all those sporting events :rotfl2:

I forgot to add that I'm making home made bread today.
How did it turn out?

I think we have a junior Focker!!!!
I think she's taking after her Auntie :thumbsup2

Hi just back from thwe graduation and lunch! It went well the girls looked great in their new outfits and jewelry, they are getting so mature looking ( note I said looking) The real surprise was a gal I used to work with who has moved to Fla was there and we had a ball catching up and just plain laughing!! Than it got better her cousin works at Universal and she can get us FREE passes next year! DD is sooooo excited as she wanted to give Universal a try!!
The graduation sounded lovely Rosie and free passes, you lucky thing :goodvibes

Here's baby Bear (his brother was bouncing on top of him on Sunday)..........BTW---I need a nap now--this is like having a new baby!
So cute TE, he's a lovely colour :goodvibes

Jo? How does a lemon play? :scratchin
Badly :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Yeah, the only part Leo liked was hitting the ball... he didn't want to run, throw or catch. He did enjoy playing 3rd base, where he socialized with each passing runner. :headache:
:rotfl2:

Good strategy, did it work? :rotfl:
Nope

I just feel really bad for Buzz. He just seems to have stuff like this - bad luck, I guess. If we get a broken Happy Meal toy, it's always his. My mom sends stuff in the mail, his is broken. It's never Woody. Buzz doesn't make a big deal about it, but it kind of breaks my heart for him. :(
That's Jess in our house, but the last year it seems to be even, so there's hope!

Don't fall over from shock.......but I have actually FINISHED my TR!!! (I'm giving myself 50 Focker points for that! :lmao: )
OMG, I'd better go check it out!

I've been helping at Guides (Girl Scouts) tonight and they were practising for a Camp Fire they're doing for the Brownies and Rainbows (younger girls) and it was great fun, anyone know ging gang goolie goolie? :rotfl2:

And tomorrow is Ellie's sports day, it'll be the first year in 6 years that we don't have to run around like loonies trying to watch both girls, I won't know what to do with myself? :rotfl:

Sounds like a great day! Whats Universal??:rotfl: J/K

Where do u get that? (would have to be either Petsmart or online for me). I printed a list of foods under 10% carb and the Friskies salmon qualified.....but then she got sick. The Purina DM that the vet gave me is only 6% but she won't touch it. She says life sucks now....and would someone come get this stupid puppy!

I think petsmart online has it. I found it on a few of the major pet food websites. I have one store near me that sells it. They make dog food as well but only wet food for cats. The names are hilarious: Turdurken, Grammy's Pot Pie, Cowboy Cookout, California Roll, Thanksgiving Day Dinner. They crack me up! Merrick is the brand name.

I found a website with some cool games on it Kat it's king dot com and I like bejewelled, it's pretty tough, well for me anyway :rotfl2:

I have a very large folder of games just like that! I love bejeweled! ANy kind of puzzley type game like that I love!

I get off easy for dinner today, KC stopped at Popeye's for chicken yesterday and got the family pack, so I am making something to go along side the leftover chicken (probably beans or something). Hooray for easy!

First off- JEN WHERE ARE YOU? How did it go today? Are you prepping for tomorrow? I'm crossing my fingers.

I'll take you along Jen. You can either send to my home or to SSR and we'll have loads of fun! :lmao:
T, you MADE MY DAY! :cool1: I'm so excited to go with! :)

Oh, and I did want to vent about the classroom assignments. I knew Buzz had gotten the teacher that our neighbor (who works in the school) isn't so impressed with. But she thought since he can read well, he'd be fine, so we decided not to mess with it.

I'm still OK with that aspect, but I AM really bummed that he doesn't have one close friend in the same room. Woody has at least 3 people he really likes, plus a few more from his kg room. Buzz has 1 kg girl, whom he never mentioned all year, and a couple of Woody's classmates, who were nice, but not his friends, ya know? I just feel really bad for Buzz. He just seems to have stuff like this - bad luck, I guess. If we get a broken Happy Meal toy, it's always his. My mom sends stuff in the mail, his is broken. It's never Woody. Buzz doesn't make a big deal about it, but it kind of breaks my heart for him. :(
Buzz is going to grow up stronger for his struggles. It is terrible sitting by and watching our little ones, whom we love so much, struggle. I do believe that it is Woody whom, you need to help through the world a bit more and keep your eye one him that he too has disappointments. Small disappointments, growing up make strong adults. It is us parents who have to bite our lips as we watch them go through those learning experiences.

We don't have Popeye's here. We just have Kentucky Fried Chicken. How do they compare? I bet Popeyes is way better.

Me too Kat. We stopped for KFC on our way home from the beach and had a ton left over, so I made some Rice and green beans and I have dinner again:thumbsup2 I like Popeyes much better though::yes::

We have both and I think Popeye's is better:thumbsup2

STUCK STUCK STUCK !!!!

WDW is over.. but the DRAMA continues.
WE HAD A TERRIBLE STORM come in as we were leaving MGM ( NOPE I STILL HAVE NOT CONVERTED) and it was so bad we could not really see to drive to MCO. I am not sure if I have ever been in rain this hard while driving.

Anyway.. that delayed our flight from the Bahamas... and as of right now.. we are scheduled to leave 2 hours later than we were supposed to.
JOSHUA is NOT Handling the delay well at all.

We may have to stay another night in a hotel because of how late we are getting in we still have nearly 4 hour drive AFTER WE get off the plane.:faint:

Met up with Mel last night and had a good meet.:cool1:
Thanks for the Hug Jo !!:goodvibes

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET !!!!

 Oh, Katt! I'm so sorry. I hope things settle down. Maybe it would be best for everyone to have a nice, calm dinner and stay over a night. :confused3 Good luck! We miss you!

It's got a different taste. The gravy is spiceier. I like both but I think I like Popeye's better, and it's closer to the hosue so KC didn't mind stopping on his way home!

Oh, sure Mel didn't give you my hug :snooty:

 for the delay. Like Dawn said stay overnight, have a nice dinner and just relax.

Katt - sorry about the weather but great about meeting up with Mel.

TE - will head over to read the finale shortly

T - congrats on the job

V - I went to the shore pretty much every weekend from the time friends started driving up until my mid 30's. The parkway is hellish on weekends in the summer and I am just so over the whole shore thing and the crowds, I rather fight the crowds at rope drop then the parkway no a Firday night in the summer.

Sunday Jimmy actually slept until....6:55am:headache: I gave him some cereal threw on some Playhouse Disney and let him just chill. He said he didn't want to go to the beach. We hung out until around 11:30 or so and headed back to the boardwalk. The PLAN called for us to hit a couple of the arcades so he could win some cheesy prizes and then get him another bracelet to let him ride the rides. He was so tired that by about 2:00 we could see a meltdown starting to brew. Before this happened
tamaki_tantrum-1.gif
we decided to head back to the house for a rest and to maybe come back later that evening. We got back, but on the cartoon channel (What BAD shows are on that channel) and Jimmy just chilled. When we asked him if he wanted to go back out he said no, we gave him some dinner a bath and put him in his jammies. I then did something I swore I would never do. Jimmy had a mosquito bite that blew up his knee pretty good. The cream we were putting on it seemed to be helping with the itch...but I gave him some Benadryl becasue I wanted him to go to sleep. (CE you can hand bakc that Mother of the Year Award :sad2:). Ant Bully came on the Cartoon Chanel and he was asleep by 9:00pm. He slept until 7:30am. I felt so guilty:(

Going home day. THis morning we got up (as previously mentioned at 7:30). I gave Jimmy a glass of Milk and some dry cereal. THe plan for today called for packing up , getting breakfast, and then heading back to the boardwlk for one last hurrah. I paacked alot of our stuff last night so today was mostly last minute stuff, cleaning out the fridge, and packing up the car. All of this was accomplished (after Jim cleaned about 9lbs of sand out of the car) by about 9:30. We loaded up car, said good bye to my friend and his mom, and headed out.

Our first stop was Uncle Bill's Pancake House. Breakfast was good and cheap...always a good combonation. I knew Jimmy was hungry. He ate 6 pancakes and a piece of sausage. Here is a picture Jimmy took of Jim and I. It is dark becasue he had his finger over the flash.
MomDadatBreakfast.jpg

After this we headed to the boardwalk and hit one of the arcades. Jimmy had a ball and won some silly prizes and loved them. He won and 8:00 set of transformers...probably cost us $40:lmao: Oh, well he had fun and that is what matters.

We did a little shopping and just walked the boards, the rides didn't open until noon. RIght around noon Jimmy decided he wanted a snack. Good mother of the year candidate that I am we had funnel cake and cotton candy for lunch:thumbsup2 Here is Jimmy with some Cotton Candy:

CottonCandy.jpg

After our "lunch" we got Jimmy his bracelet so he could get his ride on. We rode the tilt a whirl, twice...the second time made me
dizzy.gif
. We stayed and rode the rides until about 3:30. We walked back to the car and were on the road by about 4:00. We got onto the main road out of town and the skies opened up. TImed it just right.::yes::

Here are some more pictures from pur final day:

We got home around 6:00pm. stopping for KFC for dinner on the way home, and Jimmy was happy to be home because he was back on schedule and asleep by 9:00:banana:

OVerall we had a great time, Jimmy is already asking to go back, and my friends mom has offered us the place to use anytime in August. As you all know our WDW trip is in August, but we are thinking we may take her up on her offer on the 1st or 2nd weekend in August. We'll see how things play out. Thanks for letting me share ladies:hug:

What shore did you go to Mo? We took the back roads to Wildwood on Friday and it wasn't too bad. Getting over the bridge was brutal, but once we did that we made great time!:thumbsup2

Great pics Mo. IS he your oldest nephew?

Janet - love the mini trip report. I went to the shore about half way between Point Pleasant and Seaside.

Yes, Ryan is the oldest. I still can't believe he graduated and how I cried, but he has been my buddy right from the beginning, I am sure going to miss that kid when he leaves for school, which is August 23rd. We are having the big family good bye dinner on the 20th, since Kelly and I leave on the 21st.

It worked out well, Kelly is pretty close to Ryan and I think her being elsewhere being immersed in Disney will be better than watching her brother leave that day.

Janet & Mo- Thanks for sharing! I love the pics!!!

It looks like you had a lot of fun on your trip, Janet. :hyper:

I cry at all these events too, Mo. Everytime B would dance a solo, I cried because I was so proud. No matter how many times I have seen the dance, it didn't matter. :lovestruc

I can't get over how much Jimmy looks like you, Janet! What a cutie he is. And I figure everyone needs funnel cake and cotton candy for lunch every once in a while. Keeps you sane. ;)
