Hi ladies. Crazy day at work here. Just got back from meeting Jim and Jimmy for lunch and now they are on their way to the Academy of Natural Science to see the dinosaurs! I will pick them up when I leave here.

CE - :wave2:

V - You a legend, people are quoting your threads:thumbsup2

Dawn - :woohoo:

Rosie - Hope the internet is up and running soon!

Jodi - We go take Jimmy to the library every Monday so he can get movies. Free is so much better than putting the money out at Blockbuster ::yes::

Cheri - Suffice to say the only update that you need is that it it has been a carpy week or so around Fockerland, but things are looking up now:thumbsup2
Hope everyone is having a good day!

:woohoo: Although I can't do baths. Bllleeeeech. It's my OCD.

Makes me queasy. :faint:
Really? I luv a big bubble bath with a glass of wine on the side. :cloud9:

Sounds fun! Eventually I will meet you guys! I bet Jimmy and A would be hilarious together. :thumbsup2 I told K we have to go up to DC and PA for our American history studies.

Philly is must for history! Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, Consitution Hall, the National Consitution Center.:thumbsup2

On the 4th of July the guy who plays Ben Franklin and the woman who plays Betsy Ross got married.

I could be your personal tour guide ::yes::

it's been pretty carpy for me too! The only highlight is being 45 days out from WDW and paid off!

Oh, I'm salivating thinking of all that rich history! ;) We probably won't go for several years, though. We were trying to decide if we wanted to go up there or Disney in 2010, and Disney won. :lmao: We figure that the kids will do better when they're 15, 11 & 10. Don't you think? :confused3

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I forgot to say that K and I decided on a silver 2007 Dodge Durango. The plan is to go buy it Saturday after he closes on the house Friday.
I asked when I did my part of the paperwork (only 4 pgs since I'm not the buyer) how much we have to have at closing and he said $7.79! :lmao: I told him I'd hook K up and be his sugar mama before then. :rotfl2:
I'm excited, though because we don't have to pay August or Sept's mortgage payment. :banana: :woohoo: :yay:
OMG, I'm ALL over this! POTC rooms at the CBR! :banana:
I am so in this...need to try and get it while I still have the CM discounts;)
OK...so here's an update on our DQ situation.
They will be paying for Jon's medical bills (all of it...including what insurance pays), gas expenses, and they reimbursed my meals.
They wanted me to sign an incident report...and when I asked to take it with me to have my lawyer look over it...they offered to throw in emotional compensation.
:confused3
So, on top of our expenses...they offered to throw in $1000 compensatory damages.
I'm going to put it in Jon's college fund...all of it.
But, darn...a few nights at the Poly sounds really good right about now. ;)
I'm glad you are going to get something from them, you deserve it!
Any thoughts on the CS Dining Plan ???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm not at jury duty!!! YAY! I'm so happy to not be there.

Not much going on today, leftovers for dinner. I am going to convert some movies to my ipod today for the trip.

I got a hold of a copy of the Twilight script...if anyone wants it lemme know! (It was goooooood)

Let me know when you'll be driving through. I'd love to meet you for a meal or something like that, if possible. Another Focker Meet!!!

I'll let you know when our schedule gets ironed out! :thumbsup2

Well, the boys got "whole buzzer cuts" :rotfl: - I'll try to get some pictures uploaded here one of these days. Then we went to lunch with Dr. Belle. Mom is going to call when she and the grandparents stop for ice cream on the way home and we'll meet them.

It's rainy here today too, and kind of blah.

I wanna come too! Never been to Philly, except the train station on my way from DC to NYC. I used to live in Washington, DC, so I could be the tour guide there....

I definitely think the older the better when it comes to DC. I went for the first time after high school graduation and it was awesome. I was really into history and government (was majoring in it in college), so I got a lot out of that trip.

Would you like to pay ours instead???? :confused3 :rotfl: :lmao:

Still a no-go for me. We usually have a mix of all CS days and CS/TS days, and we almost always eat Bfast in-room. Add to that a useless refillable mug (we only drink water or coffee and juice from home) and it's no savings for me. I've been using the DDE card for the past 2 years, and that's still the best savings I've gotten!

How did you get your hands on that???

Skillz... LOL another DISer from a Twilight thread.

I hear ya! I like to mix days as well. The mug I usually like because I was drinking a lot of soda, now I dunno since I dropped the soda. Flame me if you want, I'm re-using mine from a few months ago....it's their fault for not having resort specific mugs anymore!

Mel- What's up with you IL's? What is so hard for them to narrow down a visit? Do they expect to show up when ever???
ooouuu--- You cleaned your scrap room. :thumbsup2 A lot of work that can be!
I never got downstairs to finish the scrap room! :surfweb: We did swim lessons, then the library, home for lunch, did some picking up around the kitchen and then out to the bank and some shopping at a new gourmet shop in town. Now I'm home! Gotta kick out Ds15's friends and get dinner prepped.

My IL's are totally irritating. I booked the sitter this morning. She only wanted to charge me $30 per day! I'm like, "Uh, no, that's not enough!" We settled on $200 for the 3 days. I think that's a more reasonable rate. I've never had to tell a sitter I wanted to PAY MORE...:rotfl: The IL's have pulled this for the entire 20 yrs we've been together. I hate them sometimes.

Posers. Pffft. :rotfl:
::yes::

:ssst: Us too. Think anyone will notice that all the characters are in their winter wear? :rotfl2:

:lmao: I'm funny...I made labels for ours last trip so no one would use the wrong mug (I'm weird about that kinda stuff) and for mine and KC's I put that name label right over the date "2007".:thumbsup2 :rotfl:

What is a Whole Buzzer cut? Does it differ from a BUZZ Cut?

Ummm... I'm speechless. Simple speechless. :rotfl2:

Is the only difference the 2007 wording? That's it, nothing else? Did your label smear from washing?
