Team 8 Jessica's Rabbits Bios and Info

You guys are putting in LOTS of miles...HOLY COW!!! I just don't know how you find the time. Way to go! :thumbsup2

I think you should take a break...relax some... :goodvibes

Stacie

 Stacie...hey there girl! You're not doing so bad yourself! Thanks for stopping by our humble abode ;). Now go rest up...no more of those long elliptical/bike sessions at the fitness center girl.

So now I've figured out why you're calling yourselves rabbits. Those miles and minutes are breeding like bunnies. Don't you folks have any self-control??? :rotfl:

 Hi Deb!!! You found us!!! Thanks for stopping by girls!!!

Team...I'm really so impressed with our hours and miles. Keep up the great work...and for those dealing with illness, injury, work and just plain old LTO...PD and no worries/no apologies. :grouphug:

I guess I should update my world for my team...even though I think we may be the quiet ones in the bunch. Of course rabbits are quiet little animals aren't they :confused3 .

Had a pretty good weekend, managed a 3 mile speed workout (thanks Craig!) on Friday, along with an hour of Fusion Flow. On Saturday I did a 4 mile walk :cool1: and taught a class but didn't really do any of it...being a good teacher! On Sunday I ran my 6 miler...not super fast but a nice solid pace! And yesterday I taught 3 classes....did approximately 90 minutes of Pilates :faint:. Today I ran a little 3 miler in the 35 mph wind gusts...made it a little tougher than it should have been :). I should do some pilates and I still have another class to teach as well this afternoon.

OK...that's it from my world...not that anyone cares LOL But at least it keeps me on top of the workouts! :thumbsup2

OMG!!! I nearly busted out laughing!!! :rotfl2:

Amy...We care! ::yes:: You are doing awesome!!!

Thanks for the compliments, both fellow-rabbits and honored guests. Too funny Debra.

We do have lots of folks who pound out pretty consistent miles and hours each week. I certainly cannot say we'll end the year at the top of the pyramid, but I'd be totally shocked if we weren't in the mix at the end.

Craig

Great job, Amy!! You are like a machine!!!!

Bunnies, you'll be happy to know that's only Wednesday morning I have already more than doubled my mileage and time for last week. I'm pulling my weight this week!!!! :thumbsup2

Love you guys!!!!

Krista

Krista: Great job on the miles - so does having a little urchin inside of you make you go faster & further?

- J

Krista & Amy - congrats on all those miles!

Must be one of those weeks because as of last night I've also more than doubled last week's miles and feel really good! :cool1: No where near the numbers of you more experienced rabbits but they are my miles and I am darn proud of myself at the moment.

Ok, so now just have to avoid hurting my arm while patting myself on the back.

Krista: remember--you're pulling your weight AND that of the little one!

AmyBeth68: OMG!!! You really put in a LOT of time and miles. I'm lucky to get in 10 miles a week right now. I feel very small.

Rest day today. My trainer cancelled tomorrow's workout so I'll do something after work. I feel like such a slug right now!!

Have fun everyone!!

Heck no! I feel so clumsy when I run and I have visions of the baby flopping around like a fish so I stopped running and decided to walk instead. Since it's taking me longer to cover my miles, that should help out our team time! :thumbsup2

Martha--Do you think we can count my miles and time as double, since I'm running for 2 people??!! ;)

Krista

Hi guys :)

Martha: You are not a slug! My current work makes it really easy for me to get the miles in. I know your job has been keeping you busy. Please don't feel bad...I think you've been doing great!!! :goodvibes

Krista: :worship: I'm so impressed with all your workouts considering you are pregnant! Great job :).

Sounds like everyone is doing great! :thumbsup2 I put 12 miles in on the bike yesterday and an hour of pilates! Today I'm going to take a class and do some hill repeats (I think..legs are a bit achey today).

My Weekly (weakly?) report:

I had to take 3 days off due to some day surgery, so I didn't do as much this week as last. I'm also still fighting a cold (which has me coughing), and some knee pain (which is annoying). :rolleyes1 Now that I have all my excuses lined up...

Hours: 2:32 (2.53)
Miles: 8.62

Hi Bunnies, how is everything? Everybody happy and healthy? Sounds like you guys are doing great.

Social Panda:hippie:

Amy: you are so sweet!

Krista: yes! We really need to consult Referee Panda on this. Panda--you listening? Krista is working out for two. Can we count double? Huh, huh? Can we? Can we?

blizzard: sorry to hear about the outpatient surgery! Hope it was minor; but then, minor surgery is what they do on other people! Hope you get back on track soon!

Boy, did you guys see what Matt did? 13.33 miles up and down a mountain--IN DEATH VALLEY! Geez, and he called that a taper! I think we need to give the man a handicap. He's blowing us out of the water!

Today I did 7 miles. 2 1/2 on the TM and 4 1/2 on the bike. 45 minutes. We've got quite a bit of precipitation heading our way so who knows what will happen this weekend. I do so much better when running outside. I ran 3 miles in 31:39 outside on saturday. Sigh. Don't know when I'll do that again.

Happy training everyone!

Thanks Carol, I have the miles and time in the scorebook.

Hello Dave

I think our little group is pounding it pretty good. We'll be competitive, I suspect, all the way.

We'd likely be more than competitive if Matt quit putting up mega-numbers. To hear he was doing it in Death Valley was just pouring lemon juice over my paper cut.

I am putting in pretty stable hours and miles each week. Tomorrow is a tempo workout, trying to get some speed in the legs for Minnie. I would love dearly to see sub-9 mpm for the course. Then if I could just replicate that for the last 9 of the marathon, then I'd have a marathon time to crow over.

Craig

Reporting in for this week:

Minutes: 145
Miles: 11.02

Just making each week a little better.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Hi All !
Good effort out there !
Not as bad this week, might start getting respectable numbers up on the ol' Tote Board. Just so long as Jerry Lewis isn't reading off the totals, we'll all be fine.

19.57 miles
169 minutes

Been working on intervals on the treadmill, 2mins@4mph, 2mins@6mph, repeat as necessary to fill 20-30 minutes. Did a full basement 5K on Monday, felt pretty good. Working on STAMINA... Want to be ABLE to run for more than 2 minutes at a stretch.

We'll be missing a workout this week as my Sweetie is taking me to the opera for my Birthday on Friday night. So, no run.. We will, however be trying to get in some outside time on Saturday or Sunday, weather permitting.
Enjoy the weekend, everyone !!!!

Patrick

Hi Team :)

OK...so my week was pretty solid...

Miles: 31.3

Total Hours: 635 minutes or 10.58 hrs

Included spinning, running, walking, yoga and pilates :).

I have to tell you guys....I'm so excited too....I did my first "hill repeat" workout today. I ran an easy mile; did 3 x Hill Repeats (.10 mile) btwn 46-49 sec. each time. With recovery walk back down the hill after. Then after my final hill, I ran another mile at what I *thought* was an easy pace and finished it in 8:01!!!! HOLY COW! :scared1: Totally wasn't expecting that pace...not sure where that came from LOL! Just thought I'd share b/c that NEVER happens to me. Usually I think I'm running slowly and I wow...I'm running even slower than I thought.

Thanks for listening to me ramble. Have a great weekend everyone! :goodvibes
