Team 8 Jessica's Rabbits Bios and Info

Kate!!! Great job on that mile :thumbsup2 especially considering the recovering. Hope your feeling stronger soonest!!! Take care and ICK! on the snow.

Just like the rabbit that guards the cave in Monte Python and the Holy Grail, "we rabbits are dynamite."

And Liz, as much as I love being active, I'd trade a motorcycle show for a training run any day. I had a bike through high school and college, but I've been bikeless for many years. Something about them being "organ donor facilitation devices."

Yes, true from time to time, but I'd still love to have one.

Craig

Craig - I got this bike last fall after not having one for a very long time. Started riding dirt bikes at age 11 (yep, tom-boy at heart) but gave them up after my son was born. Now that he's 19 and doing his own stupid stunts, Mom gets her bike back! Dad got his back in '05.

Good for you Liz. We lived in Breckenridge, Colorado when I was 13, and I had a small bike. To be that age, and able to ride all over the mountains was pure heaven. We're beginning to work on the mountain place again, and when we get it, I'll be sure to tuck a small bike into the back of the garage.

Hi Team :)

OK...Craig....here's my workout totals...

24 Miles; 10 hours even.

I had a fairly busy week but the weather caused a few problems with getting more miles in. Hopefully those numbers bump up next week. :thumbsup2

My workouts included cycling, spin, ski machine, pilates, yoga and of course running :).

Hope everyone is doing well! :goodvibes

Hi Team

My miles are down from last week due to not being able to bike during the weekend, but my hours are slowly climbing up :)

Total miles: 45.61
Total hours: 7:23:58

I'm hoping this upcoming week will set a new high for me in both miles and hours :goodvibes:

Take care everyone

Checking in...

Have been sick this week, but managed to get the runs in anyway.

Hours 3:45 (3.75 in decimal)
Miles 9.53

Happy Friday!!

Really bad week for mutliple reasons (besides the bike show).

3.0 miles; 2 hours
All the miles are TM but also had shoveling and core time.

Have my new book, new schedule, new shoes (they are soo nice) and ready to get to it!

Hi all,
As Liz has already stated, bad week for getting out and around,
So totally tired of the brutal weather.

a Whopping mileage total of 8 miles cycling/walk/run
and a total time of 80 minutes including snow shoveling,etc..

Hope to do better this week, not too many left to go before Kidney Foundation run..
Gotta do better !!!!!!

Pat

Hey Craig--here are my miles and hours. They are down for this week; my episode on the bike last weekend and a crazy work schedule kept me from getting too much in. I WILL do better next week, I promise.

Total miles: 40
Total hours: 6.5

Have a great weekend, all!

Steve

Here are my numbers, they are really, really low, just didn't have much motivation this week and then I had the car accident, so that put a wrench in a couple of days. Hopefully my numbers will be higher next week.

Miles: 3
Time: 43 minutes

:sad2:

Krista

Thanks for the weekly results everyone.

Remember, no apologies are necessary. Some weeks will be better than others, and although it appears after 2 weeks that we'll be competitive in this game, it is just a game to help keep us moving.

I'm off for a 7 mile treadmill trainer, beginning to build up for the May 4 15K.

Craig

I wish I could give awesome numbers but it was not in the cards....whenever the kids get snowdays - it throws a wrench in my WHOLE WEEK -

Miles - 2
Minutes - 90

Kate - my kids had snow/ice days this week too - it really does mess up the routine.

Between school closings (kids home), sick kids:sick: , DH birthday, and lots more excuses this week - I didn't exercise much. No walking for me at all this week :guilty: - only cross training

Total for week...

165 min (2:45 or 2.75 hours) - not sure how we're suppose to report time
18.8 miles

Hoping for a more active week!

Kathy

Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly!

2.5 hours walking/stair climbing at work. I'm not sure of the distance because I wasn't following the 1/2 mile loop my employer has identified. But, I'm sure my boss is wondering what was taking me so long to do go get the mail everyday!

4 miles (1 hour 13 minutes). The weather is finally cooperating a bit so I was able to get outside without turning into an icicle.

Hope everyone has a great week.

-Susan

I find this time of year so hard to get high miles in, especially up here in the cold, snow encrusted north. Last week I was able to get more miles in b/c I spent time on the bike. I'm now trying to build my running miles in prep for the Minnie so the miles will be lower. I actually got a run in OUTSIDE yesterday!! :cool1: The day started cold and windy but by afternoon when I was back from the mall, the wind had died down and it was great running weather. That does mean that I didn't get to the gym so no bike time.

My job keeps me so busy during the day that I don't have time to frequent these boards. It's a good thing DH is Calcio so I just breeze in and tell him my times and miles and let him keep track! But I realized that's not fair to you guys as I should be letting you all how I'm doing.

Suffice it to say that since the marathon, it's been sporadic and low miles. I really need to get my mojo back!

Happy training everyone!!!

Hello, hello - horribly anti-social team member here - am on 5 deadliens a week at the moment, so v little time for online chatting - but I'm at least running regularly (even if it is only in short bursts). This weeks total..
13miles, 2.20 - wasn't that the same as last week? Ah well I said I was consistent - Helen

Sorry so late with my totals; I think this week has been hard for all of us to get our time in.

Total: 12 miles, 2:19

- Jeff

Thanks for the results everyone. I have input them into the score sheet, and right now we are very much in the mix for the grand prize, whatever that is.

Good luck and training this week.

Craig
