TEAM #6: OHANA-No One Gets Left Behind:Post your miles/hours here

For the week of 4/6-4/12:

9 miles/100 min

I would have had a few more miles, but I skipped a day of running. DS (17 mos) hasn't been sleeping well, therefore I am exhausted. Let's hope this is a phase - and a short one!

Woo, my first minutes log, how exciting!

JEANNE - I am so on top of things this week. Morgan is added to the spreadsheet!!! :rotfl:

Thanks, Jen!!!! What would I do without you? :scared1:

I sent an email to Darcy this week because some of the totals were off, but she has not yet responded. The last time I checked nothing was registering for our April totals.

Anyhow, here's my contribution for the week. I did a half-marathon on Saturday so I was able to double those miles.

33.47 miles; 9:24 hour/minutes

Here are my totals. WOW, the biking really helps.
Miles: 94.70
Time: 11.43

4/5 6.2 miles 76.5
4/7 4 miles 53.25
4/9 4 miles 48.68

miles 14.2 178.43

I have totally lost track of what days I'm supposed to be posting. Is it Sat to Fri or Fri to Thurs? I'm sooo confused :confused3

Here are my numbers for the week. I ended up doing a lot of biking this week, some at Disney & more than normal at home. Not so much with the running, yoga, or strength training. (*sigh*) I'm hoping tomorrow's LR goes smoothly and that next week I'm in my regular WO groove.

DEBRA’S MILES: 128.00 miles (I completed 17.48 miles R, RW, or W for those who care)
DEBRA'S TIME: 9:45 (or 9.75 in decimal format)

DONATION TO ROBERT, MILES: 4.37
DONATION TO ROBERT, TIME: :47 (.78 in decimal format)

DONATION TO LINDA, MILES: 4.37
DONATION TO LINDA, TIME: :47 (.78 in decimal format
)

I'm continuing to donate some miles & minutes to Robert & Linda, so I'm just providing the bottom line. I'm also donating miles & minutes to Dave & Erica because of Erica's surgery today. To make it fair, I just took all my running & walking miles & split them four ways. I'll just send the donations for Dave & Erica directly over to Hakuna Matata, so there's no need for you to do anything for them, Jeanne.

P.S. Mel, I think the weeks are generally organized from Saturday to Friday, but some people are recording according to their Garmins, training logs, etc. Don't stress about it.

for the week ending 4/11

1hr walk - 3.79 miles
1hr45min DDR <3
1hr30min Volleyball
25min bike - 6.21 miles
30min lower body weights
50min run/walk - 3.42 miles

totals:
6 hours
13.42 miles

For April 5 - 11

April 5: 7 miles & 77 mins (new PR)
April 7: 3 miles 45 mins (dreadmill)

One of DS's friends/classmates died suddenly in a car crash this week and all the activities around that tragedy prevented me from training any more.

If you have a sec, please say a prayer for Emily and her family, the Burkes and Rudy and his family, the Calderons. Emily (15) and Rudy (14) both died at the scene. The driver (Emily's brother) and another passenger were injured (physically and emotionally), but will recover.:sad1:

Here are my results for the week:

Time: 7:09
Miles: 29.78

I had two great runs today. 8 miles with DW as she prepares for Minnie 15K and one mile on track with DD 13, just for the fun of it.

Tonight is our volunteers meeting for our upcoming season. We start training mid-May for a Nov marathon. The running break is coming to an end.

My totals for the week.

30.1 miles
6 hrs.

Kelley-- How sad for both of those families and everyone touched by the accident. Will be saying a prayer for them.

Nancy

Go Team Ohana!
Maria

4/5 6.2 miles 76.5
4/7 4 miles 53.25
4/9 4 miles 48.68

miles 14.2 178.43

Mel: Don't worry about it. Technically, we supposed to be reporting Saturday thru Friday each week, but some people are customizing what they report to coincide with their Garmins, etc. which may use a different range of days. It really doesn't matter and will all work out in the end. As long as what you are doing is accurate and consistent for you, I don't care. At the very end of the year if we have to add or subtract a day to/from someone's totals, so be it. It's a whole lot easier to do it once than make the adjustment every week for those who record their workouts in other ways. I don't even care if our monthly totals are a little off due to extra days because if it doesn't get posted the previous month, we'll just pick it up the next one. Just as long as we're not counting things double or forgetting to count them at all, it should all work out in the end. So....whatever is easiest for you is fine with me. Hakuna Matata....ooops, not our team!

Kelley: so sorry to hear about the accident and loss of young life. As a parent of 4, I have seen this happen time and time again. It is always so sad and such a waste. I trust those who have passed are in a better place now. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends left behind, particularly the brother who was driving. How grief-stricken he must be. Everyone please give your loved ones an extra hug today in their memory. Unfortunately, our young drivers will never learn.

April 5-11

Gleaned from my Garmin, plus an hour of Kung Fu.....

263 min

12.6 miles

I want to thank Debra and others who have donated miles to myself and Linda. I spend almost all of my day on a bed doing excercises or CPM. The only time I get out is for PT 3 times a week. Mostly great pain as I try to learn to bend and lift my leg again.

I appreciate all the great thoughts.

I also wanted to wish all of my team mates good luck and training. Don't have too much fun at Minnie. I would give anything to be back there again this year.
