just 2 more sleeps until we head to DL. my 3rd grader's teacher LOVES anything disney. she grew up in the area and now lives here in washington state. her birthday is coming up next month and i wanted to get her birthday and christmas gifts (ahead of time).

i know i want to get her a calendar and a scarf...possibly a couple of pens...maybe some notepads. do they sell actual notebooks? is there anything else you would recommend?

would love to get input from any disney-loving teachers out there!

i know for sure i saw notebooks at the tower of terror gift shop. how about a couple of pins or a christmas ornament?
coffee mugs are always a safe choice, but i'm sure being a teacher she probably gets a ton of those.

As a Disney
As a disney loving teacher, I would be happy with ANYTHING even the free stickers and park maps. I can tell you that in my classroom I use popcorn buckets (the regular not speciality) to hold dry erase markers. I laminate maps and use as decor. Maybe take a map and get character signatures and then have your child write on it and put a picture somewhere on it in a frame. I love having memories of my kids around too.

Oh, garwsh, not another coffee mug!! Consumables are great. She spends tons of her own money on her classroom, I'm sure, so anything she won't have to buy out of her own pocket will be super. Stickers, pencils, pads. One year, when we went to WDW, I brought a three-ring binder with me and had the characters sign it with a Sharpie. I used that binder in my classroom for years.

My wife is a 4th grade teacher that loves Disney. Even though she has several globes and such, I think her favorite "teacher" souvenir was a canvas beach bag that we got as part of a spend XX dollars and get this bag for $10 deal at WDW. She used it as one of her school bags for years until it was completely worn out. I found her one on Ebay to replace it, because she was so sad when the original wore out. If by chance they have a special like that or you can find one at a reasonable price, I'd think a similar bag might be appreciated.

As a teacher, I would love a bag as stated above, cool popcorn bucket, scarf, socks, calendar, or candy!

Speaking of socks, they have a lot of them at Elias & Co, $13.99 or 2 pairs for $20.

I'd let your child pick. You may want to get her a scarf, but the gift is ultimately from your child. Although, probably steer away from a mug, if that's the choice.

Disney loving teacher here, most teachers love stationery, so anything like that is always a treat - I still have the Tigger pen I bought in Disneyland Paris in 1998!

Retired teacher here. Most teachers nowadays have some sort of ID/key card they wear around their necks. How about a Disney card holder he/she can wear around the neck?
