Hi, Can anyone tell me if Tea with Wendy is offered on the 4 day? If so, where do we need to sign up?

Thanks :cheer2: :cheer2:

I heard that it was but I don't know for sure... I hope someone does.

Yes, Tea with Wendy is on the 4-day. It is in the Oceaneers Club, and you don't need tickets. The day and time will be in the Oceaneers Club navigator.

Wow my dd is a huge peter pan fan and would love this - what is the age requirement if any - minimum/maximum?

I did a couple searches and couldn't find anything if anyone has a link that would be great as well.

TIA
TJ

I hate to bring anyone down, but I found this to be a total waste of time! I brought my daughter while on our 7 day cruise. You go to Studio Sea where several of the tables have tea and cookies (one cookie per seat). My daughter who was 4 at the time would not drink the tea... even when I tried to sweeten it. Wendy comes in, tells a story that lasts about 5 minutes... then each table takes turns taking a picture with her. The Studio is so dark my picture did not come out. The entire tea lasted about 15 minutes!

Thats not where it was the last time we sailed and they did have tickets because we went to guest services to late and they were all out of tickets.

We had to get tickets. They post on either the first day's navigator or the second where and when the distribution will be...

sailed feb 13-17...monday (Nassau) morning at the princess gathering Wendy was there she asked my dd to come join her for tea at the kids club. It was at 7:15pm to 8:15pm. The cm's serve tea and cookies and Wendy tells them stories. It was only Wendy Peter Pan wasn't there.

This must be done differently on the Magic & the Wonder with the Magic having a seperate activity that requires tickets in Studio Sea and the Wonder including it in their kid club activities.

On our Wonder cruise from Sunday, February 13th through Thursday February 17th, the Tea with Wendy Darling was Monday from 7:15 to 8:15PM in the Oceaneer's Club, for the 3-4 year-olds.

(After posting my reply, I noticed someone else already answered before me with the same reply)

Tea with Wendy is different for each ship. Our DD4 attended the event in the Oceaneer's Club last April on the Wonder- it's just for the kids (parents can watch - we videotaped it) and they had juice (much to my DD's disappointment) and sugar cookies. They sat at small tables with each other.

My DH, DD and I all had Tea with Wendy this past January on the Magic. You need tickets for this event which is held on sea days in the afternoon at Studio Sea. It's for both kids and adults. They served cold tea (much to my DD's dismay because she discovered she didn't like tea after all :rotfl: ) and cookies at each table. The day we were there, Wendy was under the weather....I mean, she was out looking for the Lost Boys so Peter Pan was her substitute. He told a story and then was at a head table and the kids could have their pictures taken with him (I'm sure Wendy does the same when she's there - plus I believe she picks a couple of kids to sit with her at the head table).

It was just fun for our 4-year-old both times but neither event took very long.

My daughter(7) and I attended the tea with Wendy. She was not very impressed with it at all nor was I. It didn't last very long and you end up standing in line for pictures longer than the actual story time. I was very dissapointed especially because they make such a big deal about limited tickets for the event.

my DD9 and DD5 went to Tea with Wendy on the Magic last September. nothing spectacular. just a nice photo op. no Peter Pan. we got tickets as soon as we boarded the ship, same time we got palo's reservations and bridge tour tickets.

So, the "Tea with Wendy" event on the Wonder is for the 3-4 yr old children, only?

On our 4 day trip, Tea with Wendy was only listed in the 3-4 year old DSeaU Navigator. I guess they feel it's geared towards the younger children. I know my older son (5-7's) was able to be a "pirate" with Captain Hook and that was not offered to the younger children. I did grab an 8-9 year old Navigator, and by the looks, there was only one character interaction (with Goofy) during the 4 days. The only other character interaction for that age group was the graduation on the last day when Mickey and Minnie come on the stage to congratulate all the kids that attend. I do know that the counselors will let parents in with children of different ages to watch, so that's always an option. There are also many, many character autograph/picture opportunities every day. You can call the character meet/greet phone number on the navigator to get times/places for these and they are also listed on the monitor in the atrium every day.
I have seen that Tea with Wendy is offered on the Magic differently, and looks to be for all ages.

on our trip on the Magic, both DD9 and DD5 were able to attend this program at Studio Sea. i saw other kids there who were older than 3-4 years old. we didn't do this on the Wonder so i can't answer the question.
