Recently my daughters saw a commercial for this toy and of course it ends up on their holiday list; I have gone to 2 toys r us stores and all are sold out. The accessories are available. The manager reports they cant keep them on the shelves. It seems TRU is the only one who sells them. Any experience with these toys???

I saw them at Walmart and Radio Shack this past weekend... I have also heard the Walgreens carry them. HTH

Yes, they're adorable but they are hard to find! I found some at Walgreens this past weekend and as an added bonus they were on sale for $9.99

I had to go to three Walgreens though because both managers at the first two Walgreens told me one person bought the whole case from each store

Was at Radio Shack this weekend after the Hallmark preview and they had several. with and outfit. If you sign up to receive emails from radio shack they will send you a $10 off coupon.

I found them at Walgreens on Monday! I had to buy three of them and they were $12.99 Only bad thing, my dd was with me when I bought them.

I was in a panic this weekend when I was at TRU and they were all out with not a clue when more were coming in.

Oh goodness...my DD wants these too. The only place I have heard of them is toys r us. I guess I need to start calling my Walgreens!!!! Heading out to toys r us tomorrow we shall see! Glad I came across this thread.

The whole case?? Wow that should so not be allowed. They probably put them on Ebay! Like zhu zhu pets last year...ugh...here we go again.

I bought these a month ago after someone posted a link on the families board. They are so cute, I thought I may have issues getting them if I waited. My TRU in Indiana still has plenty (at least on Monday they did). I agree with the whole not allowing 1 customer to buy their entire stock. That makes 1 customer happy and upsets several others by not having them.

My dd 8 was dying for one and we went to 8 stores and all were sold out. Lucky for us on Fri night Walmart had the pallets of boxed toys lined up in the toy dept. for the workers to stock during the overnight. We searched all the box labes and found teacup piggies and outfits. I am kicking myself for only getting her the one pig and outfit. They are for sure a hot item & I will say they are much cuter and more entertaining than I had thought.

keeping my fingers crossed -- my DD wants a REAL teacup pig. She brings it up almost every day. Since we are not getting one, this will be perfect!

OMG my dd bought one of these piggies a few weeks back with her TRU gift card. The piggie is the CUTEST THING EVER!!! I love her!! We got Princess, and one outfit.

Worth the money, if you can find them. Like everyone else has said they're tough to find - we've been back to TRU twice since then (10/19) and they haven't had any!

My dh said he thinks they're going to be the big "gotta get it on ebay!" toy this year with huge markups like the zhu zhu's last year.

After reading this I tried my TRU last night and the pigs were sold out. I went online this morning and found them on Radio Shack's website but didn't want to pay shipping so I called the Walgreens near my house and the lady said they had some. Ran over there and they had 5 sitting right up front.

I found one randomly stuck behind a workbench toy at Walgreens and covertly purchased it at the pharmacy while the girls were occupied looking at toys. I was talking to the lady at the cosmetic counter and she said she had seen more. She casually showed me where they were, I signalled to her which one I wanted, and she took it back to her register, rung it up, and bagged it while I took the long way back to the cosmetics department with my girls. The piggies have been secured! Now to find some clothes for them...

Grabbed one at our Toys R Us yesterday..had plenty. Tried my Walgreens before and they had seen the price sticker but they werent out..so I guess they got gone..probably an employee..anyway at Toys R Us there were 2 series of them.....so like 6 different ones if I remember correctly. I also go the limo they can ride around in...it plays the music to "Life is a Highway" too cute...

I went to walgreens on my lunch break to check them out. I was surprised they had a box full of them. I looked at a couple of them, but I don't get it. they don't seem that cute.
Is this really something my GDG6 (almost 7) would like? I think they are new here in Wisconsin, so she likely will not have seen them before. Did your girls like them first and then want them, or did they get one and then begin to like it? Do your girls like these more than furreal pets?
I need one more gift idea for her and this is the right price, but I want to be sure to choose something she will enjoy...

Thanks OP for this thread!! I've been checking TRU the last 2 weeks, no individual piggies!! I did pick up the fashion runway, but it only comes w/ 1 piggie and I have 2 girls that REALLY want this for Christmas. Have not seen them at any Walmarts near me yet. But now I know to check Walgreens and Radio Shack!! I really hope this is not going to be like ZZPs last year!! Oh, my TRU did have outfits and the limo and a few things like that. I didn't figure it was a big deal until I read this thread!! Maybe I'll check out Walgreens and Radio Shack tonight when DH gets home....

Just wanted to say that my Walgreens had about 12 or so BUT what I wanted to say is they are in an odd spot. So if you are looking for them they weren't with the toys they were at the end of the cosmetic counter

I was looking because I wanted to see what everyone was talking about and when I couldn't find them in toys figured they were out. They weren't near the Christmas stuff either where they had a few other toys. I would have missed them if I didn't just happen to walk over that way.
