I haven't heard of that particular tea. My DD and I did, however, attend the Disney Girl Princess Tea Party last year and she is still talking about it. She asked if we could go back, which I had to say no, #1 because of the cost and #2 because she doesn't need another princess doll . It's wonderful though.
I haven't done it, but it's a very pretty room, and a girl who is able to put on her best manners would probably enjoy being treated like a grown up lady.
I just recently read about a tea with Mrs. Potts as well. It mentioned that it was only $8.50 which is by far the cheapest character tea. Where is it and how does it differ from the Wonderland tea party with Alice and the Mad Hatter? Shorter? Limited times?
Mrs. Pott's Tea is the name of the child's tea menu at the Garden View Lounge Tea Room at the Grand Floridian.
Here is the listing from the menu:
Mrs. Potts Tea - For the younger tea lover in your party, we offer a variety of tea sandwiches, tuna salad, ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly on white bread. We serve our magical dark tea (chocolate milk), followed by a choice of 2 pastries $8.50 per guest
There are no characters. It is just the children's menu. You can see the entire menu at ALLEARS
