Debating about getting the vacation package to avoid all the stress, but I’m a solo traveler. I understand I have to pay for 2 people (not here to debate if cost is worth it), but if only I show up will they still let me do the vacation package and give me all the ride passes and other things for 2 people that I can then use myself?

I believe you will get a break on the VP cost, as there's only one of you on the Package. The majority of the cost is going towards the room, which is pretty much a fixed cost.

But I may be wrong.

Oh wow I didn’t even try booking with one person recently as before it would error out. It just let me price things out for one person so I think it’s a change with the new vacation packages! Thanks!

How different was the price for one, if any?

It was 449,600 yen for 2 and is 332,900 yen for 1, roughly 770$ cheaper. I roughly chose the same restaurants and attractions, also in Japan hotels do go by occupancy so it is a bit cheaper for 1.

Yup. They started allowing one person bookings of vacation packages back when they introduced vacation packages for Fantasy Springs.

I've booked 2 VPs back to back as a solo traveller without any issues. It's worth it to me to not have the stress factor and lining up super early to try to secure DPA'S and be on my phone all day. I just want to enjoy the magic of the park without the headache
