Hi

What are TCD seating plan. I looked under Excel airlines and it looks to be 2 4 2.

We have not pre-booked our seats as we are normally at the airport at 3-4 hours prior. Also we will be travelling with children aged 3 and 7. I doubt they would seperate us.

Thanks

Just make sure you've all got the same surname as my sister in law and her family were split up in 3 different sections of the plane last year and could not be accommodated otherwise (3 of them had never flown before!)

hi we flew with tcd in april and the seating plan was 3-4-3 just thought i would let you know

Hi

We have all the same surnames. What a pain. I feel ita a con to pay for pre-booked seats. It should be first come first served like it used to be.

The seats are 3-4-3 on TCD flights. TCD are operating under the excel name but not using their planes.
Last month 20 of my family members flew out with TCD and no-one paid the seating fee and everyone got seated together in their family's without an issue. If you arrive early I say don't waste your money pre-booking seats I think it's a disgrace they charge anyway!!

Yeap, 3-4-3 with a couple of rows of 2-4-3 near the back. We asked for one of the back rows of 2 on the way back, they had been pre-booked and allocated but as we were so early we had a choice of almost anywhere else so as long as you are early checking in then sitting together wont be a problem

just a word of advice.TCD are really flogging the pre booked seats in their leaflets. If lots of people on your flight pre book,it doesn't matter how early you get there, there is never a guarantee you will be sat together.I'm just going from my past experience with them when i say this.
I always pay the extra cos i don't want to risk it.

Might just add - my lot would probably have been the last to the airport! bearing in mind we never managed to get to parks for opening other than the day we left them all at the villa!!!! so don't worry too much. Im sure if you all have the same surname and arrive in good time you will not have a problem - will add - apart from sitting together they thought TCD were excellent (especially as it cost them £600 less than our flights with Virgin)

Hi

We loved Virgin and it was the best flight we have ever had. We were not prepared to pay £600 more either. Admittedly PORR was not available, but FC and other companies were more than TCD. More savings means more spending money :goodvibes

If I can't secure a miles plus money deal with Virgin for 2007 - I will definately be flying TCD.

Hi

We thought about the air mile advantage, but we simply could not afford any extras. I am going to NYC in March so this has kind of taken the budget away from FL. This way we get two trips without worrying about money. :goodvibes
