TCD Free dining?

I think I rad on a recent thread that TCD are offering free dining...is this true?

If so when?

Does anyone have any details?

Disney are offering free dining again next September like they did this year. Everyone booking between friday and November, staying at a disney hotel and booking an unlimited ticket should receive the free dining. There was a post stating that disneys budget hotels (POP and All Stars) were excluded but i am not sure if this is correct

Therefore it will prop be cheaper to upgrade hotels get the free DDP, than go to POP or All Stars and pay for DDP

I looked at it (assuming £22 per day forddp) 2 rooms at Pop Century for 2 adults and 3 14 year olds dance3: ) would cost £3591
2 waterview rooms at Coronado Springs resort with free dining plan would be
£3171 a saving of £420. Oops thats the price with disney.co.uk

Standard rooms at all four moderates are £2947 for two rooms or £1736 for one room.

Is the resort restrictions for the free dining a disney imposed restriction or will some travel agents offer this???

Any booking through a travel agent should offer you the free DDP. I know TCD have it on the front of there web page

Hi,, TCD are offering free dining starting from 10th aug 08 and as others have mentioned, the values are not included. I spoke to a TA last week about this offer and he claimed that Disney lost a lot of money this year with the free dining and value resorts. I'm not sure if its going to be cost effective though,, this year I got pop century, free dining, hire car, flights and theme park tickets for £2300, this years price for Port orleans, carribbean beach and other moderates works out over £3600, this is what the itinerary stated:

These prices were based on 1 adult, 1 teen and 1 child.
I think the major difference with TCD for 08 is the price of flights. This year my flights cost £199 each, next year they have jumped up to £499
Possibly because they are getting new aircraft, but still quite a jump. They are no longer considerably cheaper than Virgin, maybe better to check their prices out.

last year this offer was released to uk tour operators -as you had to book hotel, tickets, dining etc as a package for duration of stay. Hence TCD, Virgin etc, offering packages. It was later offered in US as a different package but included free dining plan.

They have also changed the DDP as well. you no longer get a starter with TS meal and tips are NOT included, so you have to pay this OOP.

You can book rooms and tickets through disney uk website and still get the free ddp (without booking flights) attraction tickets direct are also offering free ddp with hotel and ticket bookings, though they are a little more expensive than disney direct for the dates i looked at.
