Taxis?

Does anybody know how much it costs to go between hotels at WDW? We have a limo the day of our wedding until 4 I believe but our tea at the Grand Floridian doesn't start till 320. We will need to find a way back to SSR. Don't really want to take a bus to DTD and then to SSR. We will still have wedding clothes on...not the usual white big dress and tux but still!

How do you go about getting a cab? Will the front desk call for you?

Yes, the front desk or valet will call you a taxi. It's usually about $10-$15 between resorts, give or take a couple of dollars.

You really do not need the front desk to get a taxi. All Disney resorts have taxis outisde their main entrance. You will see a Cast Member at a podium and he/she will direct you to the next taxi. If one is not waiting they will call and get one for you fast. There are many taxis that make WDW their "home" so you will not have a problem getting one quickly.
