We are traveling next August with my husbands 85 year old grandfather..he is in good health but does use a cane due to a bad fall last year. :sad2: I am planning on renting him an ECV through Apple for our trip. On two of our park days AK and DHS I want to make ADR's for some of the disney resort resturants. I would like to just ride the resort bus to the hotel (we won't have a rental car) and then take a taxi home after dinner. But what about his ECV? :confused3 On the busses no big deal but can we take a taxi? Thanks for any help!!:worship:

All the rental ECVs are designed to be fairly easily disassembled. As taxis are full-size four door sedans they should have enough room in the trunk to put the ECV.

And Mears (which has the taxi contract on WDW) has at least 20 taxis that are accessible with ramps or lifts; the resort can call for one of them and see how long the wait would be.

Thank you so much for the info! :thumbsup2 Do you by chance know how many people the van taxi's can carry? TIA!
