Taxi vs. Sedan from MCO to I-Drive

We are staying at Marriott Grande Vista in the International Drive area.

I will be renting a mini van from Budget and picking up at the Airport (got a great code from mousesavers!).

BUT, two members of our group are flying on a different airline and arrive about 2.5 hours ahead of us.

I am trying to figure out whether they should just grab a taxi at the airport or whether they should reserve a sedan from FL tours or similar company.

I think they can get a sedan for about $55. How much would a cab be?

Any suggestions or comparisons will help. Thanks!

How about option C - they hang out at the airport for the 2.5 hours until you get there?

I was going to say that to. Lot of shops and restaurants on the third floor and time flys fast. Maybe there isn't room in the rental.
