Taxi Service ?

I am wondering if anyone can tell me approxiamently how much a taxi would be from the Rosen Shingle Creek to Universal studios. My daughter and her friends will be there and trying to budget for them.

Current taxi fare in the Orlando area is $2.20 for the first 1/4 mile and then 55¢ for each additional 1/4 mile (or 80 seconds of waiting time). In addition, there is a $0.50 surcharge on all rides (except the surcharge is $1.00 to or from the airport).

I have seen a recent report that this is the 5th highest taxi fare in the country.

MapQuest or similar can give you the distance.

Taxi service in Orlando is expensive. I paid $60 one way from the airport to the Universal Orlando complex

Taxi service at wow is definitely worthwhile when going from one hotel to another. Expensive but a big time saver
