Taxi Rates from POP to TTC?

Hello!

Does anyone know what the fare would be to take a taxi from POP to TTC. We have a Character Breakfast at CRT for 8:05am & I'm afraid the buses won't be running, so I want to have a back-up plan.

We originally had a rental car, but decided to save the money and use Magical Express.

I want to make sure we make it to our breakfast.

Are the taxi's always waiting at the resorts or do you need to call for one. Does anyone have any recommendations for a taxi company?

I did this, but for some reason it is saying POP is not a valid address. So I did Wide World of Sports address since this is near POP and that is invalid also.

I put in Blizzard Beach and got an estimate, but I'm not sure how close that is to POP and how accurate the rate is.

Do you know any other location that is close to POP that I can enter???

Disney DOES have early buses so people can get to their breakfasts, tours, etc. This question comes up almost weekly. There was some concern a month or so ago that Disney was stopping the early buses. But we were at WDW last month and the paperwork they gave us noted the early buses. Tyler (although no longer a bus driver) also posted a day or two ago that the early buses are still running.

ps....If you still want to use a taxi they are available outside all WDW resorts. They are normally waiting, but if one is not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away. Also, I would take the taxi to the Contemporary and you can walk or monorail over to the MK from there.

You should have no problem getting an early bus direct to MK. To be sure, the night before go down and talk to someone at the desk, they will tell you approximately what time the first bus will arrive.

I knew about the character breakfast buses, but after talking to WDW dining, they made it sound like the buses are not guaranteed and if you have the early seatings, you need to have your own transportation.

I just wanted to see if the price for a taxi is reasonable, just in case the buses don't show (Always need a back-up plan ).

But I will check with Guest Services when I arrive and get the transportation info.

As Tyler Says "Never trust tranportation information from CMs unless they are wearing purple pants". Anyway, he used to work at POP so hopefully, he taught them well and they will give you the right information. (the right information is "Yes there are busses")

If you want a taxi as a backup plan, you should have the taxi go to CR entrance (NOT TTC) and walk over to the MK (less than 10 minutes). It will cost a little less than $20.
