Taxi from Universal late at night

We are going to Disney in July and will be going to Universal/IOA for one day. We have tickets to the Blue Man Group, so we will be leaving around 11 pm or so.

We are taking a taxi to get there, but is it hard to get a taxi back to the resort? I read that they have a taxi lane, but are there always taxis waiting? Also, are there different prices for the taxis or is it usually standard? (I think it should be about $40 each way).
