Taxi from MK

Just wondering how much a Cab would be from MK to Comfort Suites Maingate East. Someone on an earlier thread said it would be about $25.00 The hotel said about 10 - 12. Just wondering if anyone has an idea. The hotel is the one close to Old Town.

It would probably be cheaper to just grab a bus from one of the monorail hotels to DTD, then grab a cab from there. WDW is so big and DTD is at one end.

I could see it being $20 to $25 from the TTC, It works out to around $3.00/mile. something else to consider is the LYNX (citybus company) has a stop at old town and that bus does go into the TTC, the number 56 try taking a look at the scheadule maybe that will help you its $1.25/per person/per ride.

I already checked the bus but their last run is around 10:30 or so. We're planning on MNSSHP and plan on staying as long as we can (or at least as long as DS4 can)! How can the desk clerk at the hotel be so off? 10 is a big difference from 30!

from MGM to the old town area would be closer maybe the $15 ballpark and that may be a little low. one example I have heard of from a former mears cab driver is that from the taxi cab parking lot at the AK to the main road outside of the AK is $4.00 and you haven't gone anywhere.


you may also try calling Mears taxi Dispatch (they may answer with some other cab companies name, they operate about 5 cab companies) they should be able to give you a estimate on the phone.

You can check a taxi at the TTC. I would bet it would cost between $20 and $25.

It would be cheaper to go from DTD. Might save you $10.
